What a wonderful getaway! This place felt like a home-away-from home with all the ameneties.Katie was a great host and this place is so comfy and cool! we will be back for sure! Don't forget to shop at her store!!The location was perfectly placed.
Our host Katie was very welcoming. The house is absolutely adorable. Had everything that we needed and then some. There is a little store called Paws Produce on the property that has a variety of canned goods like jam, stuffed olives and Alaska salmon. Katie has her photography on the walls and some that are available for purchase. We came away with a beautiful photo of a loon landing on the water. We will definitely stay there again!
I had a lovely, lovely weekend stay in this beautiful location. The surrounding landscapes are stunning, and the stargazing at night was so soothing and peaceful. The house was very comfortable and clean, with all the basic kitchen items needed to do some light cooking and make morning coffee. It's a few miles south of Oroville, where I was able to buy groceries for the weekend. There are many nearby lakes with swimming options, so I took advantage of that. And I loved the little store attached to the orchard! I bought some delicious treats to eat during the weekend, and I brought home some peaches and blueberries. Katie was welcoming and helpful and kind both before I arrived and during the weekend. It was truly the relaxing getaway that I needed, and I would love to go back next year.
Had a great stay in this clean, easy to access property. Katie met us upon arrival and gave us the keys. Was super responsive and respectful. We would definitely stay again.
Katy has made this space perfect for hanging and relaxing or a well-equipped jumping off point to explore the Okanagan Valley. We love it and will be back!
Clean, cozy, quiet, private - fabulous location! We really enjoyed the shady yard, coffee on the covered veranda in the mornings, and so much to do in the area. Thanks Katie!
Katie was such a kind person- - we loved her!
The home was immaculate and extremely comfortable
The setting was beautiful --huge old shade trees and immaculate lawn
The stay was absolutely perfect! The main cabin and dry cabin were incredibly comfortable, spotless and beautifully decorated. The amenities were exactly as described. The laundry machines inside the main cabin were much appreciated.
At checkin, we were warmly welcomed by Katie Wheat. Katie is delightful and she made us feel like old friends. She was available to us via text and phone call throughout our stay as well as respected our privacy. Her property is absolutely gorgeous and is not to be missed!
I highly recommend Katie and her stunning property to all travelers. We plan to stay there again when our travels take us to the area.
I stayed with my wife for two nights in this cozy, charming property. The unit was recently renovated, nicely stocked and very comfortable for the two of us. The BBQ was great for cooking a couple of nice dinners, and Netflix was available so we could watch a movie in the evening.
Katie was great to deal with. Check-in was a breeze, and she was very helpful. She also has a store on site with great products, and we actually bought some nice sockeye salmon for one of our dinners.
Overall, we had a pleasant and restful stay and were happy to have stayed at this place.

Very cozy and relaxing
While here we drove to Canada for lunch (only five miles away), we also hiked the Whistler Canyon trail which is very nice and gives great views, we took Katie's row boat out for a circle of her pond and looked at turtles and birds. This place was very quiet and secluded, fruit trees about 25 feet from the door. All the facilities were up to snuff. We also went up to the Molson Ghost town, lots of things to do, lots of places to go fishing and gold mining! HA! When we first got there Katie gave us fresh peaches and we had them on ice cream- and remember to look at the stars after dark---
We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a beautiful restful setting. A drive on our second day brought us to a museum with lots of old farming equipment, which we really enjoyed. Our host was very helpful and we enjoyed corn, peaches, and apricots she had available.0
