Rural north east Scotland holiday home at Lumsden Aberdeenshire

The detached house of Clayhooter was built to a very high standard by the current owners 10 years ago and is set in its own grounds of over 2 acres.The property comprises four double bedrooms (and a cot if required), en-suite shower room, bathroom, lounge, dining room, kitchen/breakfast room, utility, sun lounge and downstairs toilet. The house has oil central heating, is double glazed and has an oil fired burner in the lounge.Outside there is a south facing patio area and a large lawn surrounding the house.
The property is set in very peaceful surroundings with uninterrupted views but is still within easy reach of the coast, Aberdeen City, the Cairngorm mountains, Royal Deeside,all the local facilities and tourist attractions.
The dining room easily accommodates eight adults and offers spectacular and uninterrupted views over the beautiful and peaceful countryside and hills, including The Buck and Clayhooter, either during breakfast or the colourful sunsets (and occasionally the Northern Lights) over dinner.
Internet access is now available and free to any residents at 'Clayhooter'.

Although my family, (one wife, Hazel, two daughters, two sons in law, three granddaughters, one grandson and a black labrador) now live in the English Midlands I was born in Aberdeen and spent my early years in Huntly,- about 12 miles from Lumsden, and I have great affection for Scotland. I am now retired and spend time in Scotland whenever I can.

We built this property 12 years ago, to our design, and we feel that it has all the facilities that you could want in a holiday home. We consider it to be a very user-friendly house with a very welcoming atmosphere and a very safe home and environment for children.

Peaceful, safe, fantastic views, within reach of so many attractions from castles, mountains, distilleries, beaches, golf, fishing, walking, climbing, skiing, restaurants, etc, etc, and Aberdeen is less than an hour away. What else could you want on a Scottish holiday.
