Spacious, comfortable and warm house with stunning sea views
The house is situated in the hamlet of Dunquin at the tip of the Dingle Peninsula, backing onto rolling hills, facing onto the Atlantic Ocean, staring at the Great Blasket Island. There are beautiful beaches, scenic drives, walks, and a host of archeological remains in this area. Dingle Town, 20 mins drive away, is a lively place year round. The house is situated at the end of a quiet laneway in an acre of grassy garden, plenty of room to run around. Spacious and comfortable, well stocked with every necessity, it is a home from home. Lovely views from the living and dining areas, and two of the bedrooms. The house has 2 fireplaces and is warm and welcoming even in winter.

We had a wonderful time exploring the Dingle peninsula with Dunquin as our base.
Fantastic home and ocean views! Highly recommend this home for a true Ireland getaway!
Beautiful location ,magnificent views, wonderful residence and property ….
Amazing! Much to see and do …, make sure you arrive before evening.Location is on narrow road directly across from Blasket center entrance, hope to stay here again in future
The house is gorgeous, with high-quality furnishings throughout and the view of the Great Blasket Island is unsurpassed. My wife, mother-in-law, and two young children greatly enjoyed our week-long stay despite the challenging weather.
Our first visit to Fennessy’s Find was 25 years ago with our parents and kids. We returned this time with our kids and their kids. Spectacular house, breathtaking views, charming area. Dingle has so much to offer and this lovely home provides the perfect base.Would return again in a heartbeat.
Wonderful , warm well equipped house with outstanding views of Blasket islands .
The photos cannot do justice to either the wonderful house or breathtaking views . We spent a great week in Sheelaghs house We arrived on a dark and rainy afternoon but the weather was fast forgotten on stepping into such a warm and welcoming house . There was plenty of room for everyone to find their own space to relax. Luckily we had good weather for most of our stay and took full advantage of the great garden and nearby amenities. There is do much to do and see with great walks at your doorstep. It is truly a wonderful, well equipped house in a stunning location. Thanks Sheelagh and for your local tips and advice .

Wonderful Vacation House
The description of this house does not do it the justice it deserves. It is comfortable and homey; well appointed and spacious. The view from the front yard and windows is simply spectacular. We loved exploring the surrounding area, but also enjoyed staying at the house and reading books, and having the children play in the large front yard. Do stock up on food items in Dingle -- then you won't have to leave the house for days and can enjoy the end of the Dingle peninsula. We stayed in many houses during our three weeks in Ireland, this house was by far our favorite. There are many things do to in the area. We loved our day on the Blasket Islands most of all.
To say that we did not want to leave this home is an understatement. Dunquin and the beauty of the Dingle peninsula and the Blasket Islands left us spellbound and planning a return trip before we had even checked out. The views out all of the west windows are jaw dropping and many of the other views are pretty incredible as well (whether looking over a sheep field or the surrounding countryside). The home was comfortable and a great fit for our family as we cooked most of our meals. I loved how Sheelagh has interspersed local art to showcase the culture, beauty and history of this part of Ireland. If you love hiking, photography or just wide-open spaces, spend the majority of your time on this side of the peninsula. Though we had fun in Dingle town (multiple games played at the chip and putt course across from downtown), on a return trip I would limit that to a max of two days and just explore the trails, vistas and other towns of the peninsula. The road that leads to the laneway to the home is directly across from the entrance to The Blasket Center (don't follow the pinned directions from VRBO as that will take you in the wrong direction). We found the center's cafe a lovely place to grab breakfast or lunch (note no real breakfast options for those with common food allergens though). You're around the corner from Dunquin Pier and its amazing views. Tips for future guests: pack your own washcloths and a sharp chef's knife (if you're traveling locally) and arrive before dark.
We stayed for 2 weeks this aug. It’s by far the best house we have every rented. The homely feel from the min you walk in. The house is very well maintained with tons of extras like fully stocked kitchen equipment, bike if you want to go cycle and plenty of sea equipment. Full utility and internet with Crome case a must for the kids
The view from every window is breathtaking. The owners where very helpful and replied very quickly with any questions. I will be back. We had a wonderful stay.
Superb location to discover the beautiful walks and scenery along the Dingle Way. The views from the house of the Blasket Islands are truly spectacular and the house is perfect to sit and watch the ever changing landscape. The house is spacious yet homely and comfortable with a really well equipped kitchen (loved the local pottery). Would highly recommend to anyone hoping to explore this beautiful part of Ireland.
Absolutely perfect. Beautiful location and really comfortable house.
The host was a pleasure to deal with. The house is in a beautiful location with stunning views. It had everything we needed and is very well fitted out. We would recommend renting this house. We spent a week there. There’s lots to do in the area. Hill walking, boat trips, beach activities and many more. Highly recommended.
We had an amazing time here , the house was perfect, clean and well equipped for anything you could need. A great spot for exploring the peninsula and lovely and cozy when the fog rolls in ! We would definitely come back again .
We had a wonderful stay - out of the way in a beautiful location with views toward the Atlantic and Blasket Islands. Easy access to walking/hiking trails for all levels of activity. We very much enjoyed the well stocked "cooks kitchen" with everything needed to prepare any meal. Great host, clear and quick communication for any question we had. Wouldn't hesitate a return visit!
The views from the house out across the Blasket Islands and the Atlantic are truly amazing! House well equipped and beds v comfortable. Great walks from the door. Highly recommended.
Dear Sheelagh, thank you very much for letting us appreciate your wonderful house!
It has been a "safe harbour" during our trip in Dingle Peninsula.
Sight from the kitchen and the living door is simply spectacular...
looking froward to come to Dunquin asap
all the best

Wonderful cosy home, amazing location & views
Honestly I can’t recommend this home enough. My friends and I had a truly wonderful New Years stay in Fenessy’s Find.
There were 10 of us and when we arrived we were a little worried about the space but we shouldn’t have been! There’s plenty of bedroom and living space and even when we were all in one room we were all still comfortable. The house is really well stocked with crockery, spices, coffee & tea etc which was a pleasant surprise. You can tell that the home is used and loved by the family as there’s lots of games and beach equipment, but despite this it was very clean, tidy and looked like it had been recently done up. The nicest bathrooms/ kitchen I’ve seen in a rental cottage.
Location wise you do need a car. Its 20mins drive to dingle town, 5 mins to the nearest beach, about 1hr 15mins from Kerry airport. Lots of great walks you can do from the house itself.
And I have to mention the views. Everyone should stay here for the views alone. Straight out the kitchen windows are the Blasket Islands! We were blessed with clear weather and so got to stare at them every day of our stay. So beautiful the photos cannot do it justice.
Thank you for having us in your wonderful home!! We all fully plan on coming back many times in the future! Planning on booking again soon for summer this time :)

A very high quality property in a stunning location!
The location is beautiful - the house looks out over the sea and the Blasket Islands. Absolutely stunning. There are many walks straight from the house and many more within a short drive. Dingle is an easy 20 min drive. The house is of the highest quality - very spacious, very well-maintained and extremely well-equipped. We mostly ate at home and were able to cook ourselves a range of meals - not always possible with houses with more limited kitchens. We would love to come back.

Light, cosy with stunning views
As a serial renter of holiday homes, I think this is a corker. Not only is it finished to a very high spec, it is charming, comfortable and cosy. It adapts to all weathers incredibly well, and the area is simply outstanding for landscape, walking, wonderful food and culture. Whatever the weather and whatever the time of year, this house delivers in spades. Fabulous.

Stunning location, charming house with everything you could need.
We have been renting this house over many years and are now on our third owner. It has recently had several major improvements, in particular the kitchen is vastly improved and affords a wonderful living space with stunning views over Great Blaskett Island.
I cannot think that there is a nicer house for rent in magical Dun Quinn and have no hesitation in recommending others to experience the stunning scenery and walking opportunities its location provides.

Perfect holiday house in ideal location on Dingle
You are lucky if you find this house for your holiday on the Dingle peninsula. It has perfect views over the Blasket Islands. It is very comfortable and spacious; and well appointed. It is much used by the family and does not feel like a rental holiday house. It is clean, warm - plenty of hot water and a lovely kitchen and dining area. It is also perfectly positioned for all sorts of activities including great walks, horseriding, golf, beaches, local restaurants, and getting out to the Blasket's. We have been coming to the area for over 20 years, and now we have discovered Fennessy's Find we would never stay anywhere else.

Whatever the weather....
One of the especially appealing aspects of this exceptionally comfortable house is its versatility. Whether in glorious sunshine with world-class views or in slightly less appealing drizzle, the house is light, bright and incredibly convivial. Great for quiet evenings by the fire or coping with a jolly crowd of happy holidaymakers. Thoroughly recommended.

A stunning spot.
Wow!
This house is in a stunning location, looking out to the Blasket Islands. I could sit and soak up the views all day long. That is, if I wasn't going out along the coast looking at all the other constantly-changing beautiful views around the area! It is certainly the photographers dream.
The Blasket Centre is very close to the house, and one day we made the short boat trip across to the Great Blasket Island, which was one of the highlights of my stay.
This house is perfect, with all mod cons, and beautifully furnished to the highest level throughout. It has obviously been refurbished very recently, but has managed to retain the cottage atmosphere. The kitchen and living areas are so well-appointed, but totally relaxing. There is also a very nice lounge with a TV, and there are board games and DVDs available for use by the guests.
Dingle is only 20 mins away, with an excellent Aquarium, plenty of interesting shops, and a "must-do" boat trip to see Fungi the Dolphin!
I would recommend Fentons and Chart House restaurants for a nice dinner.
I stayed in this house with 3 friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Fennessy's Find, and are hoping soon to make a return trip to this magical place.
About the host
Hosted by Sheelagh O'Neill
Irish born, living in the UK Our family and friends have spent many happy holidays in Dunquin, and love the fresh air and wide open spaces, together with the beautiful vistas. A great contrast to city living.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with the area because it is an area of exceptional beauty, with wonderful views from the house and round every corner. We love the fresh air , the space and all the stars you see at night - and our house is sturdy and comfortable in any weather. We love it in winter as well as summer.
What makes this property unique
I love looking out at a panoramic view of the sea, with sea birds diving overhead. We have lots of space inside and around this house, which is good for the whole family. The kitchen/family area is well provided for and comfortable I love going for a bracing walk, then lighting a fire, and reading on the couch.
