Great location, bar on top is fun, great for family and friends to get together… however there should be stocked items for this many people. We didn’t have enough garbage bags, shampoo, toilet paper/ paper towels or towels. For how much you pay, there should be these items included for 8 people.

This is probably the best hotel that is at Lava Hot springs. A VERY short walk to the springs. It was so clean and the beds are very comfortable. Honestly if I go again I will make sure to stay here. Only downsides was that the WiFi wasn’t very good. It was decent . Also that I ran out of warm water 5 min into my shower once when I was there but we took a good amount of showers and they were all warm. The room being naturally warm and cool can be a bad thing. It was very warm and we hard 2 of the windows all the way open but nothing sticking out one leg wouldn’t fix. Overall it was an amazing trip and even better that we stayed here. 10/10 would recommend !

This was our third time staying here. We like that this room sleeps up to 8 and has a convenient location. Pros: Walking distance to food, shops and hot springs. Cons: You have to pay to use the supplied grill/ Traeger. As well, a charge to rent a table umbrella? Lastly, our room had cockroaches. Perhaps it is because they leave the outdoor garbage cans right buy the units front door? Anyway, it was gross.

We love staying here and have 3 times.. since new management the place looked like it hadn’t been dusted in over a year.. the owner said we will clean and they never cleaned it.. bedding was clean but that was it!

We’ve come exactly here 3 years in a row, before we used to camp but never again. Only problems were this year some items were missing from our apt that we’ve had in the past, the BBQ, extra outdoor seating, hot plate and umbrella were all missing. Luckily we had almost the whole place for friends staying in the other apartments and they had stuff so we borrowed. Thanks!

We loved that it was centrally located in town, that it was new and clean. It would've been nice to have a table inside to use since it was a bit too cold outside but it was manageable.

We stayed in Unit E. Had a great time in Lava. The Hot Springs are a brief walk from the room. Room was clean and comfortable! We loved the heated floor, especially after being out in the snow. Only issues we had were that there is no table in the room. We like to play cards and games and it was rough playing on the bed after a while, just because our backs were cramping. Would definitely come back and stay here, but will bring a folding table with us. Also, there were ants in the bathroom, but they didn't bother us too much, and we made sure food was kept put away. One of the bench chairs also needs all it's screws tightened, when we first sat on it, it felt like it would crumble, so we just pushed it aside. We tried to tighten the screws but needed an Allen wrench.

I understand there a lot of people going up to the bar and what not but it would be nice, if when you come back to your room with your family, you didn't have random people sitting at your table on the porch and playing corn hole. Just a little disrespectful in my opinion. We had stuff out on the porch so you could clearly see there were people staying there. We were only gone for maybe 15 minutes.

We enjoyed Lava!

This was a great place to stay. It perfectly fit our family of 7. The noise from the street and the upstairs bar was gone once inside the property. It was nice to have a full size fridge and a few kitchen accessories. We also enjoyed the beautiful view from the patio. Thank you for a nice stay!
