The Sugar Maple cabin is located in the Hocking Hills and is about 6 miles from downtown Logan and approximately 25 minutes from the Hocking Hills State Parks. Only 2 miles from Boch Hollow State Nature Preserve.

This cozy cabin sleeps 1-2 people with a King bed. It is equipped with a full kitchen, outdoor hot tub, gas grill, fire ring, gas fireplace, indoor Jacuzzi tub, Wifi and satellite television.

Fishing ponds are available for use. No fishing license required.

MUST have Four wheel drive vehicle in the winter months.

No Pets Allowed.

Must be 21 years old to reserve and you may not rent for another party.

This cozy little cabin in the woods was perfect our stay! We enjoyed hiking in the area, local food establishments, and taking a class at a glass-blowing studio. The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after our busy days! Thanks for such an amazing place for us to relax and rejuvenate!

Hocking hills cabin

We are return customers to this property. It has everything you would need for a romantic couples weekend. Both indoor and outdoor hottubs. Unfortunately the weather was really terrible for our weekend this year so we could not explore all the things to see and do in hocking hills

Cozy Getaway

Rented this cute open floor plan cabin to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. It was perfect. Clean and cozy with hot tub outside with a beautiful view and jacuzzi tub inside with room for two. The bed was big and super comfortable. We ate some awesome food, made in the gas grill and just really enjoyed the quiet and peacefulness of the area. It was a great place to relax and rejuvenate and spend some quality time together.

Sugar Maple Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sugar Maple Cabin. The cabin was the perfect getaway we needed to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The cabin itself was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The communication with the host was excellent. My only regret is that we did not book a longer stay. 10/10. Highly recommend!

Awesome cabin

I used the Sugar Maple cabin as a base camp to hike Hocking Hills. It was perfect. The cabin was cozy. It was fairly clean with the exception of the sofa pullout bed. There were popcorn and other particles that had fallen through the cracks of the cushion. I would definitely recommend Bear Run Cabins and I would return again.

Much needed quality time

My husband and I were celebrating our 12yr wedding anniversary (23yrs together) and wanted a much needed getaway. We both have hectic and busy schedules and just wanted to celebrate this year differently. This cabin was just what we wanted and needed. It was so quiet. The hot tub was so relaxing. We enjoyed just sitting out on the porch and put some steaks on the skill. We took a walk through Old Man's Cave which was only a 20 minute drive from the cabin. The cabin was clean, the bed was comfortable and the inside jacuzzi/tub was perfect for the 2 of us. We will definitely rent this cabin again the spring. Thank you for an amazing stay.

4 tv remotes no instructions

Ok but had to carry my trash home had to wash all the dishes had to gather up towels and place in hamper if check out 15 minutes late $100 penalty big fine if move furniture no bubble bath for indoor hot tub no handle in inside hot tub very small tub at 72 years old I finally made it out of the tub after 10 minutes trying. Slight gas smell? 4,remotes for tv with no instructions besides these things everything was perfect.

Thank you for the review George. I’m sorry you took the trash home. The check out instructions provided in your cabin say you can either take it to the dumpster or leave it at the cabin and maintenance will pick it up. There is a dishwasher in that facility so all we ask is you start the dishwasher upon leaving, we ask you place towels in hampers or bath tub so wet towels aren’t left on carpeted areas and soak the carpet, we ask you don’t move furniture as we have had many damages due to guests moving large furniture items and damaging the floor, we are not a hotel so we do not provide bubble bath (We do provide two bars of soap and many other bathroom amenities), the hot tub is designed for 2-4 guests (I’m sorry it wasn’t larger), if you smelled any type of gas it was most likely from the gas fireplace (either you folks may have had it running or the guests that checked in before you did and unfortunately gas fireplaces will leave a slight gas smell after they have been running) and all the instructions for wifi and remotes are in the guest directory which is left right on the kitchen table when you walk in. We never heard from you at all during your stay and we send out a text before arrival to please reach out if you have any questions (it also says this in your confirmation email). We would have been happy to let you know where all of the instructions were located. I hate to also mention that you folks left a horrible mess in that facility. You were only at the cabin for one evening and our cleaning staff couldn’t believe the condition it was in from a one night stay. We were kind enough not to leave you a review at all instead of letting other lodging owners see how you leave other peoples property. We sincerely hope in the future you don’t leave another property in that condition.

Wonderful Hospitality rarely seen

The cabin was extremely clean, adorable and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, enjoyed meeting everyone we met while on our trip. Minor hiccup arised during our stay and the Myers family took care of it and kept us well informed. We can’t wait to go back and visit the Sugar Maple cabin!
