AGE RESTRICTION : Sandpiper Beach Resort requires that one of all the guests be a minimum of 25 years of age.


PERSONAL INFORMATION: *Your personal information - GOVERNMENT PHOTO ID is required upon check-in.


PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING, PILLOWS AND LINENS FOR DOUBLE BEDS. YOU MUST BRING TOWELS AND TOILETRIES (including toilet paper, and soaps/shampoo and cleaning supplies) AS THEY ARE NOT PROVIDED. Each mattress is covered with a freshly washed cover, protector and must not be removed.

KITCHENS: OUR KITCHEN IS EQUIPPED WITH POTS AND PANS, DISHES, GLASSES, MUGS, CUTLERY AND SOME COOKING AND SERVING UTENSILS. THERE IS A STOVE, REFRIGERATOR, MICROWAVE, TOASTER, KETTLE AND COFFEE MAKER. EACH COTTAGE HAS THEIR OWN BARBECUE WITH PROPANE TANK AND A PICNIC TABLE.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Turn off any fans and air conditioner. Shut and lock all windows. Return Parking Pass and keys into the bag on the wall.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
All rules and regulations must be followed as stated on our website and rental agreement to guarantee return of security deposit.
MUST FOLLOW ALL THE WASAGA BEACH BY-LAWS. ESPECIALLY THE NOISE RESTRICTION RULE -quiet time is from 11 pm to 8 am.
All guests MUST conduct themselves at all times in a manner respectful and NOT offensive to the neighbours.

This property was pretty rustic but the location was absolutely fantastic. Sand right up to our cottage which was great for the kids so they could continue to play and we didn’t have to be at the water the whole time. Basic amenities provided. No toilet paper, garbage bags, or bedding so don’t forget to bring your own.

It was around 20 minutes walk to beach 1. The beach in front was nice and kids were able to dip and play in the lake. I loved that it was less than 5 minutes walk to the beach. The place was nice. Only downside were there were no air conditioner in the rooms and only 2 parking spaces were allowed. However the air conditioner in the living room area worked well and the location was just perfect. We would love to come back again soon.

Beautiful beach

This is the 3rd time here. We love the beach location, it's on Area 2 which is not crowded and on that beach it's mainly the people staying at the cottages. The cottages are outdated and the mattresses and beds are quite uncomfortable but they are spacious enough and clean. Out toilet bowl was borken but we had speedy service and got replaced right away. The host is great in terms of communication,, always answering questions right away. The pricing can be steep but you are right on the beach. Will definitely be coming back and making it our family tradition.

We loved our stay at Sandpiper! We're a family with lots of young children and they loved staying right on the beach. The location is awesome and we had picture perfect sunsets every evening. We can't wait until next summer to stay again!

Rented two cottages for a family reunion and we had a good time. The house was nice with the only comment being the screened door came off the hinges the very first time we opened it (we advised the gentleman who worked the grounds). Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and the house was nice.

4 days right on the beach

Myself and family had an amazing time! There were no roads to cross cause it’s right on the beach and there was always hot water to shower after swimming multiple times throughout the day. We forgot to bring our own linen because of Covid but there is a Walmart 5 min up the street so we were covered lol. Awesome memories can’t wait to do it again before the summer ends.

Great beach access

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Sandpiper Beach Resorts. The cottages are a little more rustic than I am used to but everything required is there and it is all clean. The owners were very responsive to communication. Best part is the beach location...right on the sand and steps to a quiet section of beautiful Wasaga Beach. I'll be booking again for sure!

An extra $55 was charged after the initial booking was already done because "the site had the wrong information". There were no pillows or blankets for any of the beds. There was no toilet paper for the bathroom.
