David is a super host. The property was well maintained and very clean, including the pool and the hot tub. During our stay , we experienced the northeastern storm and David communicated often while providing updates. We ended up stuck on the island longer than anticipated. David was very understanding and considerate and worked with us by allowing us to stay until RT 12 was reopened so we could get off the islandWe would gladly rent from David again

The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The pool and hot tub are well maintained. The beach walk wasn't too long, and the neighborhood was safe and peaceful. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay at Sunnyside Up again.

Very nice stay

Great location lovely house with really nice touches. Enjoyed the pool area and large outdoor shower. Easy walk to beach. The town has everything you need close by but it’s also an easy drive to busier areas.

A private, relaxing stay!

Our family of four loved our week at the beach house! It had everything we needed and was close to the ORV beach access points. We were able to easily walk to the beach when we wanted to, and we enjoyed the pool at some point every day. We’d definitely stay here again!

Fun and relaxing

Great house that is walkable to the beach. Very clean and in good shape. Nice floor plan with a closed in front porch area that adds living area. Property has been kept up well with nice pool area.

Quiet, relaxing beach home

We absolutely loved staying at this beach house! It was exactly what we were looking for... quiet neighborhood, easy beach access, private pool and hot tub and a private yard. House was clean, beds comfortable and it had everything we needed. We are looking forward to returning to this house again in the future!

Loved this house. It was so comfortable and larger than I expected. Extremely clean and the decor was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and the owner was great to work with. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Short Anniversary Trip to New Area in OBX

So much more beautiful and peaceful then expected. We’ve only ever stayed right on the beach in condo with our two kids. First time staying down in this area and loved it so much more. House is located in perfect area and nice and secluded.

Excellent home and location

This house is well cared for, clean, and has great access to the beach as well as the convenience of a private pool. The bedrooms are furnished really well and efficiently so that space is maximized. We will definitely return.

Third Time is a Charm

Clean, all the basic amenities, the pool and hot tub are simply delightful, well situated, this was my third trip here. I ❤️ Sunnyside Up and the Outer Banks.

A Perfect Beach House with a Pool

We had such a nice a stay at this beach house! It had all the amenities we needed and more. The pool was small but plenty big for our family of four. We loved the hot tub, too. It was easy to reach the owner and he made sure we had everything we needed. A perfect stay!

Wonderful property and beach getaway

Excellent location to the beach, relaxing and private pool area with hot tub and a well appointed kitchen! Thoughtful and practical decor to enhance your stay including board games/books and an amazing sun room that our family loved! Walk or bike to a local ice cream shop too!

Amazing Get Away

It was exactly what we needed. A nice quiet stay with friendly neighbors, our kids got to play with the other kids. The beach access was at the end of the street. We had a great time there, I hope to go back again.

Well cared for home shows pride in ownership. Well appointed and clean inside and out! Perfect location and access to beach path was fantastic. Our overall experience was far greater than any we’ve had in 25 years of visiting OBX!

Great Stay and Even Better Owner

Beautiful place. Great communication with the owner. Felt like I could call them with any problems we may have had but we didn’t have any. Lol. Perfect house for a family to enjoy all OBX has to offer.

Pool by the ocean

Great property! Very clean upon arrival. Short walk to beach. Terrific private pool for when it was too windy at beach. Loved the front porch area - it was air conditioned so it was great to eat out there, do yoga or just enjoy coffee in rocking chairs! Can’t wait to go back!

We loved it!

Nice property in Salvo

A very nice house with everything we needed. Well equipped and comfortable beds. An easy walk to the beach helped by a cart which was available, alongwith chairs and body boards. Thank you for making your home available to us.

We really enjoyed Salvo, Avon, and Hatteras! Enjoyed walks on the beach, exploring shops, restaurants, and lounging by the pool. Loved the front porch!!

Just what we needed!

This property is perfect for a family getaway. We loved being close to the beach and the house had everything we needed, chairs, wagon to carry to everything over, buckets. Also, having our own pool was awesome, we used it almost everyday. The location was close to some great places to eat and things to do, but still very peaceful and quiet. We will be back again!

Lovely private hideaway in quiet area of Salvo. Beautiful pool, very clean home. Washer/dryer always a +, and hotvtun enjoyed by my girls almost every night.

Great home away from home

We had a wonderful stay. The house was well appointed and clean. Excellent communication with the owner. There were lots of little extras that made the stay so much nicer (like the beach wagon and extra beach chairs). It felt like we were visiting someone’s home, not a sterile rental. It really was a cute little house with a rockin AC. Would definitely recommend for small families or two couples with a few little ones.

Amazing

Definitely in the top 5 rentals we have stayed in as a family, best and cleanest in OBX. All the amenities were wonderful, hottub,pool, full kitchen, books and games. Washing off from the beach was made easy with an easily accessible hose or outdoor shower with warm water. Thank you for sharing your home with us- we’d love to come back
