Great a lot for family vacation
Location is great -right in the heart of Panama City Beach, so very close to everything! The beach and Pineapple Willys is directly across the street and easy to walk to. There’s even a WalMart across the road!
The complex is very large, which does have its pros and cons. The Pros is that there are 4 different pools, a fitness room, plenty of parking, a boardwalk, and several restaurants right on property (and the beach across the street). However, because it is so large, navigating the complex can become tiresome -expect to have to walk quite a bit from the parking garage, and also up/down stairs lot because there are not enough elevators to keep up with the demand unless you want to wait >20 min.
The unit itself is great -very clean, roomy and a spectacular view of the ocean from the 8th floor! The master bedroom and bathroom suite is quite roomy, the kitchen and living room sufficient for 6 people, the 2nd bedroom and bathroom were nicely proportioned, and the “bonus” bunk room is a nice way to sleep 2 extra people (it worked especially well for our kids).
The complex at large is showing its age a bit - much of the common areas, including some of the pool area, walkways and stairwells need maintenance, and there was noticeable trash laying around where dropped by careless travelers (a sign of either inattentive or not enough staff.)
However this unit was nicely decorated, clean, and well maintained. Worth it for the view and amenities!
