Beautiful, clean, great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Porto Rafti. The flat was very clean and comfortable, and the service provided by the owner was first-class. It was within a short walk to a beautiful beach with a wonderful taverna that served great food! We will definitely stay here again!!! Thank you, Dimitris!

beautiful property set among other wonderful propertys and in a quiet location away from trafic ...just a short walk to the local beach and a short distance further to a bigger beach wich you have to pay to get on but only 5 euros ...but panorama beach is very good with a cafe/restaraunt ... where you can get drinks and snaks all day while you are at the beach.dimitris is a wondferful host as is his wife .... the top apartment has wonderful views of avlaki beach and the bay .the apartment is very well kept and clean and was a delite to stay in.defo go again to this place

Beautiful View and Perfect Holiday Stay

My wife and I visited Greece for the first time recently and stayed in this wonderful Villa. From the view of the Sea to the inviting living space this villa was perfect for us. The ability to walk to various beaches (Rocky or Sandy), made the location perfect. Having a rental car made it easier to get around the beautiful seaside town of Porto Rafti. I would recommend these accomidations for couples and families alike. We found the space more than ample, the amenities well described on the site and the owners very helpful with ensuring we had everything needed to truly enjoy our trip. Porto Rafti is a perfect place to call home during your Holiday. You are a short drive to Athens or various other historic locations such as the Temple of Poseidon. We can't not say enough about our stay. The Villa was perfect for us and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Best Time Ever!!!! Fabulous place to stay !!!!

This is the ONLY house to stay at if you are going to Porto Rafti. The view is out of this world. The short stroll to the beach is filled with lovely neighbors waving and saying good morning. There are NO words to describe how crystal clear and clean is the sea. The temperature of the water is perfect the water is perfect...the view... unbelievable. We went swimming 3 times a day. We swam to a cave which seems wicked far away but it was an easy lovely swim. The house is immaculately clean! There was NOT a spot of dirt or dust on anything. This house is extremely well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom, fantastic living room with great TV. The beds are extremely comfortable and even more important is the pillows and they too were perfect. The owner, Demitri, could NOT be Better even if he tried. He had food in the house and a bottle of wine. He drove around to show us where to buy everything, he made sure that all our needs and desires were met. It was as if we were living a dream. I never expected to have such a wonderful time or to love this house and the owners so much. It felt like we knew them forever and we had just met. If you have kids it's good and if you do not it's good, there are 3 beaches near the house. Two are sandy and the kids can play in the sand. There is also music at night and places to eat. So if you like quiet the house is in a quiet area if you want noise , then its just a little walk away. At the house all you hear is quiet and the water. Shopping is easy and NOT expensive and very close by. We found some wonderful sales and bought new swim wear and shoes. We bought the BEST fruit ever everyday and meat. It is close to the airport and to the highway so traveling was easy. We took the Metro to Athens which was easy and fast. IT's a perfect location, perfect sea, perfect house. NO Worries!!! This is the perfect vacation house !!!

Just what we were looking for: quiet spot overlooking the water!

This clean, comfortable property is exactly as described in words and pictures. Dimitris was the perfect host. He stayed in touch prior to our trip and met us upon arrival with many suggestions for activities and restaurants. We rented a car at the airport which was a good idea to help us get around to local shops and meals. We enjoyed many meals and coffees beside the harbor. Late October marks the end of the tourist season so a few places were closed though the weather was still sunny and warm. Because we were two couples, we rented both the first and second floor apartments. This worked well. Everything in the apartments worked well. By using all 3 balconies, you could always find a spot in the sun. We took a successful day trip to Athens by car then metro. A great week for four friends!

L’appartement de Dimitris à Porto Rafti est une excellente adresse où nous n’avons eu que de bonnes surprises ! A partir de Porto Rafti, nous avons pu découvrir le Péloponèse, Athènes et les cyclades. Dimitris et sa femme sont très accueillants (même lorsque l’on arrive à 1h du matin…), parlent Anglais et Français, et sont ravis de faire découvrir leur pays. L’appartement est très bien équipé, situé tout près de la plage et du chemin côtier. C’est une adresse à conserver et à partager ! Merci à la famille Lampropoulos ! The apartment of Dimitris at Porto Rafti is an excellent address, where we only had good surprises! From Porto Rafti, nous discovered Peloponnese, Athena and Island. Dimitris and his wife are very nice (even if we arrived at one o’clock in night…), speak English and French, and are pleased to give information about their country. The apartment is fully equipped, next to the beach. This address has to be kept and shared, thanks to the Lampropoulos’ family!

Super tolle Unterkunft mit toller Ausstattung

Meine Frau undicht waren von der Wohnung sehr Begeistert. Nagelneue Küche mit Vollausstattung (Geschirr und Töpfe). Der Strand war nicht weit nur dem Berg runter Die Vermieter sind klasse und geben gute Tipps. Wenn wir in der Gegend sind ziehen wir dort wieder ein. Nur zu empfehlen!

just about perfect . . .

This is a wonderful property in an excellent, quiet, safe and charming location. All of the amenities in the apartment worked as expected, it was clean, comfortable, quiet, and relaxing - it left nothing to be desired. The outdoor walks on the waterfront (very close by) were rich and relaxing, and the local restaurants, beach area, people - just fun and enjoyable to experience. Dimitris was a wonderful host and provided friendly, responsive assistance in every way we needed as newcomers to the country. If we return to the Athens area - we will rebook. We loved it.

A very nice place by the sea!

A well-equiped apartment just steps from a lovely beach and all kinds of swimming/sunbathing possibilities. . The view from the balcony, which is large, is amazing. Dimitris and his wife are Perfect hosts and will take good care of all your needs. We loved every minute of our week!

Perfect!

This villa has everything. We were a group of 7 adults and rented both levels. The view from the upper level is fantastic! Most our time here was spent sitting on the balcony looking out at the water. There is also a little balcony off each bedroom with a nice view of the hills. It was so nice having a kitchen and washing machine for clothes. The owners are so welcoming and kind and can provide everything you can think of. I had mentioned how much I love green figs and they had some waiting for us on arrival in addition to their homemade preserves. Best of all, the location! Did I mention the fantastic view? Short walking distance to a beautiful family beach and taverna. Short drive from Athens airport and Athens Metro. Easy day trips to Sounion, Ancient Corinth, Napflion, Epidavros, and Poros...just to name a few. We absolutely would stay here again and hope to return soon!

Un appartement agréable et spacieux. Dimitris et sa femme sont très accueillants et disponibles pour toute question. Dimitris est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport et nous y conduire. La petite plage juste à côté est très agréable et peu visitée, spécialement en avril. Seul petit bémol : la voiture louée ne fut pas à la hauteur de nos espérances. Mais à part ça, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous recommandons !

Wonderful comfortable place near the sea! Чудесно!

Together with our friends from Chicago we spent a wonderful holiday here! It was in August 2015. This is a little and quiet place. The house is comfortable and clean,really near the sea. Just five minutes and you are there! Our owner, Dimitry, is nice and well-educated person. He was very kind to us, helped us with everything. I should recommend this prorerty to all my friends with pleasure! If we again will be in Greece to relax, we are going to live exactly here.Thanks awfully, Dimitry! Вместе с нашими друзьями мы провели здесь чудесный отпуск в августе 2015 ! Это маленькое и тихое место. Удобный и чистый дом, который находится очень недалеко от моря. Пять минут и вы там. Noch eine angenehme Woche

Hier die deutsche Übersetzung meiner ersten Bewertung von Ostern 2015 mit ein paar Ergänzungen, nachdem wir im Herbst nochmal eine Woche dort waren. Für meine beiden Kinder und mich war die Wohnung groß genug. Die Möbel sind neu und gut anzusehen, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, der Eigentümer und seine Frau sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die obere Wohnung hat einen wundervollen Seeblick; einen kleinen Sand-Kiesstrand (mit einem originellen, einfach-urwüchsigem Fischlokal) erreicht man zu Fuß in drei Minuten. Ein langer Sandstrand - das städtische Seebad - liegt in Sichtweite gerade mal ein paar Hundert Meter entfernt. Mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten beim nächsten Supermarkt. Der ist mittelgroß, hat alles, was man braucht (auch eine schöne Auswahl an interessanten Weinen in einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis), das Personal ist sympathisch und es macht Spaß, da einzukaufen. Etwas weiter weg an der Haupteinfahrtstrasse nach Porto Rafti gibt es auch größere Supermärkte. Das Meer ist sauber, die Küstenlandschaft schön, schwimmen macht hier richtig Spaß. Im Frühling passen die Wassertemperaturen allerdings nur für abgehärtete Leute und die See darf nicht zu rau sein; im Herbst ist das Wasser mit 17 bis 18 etwas wärmer und je nach Wetterlage kann man es auch am Strand noch gut aushalten. Der Ort als solcher ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Leute, die öfter mal nach Athen möchten, aber keine Lust haben, selbst die ganze Zeit in der Stadt zu wohnen. Wenn man sich erst mal an die sparsame Beschilderung gewöhnt bzw. die Strecke im Kopf abgespeichert hat, ist man mit dem Auto recht schnell an der S-Bahn-Station Koropi; die Linie führt mitten ins Zentrum. Weil die Fahrt aber relativ lange dauert (gefühlte dreiviertel Stunde), sind wir ab dem 2.Mal bis zur Station Halandri gefahren. Da hat es einen großen, ziemlich billigen Parkplatz und man ist flott am Ziel (10 - 12 Stationen). Abgesehen von Athen gibt es in einem Radius von max. 1 Stunde mit dem Auto noch etliche andere interessante archäologische Stätten zu besichtigen. Wir werden definitiv ein drittes Mal hinfahren. Nachdem wir Porto Rafti zwei Mal ziemlich ruhig in der Vor- bzw. Nachsaison erlebt haben (ein paar Restaurants hatten aber schon auf), geben wir uns vielleicht mal den Sommer.

excellent séjour proche Athènes Cap Sounion

Appartement spacieux, lumineux, bien équipé, moderne et propre, situé dans un quartier résidentiel très calme. Linge et draps fournis. La vue sur la mer et sur les iles depuis le grand balcon est splendide. Les plages de Porto Rafti sont en contrebas, à 5 minutes à pied. Porto Rafti est une station balnéaire essentiellement fréquentée par les grecs athéniens bars restaurants ettous commerces Acces facile aux côtes de l'Attique, au cap Sounion, à Athènes soit par l'autoroute soit par le métro. Dimitris et son épouse, vous réserveront un accueil chaleureux.

Porto Rafti Stay August 25-September 3rd

We had been searching for a residence for our stay in Porto Rafti long before our trip and was so lucky to come across this property as it exceeded our expectations. We had an absolute wonderful experience staying at this apartment. The apartment was extremely clean, spacious, new and in a great location with an amazing view of the mountains and ocean. The owners, Dimitri and Giota greeted us with their warmth and personal touches and made us feel like family. We enjoyed going for evening walks in the pathway (beside the water) just 2 minutes from the apartment, eating at a lovely tavern by the water (3 minutes away) and swimming every day in the clear water. I would definitely recommend this property for a wonderful experience like the one we had that will stay in our memories forever. Thank you Dimitri and Giota. :)

A very pleasant week

For my kids and me there was enough space in the apartment. The furniture is new and in good style, the kitchen vey well equipped, the owner very kind and helpful. The sea-view is marvellous and a lttle sandy beach is in a walking-distance of 3 minutes (a bigger one is just a few hundred metrs away). The same time you need to reach the next supermarket by car. Porto Rafti offers a clean sea for swimmers and is an ideal spot for those people, who want to visit Athens, but not stay the whole time in the city. By car it is easy to get to subway stations Koropi or - perhaps better, because it is closer to the centre - Halandri and then comfortably drive to Akropolis or other destinations in the heart of Athens. Other spots worth to visit are also good to reach by car. We have already planned to come aggain.

Very comfortable

Liked the king size bed. Well decorated. Great views. Good clean space for two. When the flat is completely finished it will be a very nice rental. Excellent access to the beach and restaurants. The landlord is very accomodating.

An excellent place to stay in Porto Rafti, and in Athens itself for that matter. Anyone needing to be in the Athens area would be well advised to stay here by the sea with all that Porto Rafti has to offer, rather than the city center. The owners are lovely people and we hope to have a chance to come and stay here again some time
