Just a short walk from the Pleney and Super Morzine ski lifts, this apartment is ideal for groups of friends or families looking for convienece, but not wanting to compromise on accommodation.
Thoughtfully equipped and furnished to offer all you need for a relaxing self catered stay the accommodation comprises:
Large open plan lounge, kitchen and diner – at the heart of the apartment this light bright spacious area offers a modern well equipped kitchen, dining table to seat up to 8 people and comfortable lounge area for relaxing in after a hard day on the slopes. Flat screen tv, dvd player, wii and xbox console offer all the entertainment you need. Large sliding patio doors on either side lead to large balconies with views to Pleney, Avoriaz and overlooking the town square.

Bedroom 1 – A twin bedroom with en-suite family bathroom (large shower unit with rain head shower, vanity sink and toilet). This bedroom is located off the living area.

Any centrally located apartment with the fantastic proximity to all the amenities and ski lifts would usually be subject to noise at certain times. In the 10 years we have rented it has never presented a significant issue for other guests. I hope it would not deter you from staying at Le Baraty again.

Excellent Location, Spacious and Modern
The apartment is very centrally located with bars and shops on the doorstep yet you get views from both sides towards the ski areas. It's easily walkable to both telecabines.
Well equipped and comfortable, there's everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Morzine is a great base for skiing with a great variety of blue and red runs within reach.

Perfect apartment and location
You could not find a better location in Morzine than this - 2 min walk to the Pleney lift and 5 mins to the Super Morzine Telecabin. It's literally in the main square, so right next to all of the good restaurants, bars and shops. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need, 9 of us stayed there and we had plenty of room for not only us, but all of our belongings as well. We would definitely recommend this apartment as somewhere to stay in Morzine.

Stayed for a week in mid-March to get some late-season skiing and we were very impressed with the apartment. There's heaps of space, well-provisioned bedrooms and it couldn't be better located for getting to the ski lifts (both Pleny and Prodains).
The kitchen is large and has everything you need for proper cooking, there's a very well-provisioned Spar a short walk away.
The only slight negatives were some noise from the town square at night time, they had a stage set up which was all finished by 19:00 but did attract drunken idiots in the small hours.
Overall a great time spent and we'll certainly consider coming back to this apartment next year.
This apartment is ideal if you want to stay in the Centre of Morzine near the Pleney ski lift and easy walk to Super morzine lift, restaurants and bars.
The apartment is bigger than the photos show and all rooms have plenty of wardrobe space for clothes.
The Kitchen is really well stocked with utensil's for cooking in and the table has plenty of room for sitting around.
The children loved the Xbox/playstation for evenings.
Although we didn't use it much the balconies are great and overlook the town square.
The only issue was at night there is some noise from people walking past from bars which you have to accept with being so close to everything. This isn't the fault of the owners.

Appartement correct, mais tous les documents sont en anglais, même le contrat que j'avais demandé en français!!
Manque de sécurité dans la cage d'escalier, pas de main courante et éclairage insuffisant. Impossible d'avoir un deuxième jeu de clefs ( pour 6 personnes, c'est très léger)
Garage au sous sol la clef fonctionne très mal et il faut faire le tour par l'intérieur pour ouvrir. Il n'y a pas de prises électriques pour recharger les batteries. Parking ext il n'y a pas de place affectée et souvent plus de place, il faut se garer et trouver une place à l'extérieur ce n'est pas facile.
Malheureusement la nuit, c'est très bruyant avec les fêtards anglais.......

tout vous a été envoyé en français avant votre arrivée. Instructions sur la façon de récupérer la clé, les directions et tous les aspects de l'appartement - où se trouve le parking, comment trouver la grotte, les codes wifi, où se trouve la boîte à fusibles, etc. Vous aviez donc toutes les informations dont vous aviez besoin avant de arrivée.
Parking : il est clairement indiqué dans la description de l'appartement qu'il y a une place attribuée dans le garage et une autre place non attribuée dans le parking extérieur.
Si vous nous aviez informés que la clé d'accès au garage ne fonctionnait pas correctement pour la porte automatique, nous pouvions en informer l'agent de gestion de l'immeuble et le faire réparer.
Vous avez raison, il n'y a pas de points électriques pour recharger les voitures. Nous n'annonçons pas cela comme une fonctionnalité, cela ne devrait donc pas être une surprise. Si vous aviez besoin de cette installation, vous devriez réserver une propriété qui dispose d'un point de recharge - ou vous pourriez nous demander de vous indiquer où se trouvent les points de recharge dans le village.
Nous transmettrons vos commentaires concernant la cage d'escalier à l'agent de gestion et au copropriétaire de l'immeuble. Cependant, comme vous avez besoin d'un porte-clés pour entrer dans l'accès à la cage d'escalier, nous pensons que la sécurité est plus que suffisante.
Bruit : si vous réservez un appartement très central, qui donne sur la place principale de la ville pendant l'une des semaines les plus chargées de la saison, vous devez vous attendre à du bruit, de jour comme de nuit.
Many thanks for your review and feedback. In response to the points you have raised:
everything was sent to you in French before your arrival. Instructions on how to collect the key, directions, and all aspects of the apartment - where the parking is, how to find the cave, wifi codes, where the fuse box is located etc etc. So you had all the information you required before you arrival.
Parking: it is made quite clear in the apartment description that there is one allocated space in the garage and another unallocated space in the exterior car park.
If you had informed us that the key to access the garage was not working properly for the automatic door we could of informed the managing agent for the building and had this fixed.
You are correct there are no electrical points for charging cars. We do not advertise this as a feature so it shouldn't be a surprise. If you required this facility you should of booked a property that has a charging point - or you could of asked us to advise where the charging points are located in the village.
We will pass your feedback re the stair well to the managing agent and the co prop of the building. However as you require a key fob to enter the access to the stairwell, we think that the security is more than adequate.
Noise: If you book a very centrally located apartment, that faces onto the main town square in one of the busiest weeks of the season you have to expect some noise, during the day and at night.
This was a great property ideally situated right in the centre of town and just a 5 minute walk from the Pleney chair lift. Great communal living/dining/kitchen area with loads of seating and lots of soft furnishings, which made it really comfortable. Nice touch in having a PlayStation and games/DVDs too. Kitchen was well equipped and hosts were very quick to respond to queries while we were there.
Only slight downside was that it could be a bit noisy at night in the front 2 bedrooms with people coming out of bars etc. Also we didn’t realise until we got there that although there are 3 bathrooms (two of which are en suite), there are only actually 2 toilets, which could be tricky if you’re a large party. However, the positives of the apartment mean those two negatives can be tolerated! Overall a fabulous apartment.

Very pleasant stay / Très bon séjour
Very nice comfortable apartment and great location in the center of Morzine. The kitchen is large and well equipped for 10 people. We had a nice week.
The only negative is the night noise of holiday makers celebrating in the main square.
Très bel appartement confortable et super bien situé en plein centre de Morzine. La cuisine est grande et bien équipée pour 10 personnes. Nous avons passé une belle semaine.
Le seul point négatif est le bruit nocturne des vacanciers faisant la fête sur la place principale.

Superb apartment and location
There are always minor niggles with apartments, but this one is great. Beds slightly uncomfortable and too warm for my tastes, but if going back this is where I would go straight to book. Really enjoyed,. Morzine is charming but efficient, really friendly town.

Great apartment in a great location
A lovely modern and spacious apartment right in the centre of Morzine. The apartment was clean and very well equipped. There were 5 adults and 2 children in our party and the apartment had plenty of room. The pleney lift is a 2 minute walk from the apartment which is ideal for families with young children. The apartment is situated on the town square which is surrounded by shops and restaurants, with a number supermarkets in easy reach.
We have been coming to Morzine for a few years and this is the best apartment we have stayed in, we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Superb Accomodation with the best location
The accommodation, is clean and spacious with everything you need. The location is perfect for skiing as it is close to the Pleney lift and the Super Morzine bubble is only a very short walk away. There is also a bus stop just outside the accommodation should you need it. The restaurants and bars are on your door step but not to close to disturb you. I would recommend this accommodation as it is perfect for groups or families and has everything you need to make your ski holiday enjoyable. I look forward to hopefully going back soon. x

Perfect Apartment in Central Morzine
I can only agree with the other reviewers, this is a great place to stay. It's the third time in five years we have chosen to come back here as a group of 8 friends but it would also work well for two families or one larger family. Comfortable, nicely furnished, more spacious than most apartments and centrally located within the town for everything you need. Easy parking in the basement. Avoriaz bus leaves opposite, a couple of hundred meters to the Plenay lift and 5 minutes on foot to Super Morzine connections, there is almost nowhere better situated. Kitchen has everything you need but so handy for the restaurants you won't want to cook. Sam is always helpful and responds quickly - if you want to stay in Morzine, you'd be struggling to find anything better than this.

Just the best location!
Right on the town square and a short walk to Le Pleney, ski hire, bars, cafes, shops etc. Couldn't be easier! Prompt replies from Sam to my emails, efficient meet and greet service too. The apartment was very clean. There's a lovely open plan living space. We were a group of 7 adults, but it would be tight for 10 people as there are only 2 loos. We will be back if our numbers are similar next year.

Excellent accommodation
Excellent apartment, clean, modern, very well appointed with everything you need for a skiing holiday. Located in the middle of Morzine, only minutes away from ski hire, ski lifts, shops, bars & restaurants. Perfect for children of all ages & would definitely return.

Lovely apartment, brilliant location

Morzine-Le Baraty Apartment
10 of us had a fantastic time in Morzine which is superb for skiing. This was made much better by the excellent facilities at Le Baraty. Location couldn't be any more central to both lift and all the bars and restaurants. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable and the owner answered all queries efficiently. Will definitely be back to this apartment.
