The Beach, Mapua Wharfside Apartments

Breakfast on the deck with fantastic views of the ever changing estuary and Rabbit Island. Step onto the beach to swim, fish or kayak. Amble next door to the cafes, restaurants and wharf activities. Jumping off the wharf as tide is going out is a great fun, local sport for all ages. Explore the many art galleries and vineyards in the region.
Mapua Wharfside Apartments is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding areas of Golden Bay, Abel Tasman and Nelson, a lovely retreat to return to. Jump on the Ferry across to Rabbit Island, picnic on the golden sands. The adjacent cycle trail is suitable for all ages and abilities. Bike hire is available on the Wharf. We have a couple of kayaks that can be used by guests on request. Be as active or restful as you desire.
Special conditions:
There are a couple of single foam mattresses which can be used by children. Pets may be able to stay on request. Smoking out doors only.

This property is in a prime location with a view that is gorgeous and never gets old.

Very nice property, clean with comfortable beds. Property manager was on site and very helpful. It is situated on the water and close to everything. Was a joy to stay here and we will go back

A great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our short break in Mapua. The apartment was extremely comfortable and the view was wonderful. Highly recommend this apartment - it was handy to the cafes yet private and quiet.

Bright, clean, best location

My family of 3 had a short, 1 night stay here, but it was wonderful. The booking process and communication was 100% and the location could not be beat. The property was clean and just as described. You are on the water and we enjoyed walking over the the wharf for meals. A real treat was swimming and watching the children (and some adults) jump off the wharf at low tide and have the current carry them to the shore. We do hope to return for a longer stay. You can rent bicycles and take the pedestrian ferry to Rabbit Island, which was something we just didn't have time to do. Next time! Thanks for sharing this wonderful property!

Great location but needs blinds in living room as you have no privacy from people on the beach also

Great location but needs blinds in living room as you have no privacy from people on the beach also with the sun coming in the large front window it get's very hot it would be unbearable in summer I believe you can get blinds which you can see out of but no one can see in they also cut back on the sun coming in, also a more thorougher check before new people are coming in i.e dishwasher not emptied,sheets still in washing machine,no washing pwd.It's details that make's all the difference.
