This is a great house. Location is right on the lake. Very spacious and clean. My family and kids and the dog had a great time. The only thing they could improve is have more pots and pans. Also spare blankets.

Great location, lots of fun
Didnt have any garbage service the entire stay. Garbage was full upon arrival on the 10th and finally picked up on the 18th. Had 7 of us so it piles up. Called property manager multiple times with out a return call. Would stay again though. Family had a wonderful time fishing and swimming plus the nice pool table

Pine Mtn Lake vacation
This is our 7th summer at Pine Mtn Lake - we love the house and location - but wish they at least had some Kayaks, paddle boards or water "toys" to use. The marina does not allow overnight rentals anymore and it is not very convenient to return boats by 5:30 - (the best part of the day is late evening)!
We enjoyed our visit - had some early morning smoke from the fires - but always cleared by mid morning. So Peaceful.

Nice spot but needs cleaning/ better instructions
9 of us stayed on property from Saturday, 6/30 - Thursday, 7/5. The kitchen is certainly nice albeit it would have been great to have known that there was a coffee maker so I did not have to bring my French Press.
Could not find the measuring cups so FYI.
Aside from the kitchen, the home is dated. The middle floor bathroom back by two bedrooms looks like it was taken intact from the 60's - 70's.
The level of dust and cobwebs was quite extreme inside the home. I understand how hard it is to get cobwebs off the rafters but the cobwebs are everywhere including light fixtures. If photos are needed, please advise.
If you have dust allergies, be aware.
The rest of the home seems tired and dated.
The upstairs (master?) bedroom does not have air conditioning and as heat rises, the bedroom was uncomfortable at night. We ran two fans and left the windows open to air out the room. Still uncomfortable.
We did not try the whirlpool tub because of the amount of water required/ the drought.
On the plus side, all appliances worked.

The owner appreciates the comments provided regarding their rustic, cabin-style home, but they furniture and setting are very nostalgic to them, so they have no plans to update or remodel. We do have a deep clean scheduled for after the busy season and will place an emphasis on dusting, especially cobwebs. We have purchased a new set of measuring cups for the home, and we have added the coffee maker to our list of available amenities. Thanks!

Good house for large group
We spent a couple of nights at the house. It has a fabulous location, is spacious and the private little dock is awesome for swimming and fishing off of. Mainly, the negatives are around the dated nature of the bedrooms and bathrooms which really detract from the otherwise attractiveness of the house. When you add in the fees to the rental, it was over $800/night and for that I expected a little bit nicer (not so 70's). We still had a good time. I think it just depends on what you are looking for. If it were to be updated would definitely rent it again.

All of our homes will be receiving a thorough deep cleaning after the busy summer season. In the meantime, we do have housekeeping coming between each reservation to do a complete clean of the home. Thank you!

50% cost increase?
We tried to re-book this home while we were there and the price went up almost $2000!!! I even called the main office in Portland to make sure there had not been some sort of mistake. We have loved staying there and the house is perfect for our family, but there is no way we can justify paying such an increase. We regret that we will be looking for other places that are more in keeping with the going rates at PML.

Stay every year at PML
Needs some T.LC. to be worth the money. It is worn out in many areas but has some up grades. I would only stay again if the items I listed in the
SURVEY REQUEST FROM VACASA were addressed. We all have our own expectations so this is just one renters opinion.

Family Vacation to Pine Mountain Lake
This house is amazing and is very spacious. The location is ideal - close to the marina, had our own dock so we could swim, fish and hang out on our property. The fishing right off the dock was actually perfect - the kids had a blast catching plenty of fish. Tons of room to hand out by the water - loved the fire pit and lights down by the water.
The kitchen was amazing with all new appliances - we cooked every meal at the house. The bbq on the deck was great too. Everything was clean and all beds were comfortable. They had amazing TV's so the kids could watch movies at night. They also had plenty of games and the air hockey table was a huge hit. We were extremely happy with this house and location. One of our favorite trips to date! Pine Mountain Lake is gorgeous.

Great Home in Great Location
A group of 9 of us stayed at this Lake House and it fit all of us just fine. The private dock on the lake was great for hanging out. The kitchen was large for multiple chefs! Everything was clearly labeled so it was easy to find things. The tub in the master bedroom was insane. The proximity to Yosemite made it very convenient. Overall had a great stay and would book this place again.

Lake Home
This house was beautiful. Sitting outside with a view of the lake's was very pretty and at night very pretty with the lights across the lake. It was nice having so much room. It even somehow felt a bit cozy even though it was big. What we enjoyed was the patio area that had room for a lot of people to hang out and play games. The disappointments were that the refrigerator and freezer did not cool properly and the outside porches were unswept and they would have been very nice with just a little more basic clean up and maintenance.

Nice, spacious home, and well equipped. Lots of room to spread out, good views, and a great kitchen. Access to some sort of water craft would have been nice, considering it's a lakefront property. Overall, a nice spot for your Groveland get away

Amazing Location
This is a gated community on a lovely lake that is not open to the public. We went in September and it was quiet and peaceful, so i can't say how it would be on a busy summer weekend. We rented a boat for fishing (not great fishing), but still fun just tooling around. Super close to Yosemite. Groveland has seen better days - seems a bit less vibrant than it once was, but there are a few cool spots. The house is huge. Super clean and comfortable beds. The kitchen and main family room are great. The game room downstairs is great. There are no kayaks or canoes or any water toys available but you can rent those things at the marina. For the price, you would expect more updated bathrooms and sturdier, cleaner decks, stairs, dock. If the price was reduced by $100 per night I would think about renting again it as is. Improve the broken things and throw in some kayaks and I would go again.
