House was very nice and roomy for our party of 7. The views were stellar. The house couldn't have been better. The only negative was the roads leading into the area are a lot of washboard which shakes you no matter what speed you travel
This house was just as pictured in the photos. Very beautiful Mountain views and a nice drive out from Denver. It’s about 40 minutes from Breckenridge so we were able to explore and do some activities on our trip. The elevation is extremely high - above 11,000ft, so come prepared with oxygen and make sure to leave time the first day or two so you can acclimate.
Enjoyed our recent stay for Spring Break week. Lots of snow and house accommodated our group of 6 with plenty of room to spare. Really appreciated that the property had a lot of closet/storage space and a 3 car heated garage. These are usually limited at other properties. House is at the end of a quiet street, so feels very secluded with great mountain views and the view of the stars on a clear night is incredible.
The house was nice I didn’t expect it was 3 floors. The views of the mountains were amazing. We came in the snow season so it was pretty awesome. The altitude did affect some of our friends. The only thing I would say is. It needs more TVs. At least one in the living room. Ps if you have any emergencies the host would not respond.

Obstructed view and more work than peace
House was cozy; however, the main floor picture window was obstructed with tape from glass broken. In addition, chains were required to get up and down mountain. Although shovels were provided, all entrances and steps leading up to the home had not been cleared prior to arrival. More work than peace:

Jana, we’re sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-"We're glad to hear that you found the home cozy, but we apologize for the slight window obstruction. Unfortunately, the window was cracked by a guest back in January and we've had a difficult time obtaining a new one due to supply issues. It has been ordered and now we are waiting on the installation which will hopefully be coming in the next couple of weeks.
-We have reached out to our property manager to ensure that he is staying on top of the snow. Thank you.
We appreciate you letting us know of your concerns as it gives us the means to improve and provide more 5-star experiences moving forward."

Best Mountain Stay Out There!
Wow, what a great place. The pictures are great but, you have to see this place to understand how great it is. In regards to the home, zero complaints. Everything was wonderful. I had no need to contact anyone for anything. Everything was provided to include a surplus of kitchen items, toiletries, linen, heating options and comfort items. They had multiple games on site, DVDs, cable, wifi, a hot tub, sauna, work out area, and plenty of room for privacy for the entire family. The master bathroom is a 5 piece master bath with a soaking tub that fits two. The beds are all comfortable, the bedding was very cozy. We loved the sitting room option on the main floor with the fireplace, which heats up the house so we'll. The town of Fairplay actually made me want to move there as everyone was extremely nice and it was addicting. (I live in Colorado and was very surprised on the vibe of this small town feel) I would definitely check out the museum!I did read some reviews where people complained about altitude. As for someone who lives in Colorado and vacations here, I would recommend they simply read the elevation or map the location of where they are renting. Definitely not worth giving someone a lower rating! This house, anywhere, is 5 star worthy. (The woodwork alone in this house makes me want to befriend them) :)Thank you so much for your hospitality and sharing your wonderful home.
Great place, but if you go in spring or winter you MUST have show chains. My 4x4 truck barely made it and saw three other people stuck on the way up so please do yourself a favor and get snow chains for your tires. The views were amazing too. Lots of annoying signs in the house but hey I understand it’s not my place. Great time and definitely recommend!
The property manager was very responsive and accommodating. The home and the location are BEAUTIFUL. Lots of snow, the views are dreamy. Definitely worth the drive from Breckenridge especially if you want space, peace, and quiet. Stocked with all the basics and very clean. We loved it and would love to come back on a future ski trip.

A great retreat!
Our group had a wonderful weekend at this property to start the New Year off right! Off the beaten path and away from crowds, we were perfectly content enjoying the home's amenities and each other's company.
This home was well stocked with all of the essentials, which was pleasantly surprising for a rental. All of the rooms were cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was clean and a great way to spend an afternoon.
The altitude surprised us all as most of us are Denver natives, but take it easy and you'll be alright.
We were so fortunate to find this place and spend some much needed time together in the new year. You can tell there's a lot of love and care that goes into it.

Christmas stay in Colorado
We really enjoyed our stay! This is a great place for a family get together. The kitchen was well stocked with pantry and refrigerator items. Sitting in front of the fireplace is a joy on cold days. The heated garage was very nice for a December visit. The roads were icy and snow packed but Phil does a great job of keeping them clear. The location is at about 11,000 feet so you need to be prepared for less oxygen than what you are used to.
Beautiful house, nice, clean and just the right size for all of us. (9) Great place to escape and relax from the busy city life and not too far from Breckenridge either.
We were so happy with our stay at this beautiful location. The house is exactly as pictured and stocked extremely well for their guests. The views were breathtaking. The location is convenient to many nearby towns, hikes and fishing. The road to the house is not in the best condition; however we did not experience any trouble with any of our trips back and forth.
This property itself is nearly flawless! Beautiful views, gorgeous house and great amenities. The road up to the house is nothing less than an adventure ( make sure your vehicle has great tires and shocks and 4 wheel drive is a good option to have). All beds were super comfy and the linens were great. It’s nice to be out in the country on the mountain yet have Fairplay so close and easily accessible for all needs. It took many of us quite a while to get used to the altitude (some of us didn’t adjust at all); but even with the altitude sickness, it wasn’t bad enough to slow anyone down. Definitely recommend and would absolutely stay again!!
Home was beautiful, my family enjoyed the views and all the amenities! Property manager answered my every call & all questions. Big thank you to owners for allowing us to enjoy their home, it was just what we needed!
Our stay was great and the home was spacious and clean with plenty of amenities. Check in and out process was easy and instructions documented for you. Evolve manages this property and my contact (Phil) did not answer any questions I had. I asked questions a week before and followed up 5 times and he ignored he and every one of my messages. I will also say that the hot tub did not warm up past 98 degrees which is disappointing and rendered the hot tub useless as there was a winter storm during our stay. Other than that, it was pretty awesome.
