Our apartment is located on a select, secure development within walking distance of the marina and lovely long sandy beaches of the Mediterranean. The Pyrenees are visible from the south-facing terrace beyond mature trees in open countryside. The grounds of the complex are spaciously laid out with flowering shrubs and trees which provide shade from the hot summer sun. Within five minutes walk of the apartment is a small shopping complex with supermarket, bakery, greengrocer, fishmonger, and restaurants; opening hours are reduced out of season. There are a wealth of activities available locally – most water sports, horse-riding, golf, sports centre, Aqualand water park, and inland lake with many species of wildlife. Further afield there is the spectacular scenery of the Pyrenees to be discovered with magnificent views from remote locations which we have found during our many visits to the area; we would be pleased to share them with you on request.

Debbie is a lovely host, always replies quickly and to the best of her ability to help. Flat is well equipped, with free parking. A car is very important for anything more than the local shops. We were 4 adults with 2 small children, the window shutters allowed nice dark rooms to sleep very well even on the sofa bed in the living room. Location has no attractions for small children other than the swimming pool. Could use a kids playground nearby.
Appartement très propre avec toutes les commodités nécessaire. Plage à proximité et piscine (pensez à prendre vos chaises pliantes covid)

Ideal location, fabulous place to visit
The apt was fresh and clean, everything you need to have a self catering holiday. WIFI a bonus as took our firestick for Netflix TV. The complex is well located close a small port with shops & restaurants, and then only 10min drive to the main port with a huge selection of restaurants, fair and shops. The nearest beach was Wikiki, by car less than 10mins and ability to park right near the entrance for free and walk just a few mins to the sea.Argeles sur mer is also great to visit just 10 min in the car. The pool on the complex is heated, was never too busy. I would recommend you take your fold up chairs to the pool & beach. Overall we had a fabulous family break with our dog and kids and would definately return to Saint Cyprien again. Thank you Debbie for allowing us to stay.

Clean, well-equipped apartment in great location.
An ideal base for exploring St Cyprien and beyond, the apartment has everything you need for a holiday - we especially appreciated the parasols for the beach, grill for barbeques and cool bag for picnics. Bath towels on request at no extra charge; would have been nice to have the option of renting pool and beach towels as we flew and had to take ours. The apartment is in lovely grounds, is clean and in good condition; and although the décor could do with being modernised, this did not affect our enjoyment. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The balcony is an excellent feature, and we used it for every meal - nice to have that outdoor space. Shutters and fans keep it cool, even in August. The pool is large and rarely overcrowded, although no sunbeds - there are some on the balcony. The local shopping area is great - a pretty location by a marina, with all the shops and restaurants you need a few minutes walk/cycle away. The whole local area is very bike-friendly - we hired from La Quincaillerie du Port in St Cyprien Port. There are cycle paths and it's the easiest way to get around locally, especially as it's flat! Beaches are sandy, with good facilities - there are many but our favourite was near Le Pont Tournant (signposted El Trayou) - 5 mins cycle ride and a lovely beach café for coffees, ice creams, and sundowners. The town of St Cyprien Port is a lively port and marina with numerous shops, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets, and markets on most days and every evening. A lovely restaurant a few minutes away is La Main a la Pate, which specialises in pizza and seems to attract the locals - lovely garden setting, and we were the only Brits there! Nearby towns worth a visit are Port Vendres, Collioure and Banyuls sur Mer, but very busy driving in - some can be reached by train from Perpignan. Perpignan is also worth a visit. It has a very Spanish feel, and a street festival every Thursday evening in the summer. A useful website for local information is Anglophonedirect.com. We also visitied Barcelona for the day by driving to Figueres in Spain and taking the train from there; also really worth a visit if you haven't been (allow at least 2 hours each way). Le Petit Train Jaune going up into the Pyrenees was a good way to see the mountains. Montpellier a beautiful city too. Would definitely return as there is more we'd like to see and do in the area.

We have come to this area for many years with our children to visit my parents who used to live nearby. We bought our apartment several years ago and spend as much time there as we can - work commitments permitting.
