Family & Pet Friendly Retreat

Let the stress of your life end and the adventure of vacation begin, the minute you pull into the drive way. Set away from the road and surrounded by trees this is the perfect coastal escape. Adorable 3 bedroom/2bath beach cottage. Lots of space when you first walk in the door, with an open kitchen/family room plan. Kitchen bar that seats 5 and table/chairs for 4. After dinner enjoy the backyard Gas fire pit with swings ,hammock and lots of privacy .If you would like to sit and watch TV and enjoy the firepit in the front of the house and enjoy watching your dogs in fence you have a perfect sitting area . Has totally Fenced in Yard for your 4 legged family member. The deck is gated as well but has access to the fenced yard so you don't have to ever worry about your dog getting out. You can relax on the porch or under the gathering area outside and watch your babies or baby play in the yard
Ready for bed, no problem, there are two queen beds and a set of double bunk beds which gives plenty of room for every family member to stretch out and have a space of their own. There is a TV in every bedroom/family room and Wifi throughout. Take your pick, walk in shower or shower/tub combo. Cool features of this house include a large front porch(with dog gate) to sit on after a full fun filled day at the beach, or walk around and grill out on the back patio. Want to go "totally island", try the outdoor shower, you'll never want to shower inside again. Very short walk to the beach, but just in case you need some extra hands, we have a beach caddy. And don't forget to use our Men's/Women's/Children's bikes to take a ride to the the local ice cream parlor after dinner.
Bring your clothes because that is about all you will need. sheets, towels, beach towels, chairs are all included. Lots of parking, so pack up and we will see you at Emerald Isle. Blue sky, white sand, beautiful ocean awaits.

Small but charming, comfortable, well-appointed and tastefully decorated. We all enjoyed it and would love to go back. Kids loved the swings, hammock and bikes, and pup loved the fenced in yard and gated porch.

2025 Family Get away

The house was perfect inside and outside. The kitchen was well equipped just like being at home. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard and there were plenty of places to sit outside. The house was very clean and it easily accommodated 4 adults and our dog. We will definitely return again.

Great Spot for a Vacation

A good time was had by all. Great location - close to the beach, groceries, and a pleasant neighborhood. We enjoyed the outdoor areas, especially the front porch and our four-legged family member loved the fenced yard. Highly recommend. Thanks, Em, for the use of Beach Bound.

Another Memory Making Trip

This is our third time staying at Beach Bound and it has become a home away from home. Our yellow lab and golden retriever agree. We love how close it is the beach, shopping, and restaurants. There have been several great upgrades over the years and I appreciate how well stocked it is. It’s always super clean as well- you would never know it was pet friendly. We enjoy going to Rucker John’s, the aquarium, and Beaufort Parasailing. Mini golf is in walking distance and always fun. We made many great memories on this trip and wish we didn’t have to leave.

Patio Paradise

Wonderful property equipped with everything you could want and more. The outdoor seating options were endless, and the beach was a short walk away. We greatly enjoyed our vacation time at this beautiful property.

Perfect holiday getaway

This rental was absolutely perfect for a quick Christmas getaway with our dogs! The house was incredibly clean and well-appointed. Emma really has thought of everything anyone might need to enjoy their stay here. Just a quick walk down the street to the beach, a quick drive to grocery, coffee seafood shops and restaurants. Will definitely book again!

We were in town for a wedding, but made a vaca out of it. The house was awesome. Well stocked and owner was awesome. Neighbors were friendly too. Great setup! Lots to do at the house and short walk to beach!

Perfect choice

The house was the perfect choice for traveling with pets and for the location, being close to the beach and close to relatives also at the beach. The host provided everything and was very attentive to ensure we had everything we needed. This will definitely be our first choice for future stays at EI.

Great Again

This was the second stay at Em's place. It is at a great location, convenient to just about everything. A short walk to the beach, Fish Hut, CVS etc. Everything we needed was provided and the utility closet was full of beach supplies like chairs, umbrellas, etc. Thank you Em!

Wonderful Weekend!

The property was clean, welcoming and well stocked. The owner had left some dog supplies including shampoo which was very helpful when we returned from the beach with our 9 month old sandy, salty, wet puppy. Owner checked in on us to make sure we arrived safely and had all we needed. We loved the house and will be returning in the future.

Lilly's Escape (ha ha)

The property and location were great, lots of outside options and short walk to the great beach. Property had everything you needed and was clean and ready to go. Owner was fantastic, our young beagle escaped her cage and then had an issue with the blinds, Mary was great about the damage and worked with us to resolve. Would stay again but prehaps not with the dogs :)

Pet friendly vacation

This is our second visit to this cottage. We love that it is pet friendly. You can relax on the gated front porch in the morning and grill out in the backyard in the evening. There is an outside place to lounge in the evening too. Highly recommend this cottage. We rented a golf cart from Emerald Golf Cart and used that to run around the area. This cottage is a 5 minute walk to the water.

Wonderful experience

Perfect beach cottage. House was clean and ready when we arrived. The owners show they really care about their home and those who rent it, so eager to please. The house is in a great location! Many extras. Lots of parking for boats and cars! We certainly will return.

Wonderful spring break at Beach Bound!

Our family of 4 humans 2 doggies had another wonderful week at Beach Bound. This is our second time staying here and we will be back again! The house is great, so many things are provided - toiletries, all linens (including beach towels!), paper towels, toilet paper, all soaps, etc. Very comfy beds. It’s super dog friendly and has a great fenced in yard and porch. The dogs loved hanging outside listening to the birds and watching the cats across the street. I think our favorite thing was the outside shower! Easy walk to the beach (just down the road) and she provides carts, chairs, umbrellas, and toys. The beach was not crowded at all for being spring break. The internet was a bit spotty for us (esp if we were all on devices) but we made it work. Thanks Mary for sharing your house with us. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything you need!

Our family of five had such a wonderful time at this awesome, pet-friendly home. It was perfect for what we needed. When we arrived, there was even water in a dog bowl waiting for our pup. It is just a short walk to the beach and so close to restaurants and shops. They have multiple bikes and it was so fun to ride for ice cream in the evenings. The firepit was also a nice touch and we made s'mores on the patio one evening. The owner checked in with us and was so attentive and kind. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be back!

Wonderful beach getaway for family (with dog)

We had four wonderful days at Beachbound. The house was super clean and very well equipped with everything we needed for the family: plenty of plates, glasses, dishes, as well as bikes, buggy boards, beach chairs, outdoor shower, fire pit, hammocks, grill, doggie dishes, etc. Check in could not have been easier and check out was the same. The beach was a short walk down the street and the dog was allowed on the beach (leashed). The kids loved hanging out in the hammocks, enjoyed smores on the fire pit and tried out the buggy boards, even though the water was still pretty cold. Mary was a great host and very friendly. We will definitely check availability here again next time we're planning a beach trip. Thank you!

I have lived on Emerald Isle for almost 10 years and have had a second home here for almost 25 years.. I fell in love with the small town atmosphere and family friendly beach community... I bought this house less than 6 months ago with the intent of hoping families and family pets could enjoy a week of vacation with less stress of leaving your other family member at home alone..

Why they chose this property

Everyone should be able to bring there 4 legged family members with them on a "FAMILY " Vacation .. So here is the perfect place to make memories.. You are within walking distance of EVERYTHING :: Bike path , Shopping, Eating , Pier , Beach , Sound, Movies... Drug Stores. Once you arrive you will have no need for your Car.. you can walk or BIKE to EVERYTHING...

What makes this property unique

PET friendly , Fully furnished down to the Beach Chairs and Beach towels, Beach caddies
Location is everything .. You are less than 1/2 block to beach , less than 1/2 mile to Grocery Stores and Restaurants, Movies, Bike Path, Pier , Shopping . You will not have to drive anywhere .. All is within walking or biking distance of Cottage . Newly added lighted backyard with fire Pit. Swings for kids and adults.
