Loved our stay at this glorious place. If you don’t mind walking in via beach at low tide or rough bush track it’s perfect. Quietly tucked away at end of beach for quite relaxing holiday with easy access to walking tracks and 5 min walk back to horseshoe bay. Very well appointed, loads of living area for 10 people, comfortable bedrooms all with ensuites. Only negative comment would be - personally like to have curtains/blinds on bedroom windows as like a dark room for sleeping. Would definitely return, and time it right with the tides for ease of access for initial unpacking of luggage etc. as bush track is not suitable.

Hi Kathryn! Thank you for your wonderful review. We’re so pleased you enjoyed the peaceful location, spacious layout, and comfortable bedrooms with ensuites, and that it worked well for your group. We also appreciate your helpful feedback regarding bedroom window coverings and access via the beach or bush track at certain tides. It’s great to hear you’d consider returning, and we’d love to welcome you back again in the future. - BOM Team

Secluded

We were well aware of the restricted access of the property, however, that enhanced the fun and adventure of the holiday. Lovely large roomy house suited our group’s holiday plans. While a pleasant stay, some areas of the house needed greater attention to cleaning. eg: floors need to be throughly cleaned, dishwasher unusable as it needed a deep clean. Lounge covers needed laundering. Appliances - Some gas rings and igniters were not working on the stove and gas ran out with no alternative supply to the stove.

Access is walking across a beach for 300m. No Internet. TV x 2 did not work.

Basically a good location if you do not mind the hardships of getting there and lack of technology which any normal person would expect more for the price being paid. On arriving we had to walk 300m across a beach to get there. Which we had no problem as able and fit. Forget it if you are older. On arrival at the premises, we asked the agent for the internet access. After 5 minutes we noticed they had left. There was no internet. Only phone that works is Telstra if you stand in the right spot. Forget about downloading files or streaming, it does not work. There was no information pack as such we were blind on restuarants, what days they opened, and any info on Internet or TV operation etc. Nothing. Both my wife and I run businesses and it was a disaster. They have two TV's they both could not receive signal. Tried to call agent to attend, half way through we lost phone signal, though they still did not attend the problem. Leaving the property the tide was two hours off high. We had to walk through a lagoon at front of property 50cm deep (thankfully not high tide) carrying our own luggage. A boat had to pick us up from the beach to drive us around the creek entrance at this stage about 1m deep to be offloaded at the beach near the road. That is all great of you don't mind carrying your own luggage, getting wet and sandy to hop on a ferry and then plane!!! When they say there us a back pathway, you still have to walk over rocks, through bush and still get wet walking through a creek. All fantastic when going to the restaurant and it is an access of last resort as dangerous at night. we opted to walk the beach at night and get wet wading through the creek entrance to the beach as the safest route. All this being said, we are not precious people and don't mind adventure, but for the money you pay,... seriously think again!!!

great property wish i could afford to buy it .

Great place to stay and relax . I think there need to be some attention taken on the deck where you first come into the property before someone goes through it .
