The apartment is very bright and comfortable, and it is located in one of the most authentic areas of Florence, just 100 meters away from the beautiful Boboli garden. It is equipped with air conditioned, kitchen, washing machine, tv, wi-fi. The apartment is perfect for a single or a couple but also ideal for a family as there is a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. At your arrival you will also find coffee, tea, jam and biscuits for a little breakfast. My name is Alessio and I've been living in Florence since I was born. I live with my wife Costanza and with my two children, 8 and 6 years old. I'm an architect and I really love my city. I hope the people that come to visit Florence could develop the same passion for a place where the past is so full of history and where you can feel that the men who built it are still leaving among as.
Why they chose this property
We have been living in this area of Florence since our first son was born. One yer ago we bought a bigger house and we decided to rent a part of it. We love very much this area and we choose it because is a place where there still is some green but in the same time you can feel you are living in an ancient city.
What makes this property unique
We think that the place where we live is a perfect place to visit Florence. We are just near the historic district of Santo Spirito and San Frediano, known for its authentic atmosphere and lively quarters. The Oltrarno is the meeting place of excellence for intellectuals, artists and bohémiens. Piazza S. Spirito is one of the most beautiful square of Florence and also the only square of Oltrarno where a foods and clothes market is held each day; once in the month an organic agriculture market and an antiquarian market are also held here. It is quite near to the city centre, that you can reach by foot, but you can still find the real Florence here.
