If you want a home away from home in Seville, this is the place. We were there for a week. If you want the hotel lifestyle this is not your place. We enjoyed the terrace, the hourly bells and the washing machine. Some things were a bit quirky but ok. Such as a few stairs to bathroom and 2nd bedroom and a while to adjust to the shower temperature. Enjoyed our stay.
The whole end to end holiday experience was excellent starting with the private rooftop terrace with brilliant views of the town. The apartment was clean and quiet at the top of a lovely old building. Javi the manager was friendly and extremely helpful giving good advice on the best places to visit and eat. We enjoyed endless walking around the beautiful, historical and lived in city.
We LOVED our stay in this place. Javi was so kind and helpful, and the place was a perfect spot to be. It was spacious, lots of storage, a great living area to sit and read, and the terrace and view was amazing. Go see the neighbor, Paco, at Alfakeke. He is so friendly and will make you very good coffee and food. Walk to Dos de Mayo for dinner. I wish we had stayed longer at this place in Seville.
What a great place to stay. We loved the space, particularly the terrace and the views, and found it very comfortable. Javi, who let us in, was very efficient and helpful, and Alexandra's communication was reassuring.
Nice apartment in an area close to everything. The terrace is a great feature. The owner went out of her way to resolve a small issue. I would gladly stay here again.
Great location--walking distance to everything even though in more of a residential area. Really big unit with 2 BR, full kitchen and dining area, living room, and outdoor private terrace. A/C is supplied by 3 mini-split units which only provide moderate coolness, but when we were there open windows provided great airflow from front to back of the apartment.
Lovely property, enhanced by the terrace where we enjoyed breakfast each morning.
Perfect location to explore the beautiful city of Seville especially the San Vincente area which is less touristy. Java was very helpful and made checking in easy.
Fantastic place. Clean. Quiet. Amazing views. Great location. A few quirks to work out with the shower. The church next store entertained the neighborhood with music and pageantry. Javi was such a gentleman, gracious and responsive to requests.
The location was very good, and it was easy to find everything nearby you needed for your stay. You get accustomed easily to the surroundings and find nothing is that far away. The church bells do ring on the hour from 10AM until 9PM, but inside the apartment it is surprisingly not that loud.
This was a good base for us as we explored Sevilla and surrounding areas. Only suggestion would be to brighten up the wall decor. Some bright posters would go a long way.

On the walls we have lithographs by a remarkable Andalusian artist, Wenceslao Robles, who portrays industrial landscapes with the reverence normally afforded to religious subjects. I adore his work, but I understand that taste in art is a personal matter.
Alexandra is a good host and Javi very helpful. Location is great. A broken elevator and several flights of stairs made it a difficult climb to reach the apartment. The hot water situation was not dependable - sometimes yes - sometimes no.
We are 70+ year old couple from USA and appreciated all the help and support we received from "Javi" and Alexandra (bags up the stairs, scheduled taxi to airport, small repairs, restaurant and flamenco recommendations, etc.) Beds were good. Very well equipped kitchen for cooking. Rooftop patio is delightful (as long as you remember that the church next door rings bell on the hour during daytime). It was perfect for our 4 days in Seville. Great location for walking to the scenic parts of the city.
This was an excellent location for five nights in Seville. The apartment is in a typical Spanish neighborhood and has everything you need to make you comfortable. It was an abnormally cold January but the heat pumps kept us warm. Beds were very comfortable and we had tons of space to ourselves. We didn't mind climbing the stairs to the top floor because that gave us a great view and no neighbours above us! Very good value.
We had a fantastic 4 night stay at this property. The apartment was so clean and well equipped - we were very impressed.
Javi, who dealt with our check in was fantastic. Very helpful.
The location is great - everywhere is walkable. 5 mins to a supermarket; 20 mins to the cathedral / Alcazar area; 10 mins to Alameda de Hércules (a great street with so many bars and restaurants) and best of all only a 10 min walk from the bus stop to and from the airport.
We loved staying here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment - we'd stay there again in a heartbeat. In fact we hope to one day.
El Como is in a good position to visit all parts of Seville and has most things required for a relaxed holiday. We were greeted on arrival by Javi and given all info needed for our stay.
The terrace is a lovely addition and it was great to have breakfast out there, before the heat of the day struck.
Flat is up 3 flights of stairs with no lift, so be aware of this. It was also very hot while we were there and air conditioners struggled a bit to keep the flat cool.
Some of the decor/furniture could do with an update, but I would recommend El Colmo for a short stay in the city.

Yes, I make a point of stressing the fact that it's a 3rd floor walk-up. Furniture is true to photos.
The location of this property was excellent to see eveything we wanted. Unfortunately we had problems with the hot water and had cold showers for most of the time. Although Javi tried to fix it, it still wasn't working. Not a great experience. The dishwasher also did not work so after 3 days of putting stuff in to wash we had to wash by hand. Again not a great experience. You expect things to work. There was also a nasty smell in the communal area of the apartments - sewerage I think. We had a lovely time in Seville but these few things made it slightly less easy and enjoyable. Thanks to Javi though for his effort and friendliness. 5 stars there for sure
working properlywasher also did not work

Javi can solve any problems, but he has to know about them. Rachel didn't tell him about the dishwasher or he would have had it repaired during her stay. She did complain about the water heater on day 2 of her stay, but wrote him an hour later that it was okay, that she had "figured it out." Both machines are being repaired today, now that we have read her review. Javi and the neighbours have not noticed a smell in the hall, but if there is one, it may be due to the unfinished works of the installation of our new lift, which has required some digging on the ground floor. I'm very sorry about the difficulties Rachel encountered, and I encourage future guests to please just let Javi know if anything's wrong. He is marvelously amiable and efficient.

About the host

I am Spanish, I was raised by English-speaking parents, and I now live in Portugal.
Why they chose this property
This apartment used to be my home. I looked at more than thirty apartments in Seville before buying this one. I loved it on first sight because of the light, the views, the location, the quiet. It's a peaceful and romantic place.
What makes this property unique
This attic apartment is light, airy, romantic, and it has great views. It's full of windows, yet there are no neighbors overlooking. The orientation is east-west, so it's sunny all day, and most of the windows placed across from each other, creating a good through-breeze. There are ceiling fans, a/c, plants, nice engravings on the walls. The terrace is private, sunny all day long, perfect for drinks and meals eating outside.
