Family home in suburban Reykjavik (open july 2019)

Our home is a cozy 120 square meters apartment on the second floor with 4 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room and a bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. The kitchen has everything you need like a microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and a blender. We also have a washing machine and a dryer.
Our apartment is in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We have two balconies and a barbecue and a shared garden you are free to use. The apartment is suitable for children. We have a lot of toys, a PlayStation 4, books and high chairs.

Beds:
Master bedroom - 180x200 cm (and a crib)
Bedroom 2 - 100x200 cm
Bedroom 3 - 120x200 cm
Bedroom 4 - 90x200 cm
We have extra mattresses and pillows if needed.

We have two large TVs, both connected with an Apple-TV and subscription to Netflix and local TV stations if you want to relax after a busy day of site seeing :). Hight speed internet connection and two PC computers.

Distances (walking):
Bus stops are by the street (2 minutes walk) and takes you to city center in 15 minutes.

It takes 10 minutes to walk to local shopping area where you can find a grocery store that is open 24/7, fresh fish, bakery, fast food, pharmacy etc.

Also in walking distance (15-20 minutes) we have a gym, a bowling alley, ice skating, and the biggest movie theater in Iceland. A little further (30 minutes walk) is a golf course and a park that offers paintball, laser tag and mini golf.

The nature is beautiful with many walking trails. There is a lovely outdoor geothermaly heated swimmingpool with hot tubs and sauna only 10 minutes walk away. Really our favorite thing especially on a bright summer evening.

Distances (driving):
Keflavík airport - 45 minutes.
Blue Lagoon - 40 minutes.
Town Central - 10 minutes.
Þingvellir (Thingvellir) - 40 minutes.
