Sunny, luxury chalet with hot tub & stunning views, sleeps 10 in 4 bedrooms
About David Lowrie
The Lowrie family had already skied Les Portes du Soleil area for 10 years before we finally decided to base ourselves in Morzine; a decision we have never regretted over the following 15 years of ownership. We had the chalet built to our specification by a local wooden chalet builder. We continue to love every minute spent in the resort, and relish the opportunity to share the serentity of our chalet with friends and relatives from all over the world.
David Lowrie purchased this Chalet in 2000
Why David Lowrie chose Morzine
One of the finest sites in Morzine. Wonderful views yet also close to all facilities in the town.
What makes this Chalet unique
A very sunny location with great views across the town and up and down the valley. Within a couple of minutes guests can walk to bars, restaurants, hotels and shops. Personally I love the morning walk to the boulangerie even if the car is in the drive. In winter there is a joy to skiing in from Piste B which runs behind us, crossing a field and arriving at the front door on skis!. In summer the area attracts the local horses which roam free in adjacent fields. At all times the serene views across the valley and the town make it a spectacular place to relax.

Summer family holiday
Great chalet. Well equipped. Brilliant location, just a few minutes walk from everything. David was a pleasure to deal with. Responsive and helpful.
Excellent stay and shall be returning
Stayed here the beginning of July for a mtb holiday and enjoyed our stay very much. David was fantastic throughout the booking service, answering any questions I had with speedy responses. This customer service was carried on throughout our stay, helping us with local knowledge.
The property is fantastic and fully equipped with all you would need. The location was perfect, a few minutes walk and you are in the heart of the town and close to supermarkets ect.
We would not hesitate to stay here again when returning.
So glad you enjoyed it so much!
You are welcome to stay again anytime!
Despite the fact that a construction site was really noisy and annoying, we were surprised how the images did not look like reality, the apartment was very small, crowded and could be a good fit for 5 people max.
the host is very nice and the location is pretty good.
I’m sorry you were disrupted by the building work on a nearby plot. Plans have been in place for several years, and we were unable to know exactly when the work would start.
We have rented this property for 18 years now, and nobody has ever commented on the size of the rooms or the images that we displayed, which were provided by a professional photographer. The chalet has four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms spread over three floors covering 150 m², and this is regarded as a good sized property in the Alpine region.
Perfect ski home
We travelled in a fairly large group and had more than enough space, great location close to Morzine town and lifts, we stayed in the same chalet last year and will book again.
Great location. Lovely living space. We will be back!
What a great chalet to stay in. Nice bedrooms and living space. Lovely balcony with great views. Hot tub excellent after a long day on the slopes. Location is super. Short 3-5 min walk in to central square with plenty of shops/bars/restaurants. Thank you for a lovely stay Suzy & David. :)
So glad you left it. We do too!
Very clean smart chalet and very close to town and the lifts
The chalet was well presented and everything we wanted for our stay, the hot tub and wood burner was a huge plus after a long day sking, location wise is very close to town and both the super morzine lift and pleney, you can ski pretty close to the chalet off a blue run down if your compitent enough to offpiste down a fairly steep hill but its easier to leave your skis at berger hire at the base if you get your skis serviced or hire there storage for boots and skis is free, very handy for walking home in normal shoes then, my only negative and its very minor is the cow skin rug on the lounge floor and sofa arm rests, we had four vegetarians with us who didnt appreciate it ha, overall a great stay in a great chalet would love to visit again in the future
