Welcome to the HOOK, WINE, AND SINKER BEACH HOUSE. 4BR/3.5BA stilt house is a fantastic place for your next island get way. ~Private Heated Pool, **no heating charge** ~Amazing back yard with plenty of seating ~Free 6 seat Golf Cart ~Our guests rave about our memory foam mattresses ~On large lot with privacy from neighbors ~Close to the beach ~Well appointed Chef's Kitchen ~Low stress, easy checkout ~On single outlet, low traffic street ~Cornhole boards ~Keyless Entry We have a big family and lots of kids and know what we look for in an amazing vacation house. We set up the Hook, Wine, and Sinker Beach House to be perfect for your family or group of friends too! The golf cart is an absolute must if you want the total Port A experience, and we've got you covered. No need to spend $150/day for a golf cart and waste time picking one up. From the moment you arrive, we have ours 6 seat golf cart ready and waiting so let the vacation begin! . With a short 3 min drive you'll be cruising the beach in no time. I love to cook when we travel and we know our guests do too. That's why we made sure our house has a well stocked Chef's kitchen with the massive granite island. We provide lots pots, pans, and utensils. After a long day of having fun, we want you to have the best sleep possible and our guests absolutely love our the memory foam mattresses! With 1 King master suite, 1 queen master suite, a 1 queen bedroom, and a bunk room with high bunks and 2 Full size mattresses. The Hook, Wine, and Sinker is perfect for big families, several small families, or even groups of friends. The laundry is in the hall nice new front loader washer/dryer and plenty of detergent, meaning you don't have to go home with mountains of dirty laundry! Low stress checkout without lots of chore before they depart, so just take out the trash, load the dish washer, and bon voyage! Our excellent house keeping staff will take care of the rest. We want you to come back to our house over and over again!!! Guests will have access to the whole property, including garage, pool, golf cart, and house. Lots of parking for cars or boats. I'm always happy to give advice on fun things to do in Port A or great restaurants I like. Just give me or my husband a call if you have any questions. We are also happy to provide our guests full access to our 6 seat golf cart for their entire stay, at no additional cost!! If you know about Port A, then you know a golf cart is an absolute must for the full Island experience. And that's exactly what we want our guests to have! You will have access to the 6 seater golf cart. Must climb stairs - it is a stilt home with a flight of stairs to access the front door.

The perfect family vacation

Amazing place with great location

My family and I were very happy with our stay and would recommend it to everyone. The house is new, very clean, the pool is great, and one of my most favorite things was the electric golf cart with the Bluetooth speaker on it. We loved our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again!

Everything was clean, well organized, beautifully decorated, and the added bonus of the golf cart was amazing. Host was quick to respond to any questions and super accommodating. Family getaway

It was wonderful house! Beautifully decorated and furnished! The heated pool was wonderful since it was raining most of our stay. The golf cart was a huge bonus as well!!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Best kid friendly house from infants to teens..

Pool was great when needing a break from the beach. Golf cart was awesome. House was easy to cook and clean up was breeze. Would definitely stay here again.

Super Comfortable and Tons of Fun

Fun in the Water, Sun and Sand

Hook, Wine, & Sinker is a great place to get away and enjoy all that Port A has to offer. Convenient location with all the comforts of home. Loved our time at the beach and pool! The owners were quick to respond to our questions and the house was just as advertised.

Winter retreat

We had a couple day retreat for my wife, daughter and five of our grandchildren. The accommodations were well provided and great. The kids made memories on the beach, pool and golf cart. The only way it could have been better was if we had stayed for a week.

Friends get away.

Everything went very smoothly renting this beautiful house. Everything worked the way it should. Only thing we would do differently is we would have stayed longer. We very much enjoyed our stay!

LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN

Our time at Hook, Wine & Sinker was wonderful. The house is beautifully decorated and set up perfectly for a great stay. We LOVE this house! Perfect Getaway!!!!

This is our second year to stay at Hook, Wine & Sinker. We absolutely love it! It is perfect for our needs. The owner is awesome to communicate with and we've never had a problem. The Perfect Getaway!!!

From the time we made our reservations Christiana has been in touch with us & answered all of our questions. When we arrived, we couldn’t believe what a great house this is! It is perfect for what we need. We spent time at the beach and then came back to the house and swam in the pool. The decor was cheerful & the house was very comfortable! It had everything we needed. We enjoyed it so much that we reserved it for next year before we left! Thank you, Christiana, for such a great vacation getaway!!

Light-Filled Living

We loved all the natural light in the kitchen/living area. Having 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms was a plus, affording us all more privacy. The heated pool and the new golf cart were especially nice! Christiana and Joe’s home had nice finishes and was tastefully decorated. They anticipate the needs of their guests, especially those with young children. I have stayed in several vacation homes and I have never experienced one that was this well stocked with paper goods, cleaning supplies, beach towels, baby equipment, etc.

Prefect stay!

Everything in the house was as advertised and better. Was the second cleanest house I've ever rented. Everything was in good working order, kids loved the pool. Having the golf cart provided and not having to deal with renting one,, made getting around town and to the beach hassle free. Overall a really great experience renting this home. The only negatives that I can recall, there were to many TV remotes and some didn't have batteries, and the organization of kitchen utensils was nonexistent (but that may have just been my preferences on organization). Will definitely stay at this location again!

Awesome Beach House!!!

I don't think I can express how great the house is and how it exceeded all our expectations. Here is my abbreviated version the house is very well decorate with beautiful accent décor it so nice that my first though was this is not kid friendly BUT surprise it was suppose kid friend, which made be believe that this house was built for there family with love. The house has three bedroom and baths fully furnished and fully stocked. I say this because we have rented beach houses before and they say full stocked, but it was not but this house was fully stocked from the kitchen to the bathroom. The heat pool was a life saver because it was cold and rained two days during our stay, but the outside pool area is great with plenty of pool toys. The kitchen has every pot and pan you could need with great quality and durability. The kids’ room was full of toys and books with full size bunk beds and mini chase sofa that turned into a sleep bed. I found kids book in French and I was so excited my six years of taking French has just paid of I read bedtime story in French. The golf cart was an extra plus!! This was our first trip to Port Aransas, and I can honestly say when we return this is where, we will stay. Just FYI you do have to catch the Ferry. Christiana was fabulous she was helpful and responded quickly to any questions. Thank you for the great vacation experience!

Wendy, Thank you so much for that amazing review. We have a big family (five kids under 11) and we put a lot of thought and work towards making the HW & S a truely family friendly Port A destination. We, like you, are also a family who loves to cook ( my husband is from New Orleans and I studied in France during college). We've stayed at some great houses that were, lacking in the cooking equipment department so we wanted to make sure that our guests didn't want for any pots, pans, or utensil to cook with. Making great meals on family vacations is a great joy to us. I'm sincerely grateful you had a fantastic stay and absolutely would love to have you and your family back with us anytime!

We live in Round Rock, TX, have 5 kids, one dog, a cat, and a mom. My husband is an ICU nurse and I stay home with the kids. This is our first beach house and we are so excited about it!!

Why they chose this property

We LOVE this house. Having a pool all to yourself is fantastic and we love cruising the beach in the golf cart. The neighborhood makes us happy with its beautiful colors and proximity to town and the beach. It was hard to find a house big enough to fit our family so when we found this one we jumped on it! The place is perfect!!

What makes this property unique

Since it wasn't completely built when we bought it we started immediately modifying it to be our dream home with beautiful white marble and white and navy cabinets, a private pool with a tall fence around it so you really feel private, a nice big play area under the house (cuz thats where the cool breeze is!) with games and seating and everything you could want to make your stay amazing, thats why we love the Hook, Wine, and Sinker!
