Family with young kids
Such a cool place to stay! Our kids loved the animals and the truck slide. The camp fire with the horses right there was a unique experience and I would stay again. The bedroom with the full bed was big enough to fit a pack-n-play for the baby.
An excellent place to getaway. The cabin was as advertised.

Wonderful cabin & property
Cozy, clean, and comfortable - the people who manage the property are friendly and helpful. The scenery is beautiful. The cabin is in the woods, but close enough to modern conveniences. It was a great weekend stay.

Great time as always
Wonderfull quiet location, It's a rustic cabin, so it's not "glamping" but it has all the amenities you need to keep you comfortable for your stay. Amazing hosts and a special welcoming from Walter (the turkey) was a nice touch. Larger vehicle preferred for the last bit of road up the mountain. Will return.
Amazing stay - loved the property and all the animals. Nice and quiet with plenty of privacy to enjoy our vacation. Cabin was a great space for unwinding after a day in the woods exploring. Our 2.5 year old loved the playground monster truck that was right near the cabin & the never ending supply of farm cats.
Very relaxing and comfortable. Will 100% be going back. Bob & Mo we're awesome! We did not want to leave.

Clean, comfortable, and fun! And dog friendly!!
This was our first visit to Urban Saddle Ranch and it was exactly what we wanted! We had our own cottage with bed linens, towels, and cookware. The rooms were clean, we had a fire ring, and a grill. We brought our dog and it worked out well! The hosts were super friendly and they have horses, ducks, cats, a peacock, a turkey that welcomes you. The experience is very cool! We even adopted a kitten that we have added to the family!! We will be back :)
The cabins are definitely rustic but in a convenient location to access the lake. The property manager was incredibly nice and fixed any issue we had immediately. Our problem came when we woke to find a cockroach in the kitchen sink and that a mouse had helped himself to our snacks on the counter. After that we decided it wasn’t a place we would stay again

Debra, we're glad that you enjoyed this cabin's beautiful location! However, we're sorry that you experienced some inconvenience during your stay. While critters can be common in rural locations, we're sorry that this negatively impacted your trip. We have relayed your concerns to the homeowner, so we can work together to improve future guests' experience. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and we hope to have the chance to host you again soon! Best, the Evolve Team
The property itself is stunning and well maintained grounds. There were horses, ducks, chickens and we were able to hear a peacock and rooster. You can sit on the back deck and just watch the horses. They loved the carrots we gave them. When we entered the cabin we found it to be less clean than one would expect as there was mouse droppings everywhere(beds, sink, counters), there was an opened and used bar of soap in the shower as well. There was less than half of a roll of toilet paper left in the bathroom with no back up. The bed was pretty uncomfortable as well. The good part was that I went in thinking there was no ac but there was actually a window unit which made the stay much more pleasant. The cable tv was much appreciated as well since I got little to no cell service unless sitting outside.
My family and I stayed in the Wyatt Earp Cabin. We were able to feed horses right out our back door! It’s so beautiful and relaxing there. We made friends with a turkey who made sure to keep an eye on us. We already have plans to go back.
We enjoyed our stay at urban saddle. Monique was very sweet and helpful. You could walk right out the back door of the wyatt earp cabin and see the horses.
My husband and kids blessed me with a weekend away, by myself, for my Birthday!
It was so relaxing and cozy. I loved how it was secluded, but not that far from town. It was neat to have farm animals out and about. Then at night just enjoying the stars above.
I stayed in Wyatts Cabin and I loved it! Everything was ready on my arrival. Nice and tidy. Thank you so much for having me!
The cabin was lovely, just what you need for a cabin in the woods. We appeared to have the best location on the property: behind the cabin was a horse pasture with horses (of all sizes!) wandering around, and behind that was a beautifully lit pond that was gorgeous after the sun went down. The friendliest barn cat frequently came to visit our group as well to show off his tree climbing skills. The host was really friendly and easy to communicate with. The only thing I would say is that it is a cabin in the woods- bugs/spiders are bound to get inside. As long as you're expectations are adjusted for that it'll be a wonderful stay!
We ended up with some unplanned time off and wanted to book a quick trip. We thought camping, but that needed a bit more prep. So we found these cabins and it was absolutely perfect. All the fun of camping, with the bonus of shower, kitchen, linens, etc. The ranch feels so secluded, but is also extremely convenient to all the local attractions and conveniences. Would be awesome for a large family getaway or group vacation too. The owners were very kind and all the animals on property kept our 9yo entertained! Will definitely be back

Quiet, secluded yet close to everything
This was our second time staying at the ranch because we love it so much. Everything about this ranch is unique starting with the lovely owners, the eclectic cabins and the animals walking about. This was my 16 yr old daughters first time coming with us and she just could not get enough of the animals. Feeding the horses and pigs was most definitely the highlight of her stay. She seemed to have made a special friend very quickly, a juvinille cat whom followed her around each day. I was truly worried that we were going to find a this little guy stowed away in the back seat of our car when we arrived home. My favorite moment was enjoying a quite cup of coffee while sitting on the back deck listening to all the animals waken to the day. The ranch is tucked away just far enough in the mountains to feel secluded, yet is truly only minutes away from so many great destinations. We look forward to returning again in a month to stay for Parents Weekend for Juniata College.
Great little cabin. Very close to a ton of stuff and super cool farm.

Access to property was terrible.
I will never book this place again. There was no office on-site for check in. There were no amenities at the property. The road to get in and out was treacherous.

Hi Rose, we're sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the same five-star experience here as past guests. The homeowner assured us that everything is just as advertised, and past guests have not had any issues with the road. We are confident that future travelers have a wonderful time at this unique property.
Off the beaten path but still close to the lake as well as the main strip. Our cabin was in the back so we felt secluded which was nice. The animals walked right up to the back of our cabin! For being on a ranch, there was no harsh animal smell! We had a wonderful time!
My friend and I stayed in the Wyatt Earp cabin this weekend and had a wonderful time! The owners are so sweet and hospitable! They work hard to make sure their guests have a wonderful stay and it shows in the experience. Their horses, ponies, turkeys, cats, and ducks make it an even more enjoyable experience!
Perfect for getting away from the crowds. There is one larger building that has several apartments, which would be perfect for larger groups or extended-family vacations, but we stayed in a single family cabin that was well spaced from the others. It's what you'd expect if you were staying at a friend's cabin. Clean, homey, and a little dated (in a good way). The ranch has plenty of space to walk around and see the horses, ducks and chickens.
