It was absolutely perfect. We loved all the rooms, beautiful nature and the pool was amazing. The view and driving around the pitoresque villages was like a dream. And those waterfalls….. So inspiring and relaxing, we all went home very happy and a little sad to leave such a nice place.

Highly Recommend

Everything was as described,. this house is in a great location and is just a short walk from the village, its just what we needed, very clean, tidy and spacious and had everything there that we needed.Although the house is fully fitted with a new heating system, we also made the most of the open fire and spent a couple of cosy evening in.The communication with the owners was more than helpful and very informative and friendly. We will definitely return to this property maybe in the summer and look forward to trying out their new aircon and the use of the swimming pool.just perfect, thank you!

Great holiday in beautiful area

The house, garden and pool were all very lovely. We were two families, eight people in total, and there was plenty of space for all of us. Each of the bedrooms had its own bathroom which was very nice especially when travelling with teens. Due to the warm weather, we enjoyed the outside very much, especially the pool was a big hit for both teenagers and adults. The pool was approx. 1,9 meter in the deep end and around 28-29 degrees Celsius which was perfect for us. There are many possibilities to explore Provence from Sillans-la-Cascade, several lovely villages. We especially enjoyed our trips to Aups, Tourtour and Lorgues. We went to Lac Sainte-Croix several times, where we among other things rented boats. Communicating with Steven and Maria was extremely easy, we appreciated the advice they gave us both before and after we arrived.

Perfect location for some good cycling

We stayed for a week to do some cyclin g across Provence. The house was perfect for us. It was roomy and clean, the owner was very helpful, and the property manager quick to respond and they both had some good suggestions for us. The house feels like a home away from home, welcoming and homely. The village was wonderful, with a waterfall in it (hence the name of the village) which was beautiful and felt like a little gem that had been tucked away. The boulangeri in the village was lovely, and open most mornings. The supermarkets are within easy reach, and there are some really good cycling opportunities. We cycled around Lac de St Croix, and the Canyon du Verdon as well as heading towards Aix and having a day checking out the surrounding villages. Contignac and Barjols is really worth a visit, as is the village at the top of Lac de St Croix. I will be checking if this house is free next time we go as it will be my first choice.

Super semaine !!!

good afternoon Marie, Thank you so much for the 5-star review! We’re really pleased you enjoyed your stay and loved the villa’s location. Just to let you know, the pool renovation is already booked in for the end of the season. We also really appreciate your comments about the terrace. We weren’t aware that the material providing shade on the metal awning has come off — thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we’ll make sure it’s attended to straight away. We hope to welcome you back again soon! Kind regards Chay and Lorraine.

Thank you so much for your kind review and for choosing to stay with us at 116 Chemin des Pins. We're really pleased you enjoyed your time in Provence. We’re sorry to hear that you encountered a little uninvited visitor during your stay. Unfortunately, at this time of year in the South of France, mice can occasionally make an appearance—especially in rural areas like ours. We do our best to manage this sensitively, and while traps are the safest and most effective option, we avoid using any poison, as many of our guests (like yourselves) bring dogs, and their safety is always our top priority. We also appreciate your comments regarding the terrace and pool area. We’re pleased to let you know that both the pool and surrounding paving are scheduled for an upgrade at the end of this season. As part of this work, we’ll be taking the opportunity to review and improve terrace safety and comfort for our guests. Thank you again for your feedback – it helps us to keep improving and ensure our home continues to be a welcoming and relaxing place to stay. We hope to welcome you back in the future.

Tolle Auszeit in schöner Umgebung

Urgemütliches Haus in bester Lage
