About this property
Quaint Cabin With Spectacular Views Of The Granite Dells, Great Hiking/Kayaking!
A spacious covered deck affords you a front-row seat to this 14-acre boulder and pine creation, right out your back door. Two new Trade air conditioning and furnaces installed in February 2023. The east-facing deck is made for outdoor entertaining. It has a built-in propane grill and a tiled buffet. Lots of comfortable seating makes this the place to relax on a warm summer evening with a glass of wine or cool winter morning with a cup of coffee. An 8ft. slider brings you into an open living room. This space has vaulted ceilings with light knotty pine and a beautiful stone fireplace. These are surrounded by Lazy Boy recliners and attractive dark upholstered couch and love seat. Whether you are staring dreamily into the fire or watching a program on the cable flat-screen TV, it's hard to get up and do anything else. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, slow cooker, mixer, coffee pot, toaster, can opener, blender, microwave, and dishwasher. A large dining room table makes meals easy and accommodating. Boulder Cabin sleeps 5 with a queen in each bedroom and a sofa (not a sofa sleeper} in the living room. Wonderful views surprise you out of the bedroom windows. The master bath is very special with a walk in dual head shower, and separate toilet room. I never close the blinds, because the 14 acres of large boulders and trees, is a strong deterrent to to any casual person passing by. Both bedrooms share a covered deck for bird watching or bat spotting. A picnic table makes for fun outdoor dining to feed kids. The hall bath with tub/shower combination is convenient for guests. Internet and washer/dryer bring modern touches to the cozy cabin in the rocks. Keep an open mind as you drive through Canyon View Trailer Park, as it is quite an eyesore. The Fillingim's have owned that park and all of the land back into the canyon for many years. They raised 5 children in the stone house on the hill above and behind the park. Two of the grown kids have built beautiful homes behind the electronic gate just beyond my cabin. I have owned this cabin since 2005. I feel totally safe when I am at the cabin alone, while never having had anything vandalized or stolen. Many times the residents in the park have helped me with one thing or another. Please keep in mind not to base my review on the trailer park as I have disclosed it completely. I must maintain a 4.8 to remain a Preferred Partner which determines my placement on the internet. Be prepared, when you arrive because Boulder Cabin will be very special retreat for your stay in Prescott!

The place was just lovely with lots of beautifully done upgrades in this little cabin! Beautiful tile in the master bath and lovely gas range in the kitchen. Living room is set up perfectly so all seating can perfectly view the large LARGE screen T.V. :) Deck has the feel of privacy with the lovely rock mountain side to stare at as you sip your coffee. Had a perfect fenced in area off both bedroom decks for our mini dachshund to go potty and stay put. Highly recommend!
Cabin and property were well cared for and friendly to our pets. We enjoyed the BBQ and deck, and all the furniture was very comfortable. I loved the shower in the master bath. I'd recommend bringing a non stick pan if you plan to cook eggs. All other amenities were great. Thank you for a nice place to hang out in our road trip.
We had a wonderful time! The cabin was very cute and great location for being outdoors.

Premier Partners need to keep a4.8 to remain where. You are placed on the internet. You should say why the cabin didn’t get 5 stars. Comparing it to similar places. What could I have fixed for you?
Great communications with the host. The property was perfect for us. Nice and roomy, clean and easy access to the lakes, downtown, forest and museums. Real nice place to stay.

Housekeeping is spotless. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Lovely shower in master bath. Master bedroom off living room while second bedroom is off kitchen - so privacy. Fenced in backyard and gated porch so our dog could not roam. Convenient to downtown, grocery, museums, parks, golf, and lakes. 5 minutes to Lake Watson with kayaking. 10 minutes to Antelope Hills Golf courses. Linda was very helpful with suggestions on dog friendly restaurants and prompt to get back to me. You can drink your morning coffee and evening drinks with a literal million dollar view of the unique rock formations of the Dells. Think Sedona in the granite colors of Yosemite. The cabin is on the edge of a small canyon so nice breeze. I sketched, painted and read and could have spent the entire week on the porch. There are tiny finches and hummingbirds (fill the feeder). Convenient. Peaceful. We loved it! What a spectacular find!
Another wonderful stay at this cabin, which we’ve rented three times before it’s so comfortable very clean perfect if you’re traveling with pets and just beautiful surroundings, I can’t say enough about this property
Good location. Quiet and nice porch with interesting boulders and trees.

To stay a Superhost or Preferred Partner, you must maintain a 4.8 Score. Some people say they never give 5’s.
The cabin isn’t The Ritz Carlton but if you compare apples to apples it takes a lot of 5’s to make up for a 4.
What could I have done to get a 5? VEBO only recognizes 4.5. A 4 will review will eventually make me lose my Premier Status, which is imperative I maintain.
Property was clean and comfortably decorated... beds were great...watching the stars on the patio was awesome. It was very quiet despite having neighbors. This property was only a mile from the lake so that made things very easy for us. We would love to come back again.
