Fun studio in a great location

I really enjoyed my stay at Pelican Pad. As a woman traveling alone I felt safe and the property was quiet and close to shopping, restaurants and area sights / activities. The hosts were easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay. We arrived later than expected so I reached out to let Steve and Mary know and they were very responsive. I literally fell in love with this place and could live her full time. They thought of everything in this property. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Tampa.

My husband and i found Flamingo Flats last minute for our vacation and are we glad we did! It was absolutely adorable! The butterfly garden is quaint and vibrant and the flat itself is cozy! Stephen and Mary were fabulous hosts and Sami, the grounds keepers, was an absolute delight! We cant wait to come back and stay again!!

Exceeded expectations!

My fiancé and I needed a last minute week in Florida after a tough winter in MN. Thanks fully, We found The Flamingo Flat last minute! Steve and Mary’s attention to detail was so appreciated. They even provided a beach wagon and cabana for us to relax in. It was a lifesaver! There was even beach towels and supplies for our forgetful selves. The flat serves its purpose and then some. We will be back!

Better then other places I've stayed at in the general area. Very well decorated from Driveway to apartment door and inside Flamingo Flats. You can just bring your clothes and Food because everything else is provided. To much to list. The shower was most enjoyable with the double shower head. Sitting areas outside apartment where very useful also for relaxing and reading. All extra amenities provided for beach going where useful. Grill provided in outside area was not used but a nice extra for your stay. Enjoyed front outside area at night also. Well lit up and relaxing. The kitchen and it's many useful equipment where all provided down to the paper towels. Sink could be bigger but worked well. Had a great stay while there. Did not communicate with property manager because everything went well. Nothing to complain about but maybe toilet not fully flushing every time. Minor issue. Would recommend this place to anyone needing to stay and enjoy this part of town. Many restaurants, stores and attractions nearby. Will definitely consider staying here again. TY for a great getaway.

Near everything you will need

Here for a work trip and was very close to the beach, restaurants and groceries as well. Be advised it is a mini fridge so don’t over shop the cold stuff. Place was clean and had the amenities needed. It was quiet as well at all hours of the day. It was perfect for my needs and would certainly return.

Hi, we’re Steve and Mary — originally from the Carolinas and married in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. After spending several years living in Virginia, we came to visit Mary’s mom here in sunny Florida and quickly realized this was where we wanted to call home.
