Villa Pilar

The Villa is situated in the lovely hills of the community of Monsummano Terme. It is a
typical tuscany landhouse in the middle of olives trees (eight hundreds on four hectars)
on various terrasses connected by small pathes, all inviting for a walk. In doing so you
can enjoy the perfect architecture of the medieval village of Montevettolini wich is only
500 metres away.
In altitude of 150-200 hundred m. you are enjoying a mediterranean cliimate protected from
cold winds, with an open view to the west and south in direction of the sea offering a
medieval and "medici" tipical impression inviting for meditations and a really relaxing
stay in a country side environnment.

The House

The house, built in 1811 and recently renovated offers the typical characteristic of
a country house in this region of Tuscany and is perfectly suited for an extraordinary
farm holiday. It is furnished in a modern and purposefull way and thus satisfies the
expectations of rural atmosphere.

On two floors with a total of 400 mq it offers because of three separate entrances and
an optimal flexibility hosting a maximum of 14 adult people .

Each reservation guarantees EXCLUSIVITY, without other guests.

PLEASE NOTE

First option:
Hosting for up 10 guests:

a) groundfloor: 1) patio 50mq, with dining place for up 14 people,
dining room for 10 people with exit to the garten, living room with open-fire place, TV SAT, large kitchen,( 5 burners, oven, dishwasher, 2 fridge freezer, toaster, American coffee and espresso machine) with exit to the garten, bathroom for everybody; double bed-room,TV, bathroom with shower and toilet ,washing maschine, air conditioning; double bed /twin bed room ,TV, bathroom with shower and toilet Air conditioning. Separate entrances from the garden and from interior.
Towards North-East double/twin bed+ eventually third bed-room 25 mq with kitchen area, bath room with shower and toilet, washing machine. Separate entrances from interior and from garden . Air conditioning This room is suitable for people with reduced mobility.
b) first floor to be reached by an internal stairway: double bed room, bath room with shower and toilet. Air conditioning. double bed /twin bed room , TV SAT, bath room with shower and toilet. Air conditioning.


Second Option:
Hosting for up 12 people: Sweet Home Accomodation in our web site
in addition:
To be reached by external and internal stairways: apartment of 50 mq , kitchen, dining zone, sleeping zone, anteroom with washing maschine, bathroom with shover and toilet.

This part of the house will be offer when the guests are 12 or upon specific request, with payment of the price difference. (500 euros/week to be payed at arrival to Agriturismo Podere Pilar. N.B.During the month of August 2026, this portion is reserved for the owners; in exchange, they will be given the first-floor, west-facing apartment of approximately 75 square meters.

Third special option :
Hosting up to 14 people
in addition:
When there are at least 14 guests can be exceptionally reserved the first floor apartment of approximately 75 m2 on the south, west and north-west sides of the house, consisting of a large kitchen furnished with all appliances, bedroom with double bed, living room on the north-west side, with entrances via internal staircase and external staircase and panoramic balcony facing west. Ante room with washing machine, bathroom with shower and toilet Air conditioning in the bedroom and living room.

Behind the house luxurious ultra panoramic swimming pool (6x12 mtr with stair entry, depth 1.20- 2.10 mtr), completely renovated in 2017
to be reached by stairs or two little pathways, cold and warm shower, big terrasse

Our guests at Podere Pilar, a holiday house  in Tuscany, located on the southern slope of Montalbano, in the municipality of Monsummano Terme can use, from morning to sunset, a very privileged swimming pool.

The pool is 12 meters long and 6 meters wide; has a maximum depth of 2.10 meters and a safety zone of 4x6 deep 1.20. This area allows the use even to people who can not swim or who have any physical problem, as reduced mobility.

Around the pool there are large spaces where guests will have a shower with hot and cold water, a fountain, sun loungers, a large furnished gazebo, umbrellas.

Flowerbeds border the pool area accessible from the back of the Villa Pilar through two slightly uphill paths or using a comfortable large stone staircase. The swimming pool has been created, by our choice, in an ultra panoramic and always sunny position. From the early hours of the morning until the evening our guests will enjoy the privilege of spending hours of well-being and relaxation, with the company of friends, in wide open spaces but of absolute privacy and will surely appreciate the refined equipment and services offered from the Agrotourismus Podere Pilar.

The pool water is kept clear, clean and pleasant with careful filtration and maintenance; we recommend our guests to observe some simple rules for their own well-being, such as, for example, avoid entering the pool immediately after using sunscreen and taking a shower in advance. The bathroom is allowed from 9 am to 7-8 pm in the evening; children must always be under the supervision of their parents.
