Nine Palms is a beautiful, single -story home near South Mountain in the Ahwatukee Foothills neighborhood of Phoenix. Over 50 miles of hiking and mountain biking are a block away. We face Western Star Park. The far end of the park features a covered children's play area as well as tennis and basketball courts.

This house is very well kept upscale decorations very comfortable. Has everything you need to cook a couple meals and enjoy them outside. We took advantage of the nice park across from property and mountain trails nearby. The communication with the owner was great. Master suite and bathroom was incredible. Located in a nice neighborhood, but blocks away from the hustle and bustle where you can get to many grocery store options.

This is a well equipped, comfortable house. It was perfect for our group of 4 adults and a young child. The location was great and we enjoyed easy access to hikes in South Mountain. We loved being able to walk to the playground any time. The pool was nicely maintained and heated with lot of toys. We especially appreciated how child friendly the house is with lots of toys, books and even a stroller. Barbara communicated with us promptly.

This home was very clean and organized. The landscaping was beautiful and we enjoyed the hummingbirds feeding on the flowering plants while floating in the pool. We felt right at home during our stay.

Very nice place to stay. Location is great. The house is very clean. Just disappointed that the pool water was not at the temperature that I was told it would be at. Other than that, it was a great stay.

I’m so sorry the pool water was not as warm as you expected. We have pool temperature. Locked at 78 degrees. Nights in Phoenix are cool in the fall annd winter and the pool looses a lot of heat at night. We are installing a pool cover in December that should help the situation. I always let renters know our pool isn’t a hot tub. It’s just heated enough to take the chill off. I’m so sorry it wasn’t what you expected!

Host was very helpful with our check in (early). Everything as described. A beautiful home with a higher end finish and appliances. Spacious kitchen with a traeger and a regular grill outside. The kitchen was unusually well stocked with cooking gear and we made our christmas dinner with ease (bone in prime rib roast). A very nice heated pool, outdoor living space and a bunny rabbit that came out and said hello every morning.

Barbara and Marc are incredible hosts that have thought of everything for their guests! The house was clean organized and the pool was a dream setup with a gate for safety. From sunscreen to extra blankets, this house was perfect for our stay and the location was right across from the park. We can't recommend this gem enough!

Best rental ever!

We have rented a lot of places, but this was our best ever! So kid friendly, well stocked kitchen, heated pool, easy access to trails… everyone from 22 month old to 90 year old felt comfortable. Huge thanks to the owner and we would love to return!!

Awesome Entertainment Home

We celebrated Thanksgiving with our AZ family. The home was perfect for entertaining. It is very close to the airport, shopping, and more. Open space concept with great TVs and comfortable beds...Pool was heated and there were excellent grills. Would stay again in a heartbeat...

We live in Chicago and we know bad weather! That may be why we love Phoenix so much. We have three grown children and two grandchildren. One of our sons and his wife live in the area and introduced us to South Mountain and the Ahwatukee neighborhood.

Why they chose this property

We wanted a comfortable vacation home in Arizona our multi-generation family could use. We love the Mountains and the easy accessibility of the Ahwatukee area. We hope you enjoy Nine Palms as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

South Mountain is majestic and having a beautiful green park across the street from our home has a lot of appeal. We love the ease of single-floor living after years of living in 2-story houses. The sparkling pool and the lanai in our backyard sealed the deal.
