Asian room in the Cemetery Schoolhouse

We are unfortunately no longer able to accept short term stays. But we invite you to really settle in for a month or more and get a feel for Hudson and experience the unique quiet history of this schoolhouse property, nestled right between Cedar Park and the Hudson city cemetery.
This country craftsman schoolhouse has 4 renovated 750 Sq. ft classroom lofts, each with it's own private back entrance. I guess there's no need to tout the perks of this place, being in a park setting, totally removed from any living soul with acres and acres to stroll and explore. it's a 7 minute stroll to Warren st through the most gorgeous historic cemetery in all of America!!

This particular room is our pride & joy. Built around a 18th century Opium Wedding bed, it is an artistic blend of Asian and contemporary design. A spiritual space in complete harmony with the natural beauty of the surroundings…

Amazing space in great location!

If you’re looking for a getaway with character and awesome hostess this place is perfect. I personally won’t stay anywhere else and if you want to spend time in your room there’s plenty of space and everything you need to prepare a quick bite - plus generous seating outside to enjoy the fresh air.

Wonderful get away

Laura provides everything you need. Very comfortable, beautiful deco and close to everything. Cedar Park Cemetery is a beautiful cemetery, my parents & grandparents are buried there, so it was convenient for that part of my stay as well. Her birds are fun! Nice, quiet area. I highly suggest & will return for my yearly visit.

Great unique stay in Hudson

The apartment was great, clean, easy to get in and out, the only part that was Not made clear prior to the booking was the Large bird/Huge outdoor fire escape cage right outside the door. The bird woke me up early in the morning and I was startled to see a large burd outside the kitchen door. As it staes this is in a cemetary (not for everyone) it was quiet, ha. Location being close-walking dostance to down town Hudson, host and communication was great.

Loved this location (middle of a beautiful, old cemetery-less than 10 mins to everything in town) and the whole building! So fun. Themed artistic and inspiring decor in the Asian room. The attention to detail was everywhere. Laura Ann took care of our every need and desire, right down to breakfast croissants under a pedestaled little glass dome outside of our door. I would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the Hudson area.
