About this property

Waterfront Paradise, Sun, Decks and Spa

Welcome to our home overlooking the harbour, just a stones throw from the waters edge. Our house has a relaxed beach feel and is well connected to the outdoors. We are passionate about art, so there is a lot sprinkled around the house
This is a family home with three bedrooms, modern furnishings designed for comfort, relaxation and huge views. Large bi- fold doors give an indoor outdoor flow to allow for alfresco dining, and a spa on the deck is a great place to watch the magnificent sunsets and harbour activity.
The main entrance leads into a spacious floating atrium The upstairs landing floats over the atrium and leads to 3 bedrooms , bathroom and an ensuite off the Master bedroom.
This is a family home that is fabulous for both teenagers and adults.
Unfortunately it is not suitable for children under 10 yrs

**Please Note : There is a private self contained Studio downstairs with its own entrance and private deck that we have not made available in the house rental **

There is good swimming to be had off the steps at the Boat Shed Cafe or it is a short walk to the beach

. Master Bedroom - King bed , Ensuite ,glass sliding doors onto deck
. Bedroom Two - Queen bed , glass sliding doors onto deck
. Bedroom Three - The smallest Room - has both a single and King Single bed


The large kitchen /dining area flows seamlessly onto a large deck with an outside dining table for eight and comfortable setting to relax on and enjoy the huge vista and harbour views or enjoy a relaxing spa.

Stunning house

Jacqui & Matt have the most amazing house. Their outside space is beautiful, you actually don't want to leave the property to explore the surroundings. But once you do, you will find yourself surrounded by beautiful nature, wildlife and adventures. We highly recommend!

Poor cleanliness, owners food in left in cupboards, ants in kitchen, clothes in wardrobe.

Had owner staying in a studio downstairs is off putting at da lest, and no garage use. I was on da understanding we had da whole house but not really. Lovely views

Hi Craig Im sorry that your stay wasn’t as you had hoped . It does state on the website that there is a Studio on the lower level that has its own private entrance and deck that is not part of the house. Occasionally we come and go from here. It is private and seperate from the main house Our house is a family home that we rent out at certain times of the year. It has a casual beach feel. People are welcome to use the condiments, tea , coffee, and sauces. The fridge and freezer are empty besides some useful condiments on the inside door. Ants and flys are around at certain times of the year and especially when the bifold door are open over summer. In all the rooms there is wardrobe space and shelves to put your clothes. In the main room … half of the wardrobe is cut of by glass sliding door and the other half fully available Apologies for not meeting your expectations. We were available to call if you had any issues although we were away for the last half of your stay Thanks again Jacqui and Matt

We are passionate about sport and playing in the outdoors- skiing, mountain biking, climbing, and water sports
We have two fabulous kids who are both at university in Otago and share our love for the outdoors.

Why they chose this property

We loved this house the minute we stepped inside. The views are huge, the sunsets magical and it has such a connection to the outdoors with large decks and expansive views. We put a spa on the balcony which we use all the time as another outdoor room to sit under the lights of the stars
