House above the beach sleeps 4 with private parking
Beautiful 2 bedroom house on the border of Woolacombe / Mortehoe. Southerly facing, looking out over 3 different beaches to the south and Lundy Island to the west. Previously the end of a popular hotel this house is wonderfully sunny and bright without being hot. The bedrooms are all downstairs and open out onto a sunny patio with beach view. The upper balcony has the same view, extending out from the living area, making a great spot to watch the amazing sunsets with a cool drink! Linen, big white fluffy towels and beach towels are included, along with a welcome pack of food and wine. In easy reach of beaches, coastal walks, local bars & restaurants, this fresh, light and modern house makes a superb holiday property providing comfort, luxury and practicality whilst enjoying one of the best locations in the surrounding area. We are a totally "pet free" house so please don't ask to bring one, well behaved or otherwise. We have many people who come back year on year with pet allergies so like to make sure this is a relaxing environment for them and any other non pet families.

House was lovely and clean, it felt very homely and had everything you would need for a self catering stay. Location was perfect for walking to the beach at woolacombe.
We had a great week in this lovely house, which enjoys uninterrupted views over Woolacombe Bay.Communication with Helen was excellent, and all went well from arrival to departure. We'd love to return some day!
Overall the property was clean and comfortable, however stairs are quite steep and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We have only two suggestions a) would have been nice to have curtains on the side windows in the bedrooms. Also would be useful if a shower mat could be provided . All in all a very successful visit .
Lovely cosy apartment with bedrooms downstairs to outside garden. Everything you need…. Short walk to Morthoe or Woolacombe. Great coastal walks & beautiful beaches. A little gem.
This house is absolutely amazing. It is so clean, comfortable and the views are spectacular. Helen was so helpful to us with a very short notice booking. Book here, you won't regret it, we were very lucky and had some incredible sunsets, it's not often you get to see the sun slowly sink into the sea. Thank you so much Helen xxx
Lovely property, very clean and spacious. We went for Christmas and the house had Christmas touches and a welcome gift of a cute Christmas cake and a bottle of wine dressed in its Christmas jumper and hat, a dish of chocolates finished it off, most welcome! The view from the balcony is lovely as you can see the sea, the village is small and neat, Woolacombe is a short walk away. The accommodation is very homely, cosy and warm and enough equipment in the kitchen for us to cook our Christmas dinner. Car parking is right opposite the front door. Owner Helen was in contact to ensure we were ok. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this property.
We stayed for a weekend in Pebbles Court and were very impressed with the house. It was clean, warm and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and we loved the house. It was so well-equipped and we wish our stay had been longer! We also really appreciated the cream tea and milk, very welcome after a long journey from Surrey on a Friday evening.
We had another wonderful stay. This time I brought a friend and his son along and they were equally impressed with the accommodation and it's beautiful location.
The host was as always super helpful and very responsive in communicating.
We will be back again, of course 😁👌
The host
This property was sheltered from the winds and had a parking space. The kitchen was well equipped, water was hot, the beds were comfortable and the owner was responsive and willing to help. But the furniture in the sitting room needs replacing. The settees were sagging and uncomfortable and the only table had a missing caster and was tricky to assemble and cramped to use. We stayed at the end of the season, perhaps next year will be different.
This property is situated between Woolacombe and Mortehoe village centres with an excellent view of the sea. The listing by the owner is accurate, communication is easy, the house is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owner provided a very wecome arrival pack. An excellent base for exploring North Devon.provided
We had wonderful time celebrating my friends birthday over the weekend, easy to book and communication with the host was also very easy. House was great with everything you need for a self catering holiday home, home was very comfortable with stunning views of the coastline and ocean, the welcome gift of Prosecco and delicious scones, clotted cream and jam was very welcoming when we arrived, would thoroughly recommend and looking to returning in the future 😊.

About the host
Hosted by Helen Gray
Hi, we are Mike and Helen who moved to Woolacombe from London in 2006 to start a family. We now live in the village with our 2 children and wouldn't give up the beach life for anything! We lived at the House at Pebbles initially but after our 2nd child was born we moved to a bigger house, which we also now let in the summer while we are on holiday. We love our summer holidays and therefore are happy to share our houses with like-minded people who we know will look after it and enjoy the area and the safety for children as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
We bought the House at Pebbles when it was being converted and fell in love with it instantly, purely because of the view. We like being close enough to do things in the village but far enough out to be quiet and away from the crowds. The short, but vertical walk up the hill to Mortehoe brings you to a quaint little village almost stuck in time with lovely country pubs, restauarants and beautiful coastal walks.
What makes this property unique
Easy reach of all beaches Private off Road parking Not in the hustle and bustle of the main village Bedroom opens onto a patio with sea view Towels and beach towels provided Welcome pack
