We had a great stay. Everything we needed was there. The views of Bisbee were great. Could walk to the hiking trail to the hills around town. Overall very nice stay!
Check in was super easy. The host was responsive. The house was great and the view was amazing. My only caution would be that if someone has trouble with stairs, this is not the right place. Otherwise, incredible.
Very sweet cabin, within walking distance to the galleries, restaurants, and all the best that Bisbee offers. The second story deck was a beautiful way to enjoy Bisbee's dark sky community, with a glass of wine in hand. The owners were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.
This property is conveniently located downtown and has a huge deck with amazing views. We enjoyed wine in the evening and coffee in the morning on the deck.
The property was lovely, and everything that was explained before hand was perfect. I will definitely contact this property owner again for a future visit. We were able to walk to just about everything we wanted to do, Perfect location.
Two bedrooms, two baths and the location make this place great for entertaining friends. The stone fireplace, interesting beam work and spectacular view from the deck are the features that we enjoyed. Our host, Brenda, was immediately responsive and remedied the situation when the TV remote did not work.
We were forced to leave and return to our home early due to the covid-19 situation. Although we didn't ask, the unused portion of our rent was refunded. Thank you, Brenda.
Amazing experience from beginning to end!!
When I had read some of the reviews prior to our visit, and commented to the owners on a concern about the bed, the owners bought a new bed In time for our visit!
The house is darling, the town is so fun, and the weather was a perfect getaway out of our native Wisconsin! We definitely plan to be back!
This home is so easy to move into - no stairs to climb. It is very comfortable and convenient for getting around all over Bisbee. This is our second stay there and we'll come back some other time and stay there again. They're dog friendly as well. Love the deck and the spiral staircase! It is a wonderful place to stay!
The details on the site were very accurate. It was nice not having stairs to pull our suitcases up to the house. You can drive and park right at the door .The staircase up to the magnificent bedroom is doable and there are also outside stairs a person could use. We made alot of our meals there and everything was sufficient. We would like to come back.
Older home that has been updated nicely, is clean and well-maintained. Quiet area with great views. Spiral staircase leading to upstairs master suite may be difficult to climb by anyone with mobility issues. Walking (up and down gradients) distance to downtown and other interesting parts. Recommend printing a street map to rental before arriving in Bisbee --it is a small town, but might be difficult to navigate for first-timers.
We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. It is well furnished and has a beautiful deck with a view over the valley. It is perched right above the Main Street of Bisbee, which is accessible via a nearby staircase that comes out right in the middle of Bisbee’s cute shops, cafes and quirky stores. Check-in was easy, everything was just as represented on-line.
This property is in an excellent location. So convenient to be able to walk to everything in just a few mins. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We can’t wait to stay here again!!!
We are a family living in the Seattle area. We love VRBO and have had great experiences! We enjoy traveling and think vacation rentals are a great alternative to hotels. Our style of travel ranges from camping to vacation rentals to finding fun boutique hotels to spoil ourselves every now and again. We enjoy hiking and checking out local eats. Paul and Brenda have travelled separately and together. We each spent a year studying abroad in college (Seville, Spain and Florence, Italy). Paul has lived in all four corners of the US, as well as, a few years in Mexico City, MX, while Brenda has spent the majority of her life in the wonderful Pacific Northwest.
As far as hosts, we are pretty hands off (since we live in Seattle!) but are happy to answer any questions and give suggestions for things to do in and around Bisbee. Paul's mom, Cathy, is a local artist and is a wealth of knowledge. She has lived mainly in Bisbee for the past 40 years.
Paul and Brenda have traveled both separately and together and plan to instill a love of travel in their children over the years. Paul went to Washington State University, studied abroad in Seville, Spain, and received a degree in Communications. He now works as a Marketing Director in Family Entertainment. Brenda attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, studied abroad in Florence, Italy, and obtained a degree in Special Education. She taught for 8 years and currently manages their vacation rentals and spends the days with their spunky children.
Why they chose this property
Paul spent many summers running amok in the town of Bisbee. With his mother still residing there, Bisbee is a wonderful place for them to escape the bigger city. Bisbee is such a charming and fun place with the option to explore and adventure or just sit back and relax.
