:::: IS OUR HOME A GOOD FIT FOR YOUR VACATION? ::::
Above all, we really love it when our guests have a wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing time at the cabin! Check out our reviews!

We are very accommodating and hospitable hosts, and our guests have always enjoyed their stay with us. Due to an unfortunate recent experience, we want to emphasize that we are ONLY PERMITTED FOR A MAXIMUM OF 2 PEOPLE OF ANY AGE AT ANY TIME. Our HOA prohibits RV parking (including camping/converted/"Sprinter" vans) for rental units. We love dogs; however, our HOA does not permit pets in rental units :(.

Due to immune system considerations of the homeowner (potential chemical transference to the furniture and pillows), fire regulations (we're in the forest), and the HOA Insurance Coverage, smoking is not permitted on the property (including cigarettes, cigars, vaping, and 420). If you use chewing tobacco, please be discreet and respectful at all times.

To monitor bear activity, snowfall, and deliveries, as well as provide for the security of our guests and property, our cabin is equipped with Ring camera devices at the front and back doors.

If you're amenable to these conditions and are looking for the perfect cozy retreat, COME ON UP TO TAHOE!

:::: TAHOE TIME ::::
As this is also our family retreat, you'll find it isn't just another typical vacation rental—it's truly a home away from home.

With quiet, full-time owners throughout the complex, this convenient, free-standing (no shared walls) cabin is a "getaway from it all" gem. We have been owners on this property since the early 80's!

This is bear country, so you might just see our local friend, Bernie the Bear. As long as you do not leave any food (or trash with any smells) outside the cabin, in your car, or near an open door/window, Bernie is just a huge (kinda smelly) fuzzball safely ambling by on the hunt for a picnic basket.

Just a few minutes' walk away, you'll find a quiet, semi-private forest setting with a year-round creek where you can soak up a little bit of the magic that makes up the Tahoe National Forest. It is a neighborhood favorite!

Centrally located, we're just a few minutes' drive away from the center of town, where you'll find coffee, groceries, shopping, and restaurants! Be sure to stop at the Potlatch store in Raley's center - they have a great selection of Tahoe memorabilia.

:::: ABOUT THE CABIN ::::
Enjoy the cozy living room, featuring a sofa, two recliners, a Smart TV, and a gas stove. The open floor plan features an adjacent dining area and kitchen. With three windows, the area is light and cozy, and affords lovely views of the trees.

The kitchen is equipped with a Keurig coffee pot, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, electric stove, and oven. Although there are typically some spices and condiments, we are unable to guarantee the quantity, quality, or variety. Please bring any must-have ingredients for your home-cooked meals. We provide a few starter pods of coffee to get you started.

The sunny, first-floor, large master bedroom has a California King bed (and another Smart TV) - it's an amazing spot to wake up in every day with a large window that looks out into the trees right off the back deck. The door to the back deck is right outside the bedroom.

The one full bath is located just across the hall from the primary bedroom, offering a tub/shower combo. Bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths for two people are provided. There is a starter supply of toilet paper (3 rolls), as well as some shampoo and conditioner, shower gel, and hand soap.

Relax on the sofa upstairs in the forward loft while reading, gaming, or watching a movie on the Smart TV. It's a lovely space that's open to the first floor, with high ceilings that highlight the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Wifi download speeds of 300 Mbps make it possible for Zoom calls with a virtual background (hint: so your boss won't even know you're in Tahoe!).

***** If you use the upstairs back bedroom, the cleaning service charges an extra $25 cleaning and linen service fee, which will be deducted from your deposit. It is a lovely, cozy room that offers a queen-size bed, sitting area, and a sliding glass door that looks out into the trees. We absolutely don't mind you using this bedroom (but hardly anyone does, so we don't unnecessarily increase the $25 cleaning fee automatically). Just let us know in advance so we can let the service know to bring extra linens when you check out. *****

::: WHAT TO BRING :::
Bring your personal care items, groceries, beach towels, and all beach gear (& snow gear, depending on the season). Although there is usually a small selection of spices and condiments, we are unable to guarantee their quantity or quality - be sure to bring anything you specifically need for a home-cooked meal. We have 3 grocery stores in town: Raley's, Grocery Outlet, and Natural Groceries (a little something for everyone).

::: WHAT TO DO WHILE YOU'RE HERE :::
Epic vacation memories await:
- bike/walk the famous East Shore Trail
- hike to Monkey Rock or Chickadee Ridge
- climb the rock wall at High Altitude Fitness
- bowl, dine, and enjoy great music at the *NEW* Incline Bowl (and more)
- gamble or enjoy an incredible spa day at the Hyatt
- skip the long lines at Starbucks and go to Drink Coffee Do Stuff (locals' tip)
- ski, snowshoe, and sledding sites all around (check out the Meadows)
... and SO much more! For the most up-to-date list of events (no matter which season you choose to visit), check out https://tahoe.com/incline-village

::: BEACH TIME :::
**** At this time, the private beaches in Incline Village are ordinance-restricted to homeowner / FT residents only. Thank you for understanding this isn't a preference on our part; it is the ordinance.****

Sand Harbor Beach (the beach featured in all the great North Tahoe photos for its beauty) requires reservations to help manage parking and traffic, but it is absolutely worth it! When driving to Sand Harbor from Incline, keep in mind that there are two entry points. The first entry point is for boats only, so stay to the left and proceed about 1/16th of a mile further to enter through the second entry point. Sometimes, when you pull into the boat parking lot (only to be turned around), it can be hard to get back out onto the highway into the line for the beach parking lot.

Perfect for us

Our Mother/Daughter trip was so fun and we enjoyed relaxing on the patio with coffee in the mornings and a cold beverage in the evening. The little trails behind the property with the flowing water was peaceful as well. The highlight of our stay was getting to see Bernie from the loft window.

Such a dream!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Vinnie’s cabin over Valentine’s Day weekend. It is in the perfect location and we could not get over how cozy it was. Incredible place to go for a weekend away! Very close to mountains for skiiing/hiking. Would without a doubt return any time of year. Additionally, Vinnie was super attentive and checked in throughout the weekend to make sure we had everything we needed. By far my favorite rental yet!

Little gem in the woods

A lovely cozy cabin for two tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Everything one needs during a short getaway was there. It was a perfect base for local hiking. We could really sit back and relax. The owner recommended a local Mexican restaurant which was very good. Best Mexican food we had in a long time. Altogether a perfect stay.

Very Comfortable, Quiet and Conveniently Located Cabin

This little cabin was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It has a grocery store and restaurants nearby but is located in a quiet secluded neighborhood. We enjoy hiking and found many trailheads within just a few minutes. The owners were very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful and inviting

We had a wonderful, memorable stay in this cabin surrounded by tall pines. Opening the windows provided a cool, crisp breeze even in July! The living room leather sofa and recliner were very comfortable. KIng size bed was comfy too. What I liked best was that it was so quiet! I would definitely return.

This has been our family retreat for nearly 3 decades ... our home away from home. We LOVE Incline Village (on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe) because it is the quieter, more beach and mountains-oriented side of the lake, with just a short drive to casinos and nightlife.

What makes this property unique

This isn't just a vacation rental ... it's where our family comes to enjoy Tahoe too. Our guests love the location and the homey vibe (check out our reviews)!
