Beautiful Villa With Private Pool Set In Mature Gardens

Boulouris is a charming Provencal coastal village on the Cote d'Azur. The villa is at the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac, set in its own mature gardens with a large pool. The property is very versatile; it can be used by a small group having the use of the upstairs part of the villa’s accommodation only, which has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 6 people, bathroom and separate loo and the pool-house shower and loo. Or the whole villa can be used for larger groups which comfortably sleeps 15 people within its six bedrooms, with 3 bathrooms and one separate loo within the villa and in the pool-house a shower and extra loo. The reception areas are very spacious. The main reception room can be opened up onto the hall with folding french doors, and onto the front veranda with 2 further sets of French doors. The veranda at the back of the property is especially large with two seating areas, which overlook the pool area and the back garden. The kitchen and dining areas are very well equipped for cooking and dining at home. But the area abounds with wonderful restaurants and if you wish to dine out, you will not be disappointed! The pool is large and the area surrounding it has been designed to accommodate sun-beds for everyone, whilst also allowing room for children to run and play. The gardens are lovely, delighting your every sense.

We had a great stay at this lovely Villa. It was as described in the advert and was very well equipped. The beach was a 15 minute walk with lovely restaurants at the beach. Excellent villa with great location

We spent 12 great days with extended family (13 individuals) at the villa. It is spacious and with a large pool, also close to both the village center and beaches. Great communication with the owner as well as with the on site landlord who helped out with any issues. We highly recomend this location/villa!

The the holiday was perfect. The weather the sea the restaurants we all exceptional. We managed to visit many places of interest. Within easy reach of Cannes , Antibes ,Nice and not forgetting the lake. A great holiday was had by all!

Spent our holiday for the second time with the entire family, and we hope to be back. The house and surrounding garden create a relaxing atmosphere with a large pool and plenty of space around the pool for those who wish to stay in the sun or play a game of table tennis. Excellent villa

We were a group of 10 adults and 1 child and this Villa had plenty of space for everyone. The facilities were excellent with a sunbed and seating around the tables for everyone. Plenty of cutlery, cooking utensils and crockery. Pool was really refreshing as it was so hot. Lovely front and restaurants within walking distance as was the train station although the trains were often over half hour late and in fact one day was cancelled altogether when we were going to Monaco. The only thing we missed was air conditioning as it was so hot when we arrived but after it cooled down a little the fans in the rooms did the job. Janie the owner was really helpful and responded very quickly to any queries I had. Thank you Janie for everything

Boulouris-Sur-Mer

Good: Pool and Terrace were truly, absolutely wonderful. The bathrooms and floors were very clean. The small kitchen was beautifully stocked. However, you are in the middle of a neighborhood, surrounded on all sides, and sound travels like crazy. We felt that we had to really keep it down after 10 PM so as not to bother the neighbors. Bad: The owner has not been there since 2018 and it really shows. The house is quite worn, dirty walls, dirty windows, cracked, chipped, stained linoleum floors in upstairs bedrooms. Additionally, while the downstairs rooms all have windows out onto the pool area, there is no cross breeze because the other side of the lower level has no windows at all. The people in those bedrooms were quite hot (there was a heat wave) even in the rooms with the overhead fans (one room only had a table fan). The mosquitoes were very bad in downstairs rooms--difficult because no screens in the windows, no cross breeze, but very hot. The upstairs rooms were wonderfully breezy and cool at night! No mosquitoes to speak of. It was nice to be so close to the little Boulouris area with a boulangerie, tabac, and boucherie, but the twice-weekly marche is blah. The house is a kilometer from a not very nice beach, but there are nicer beaches a bit further away. At the outset, I should have told the owner of my disappointment with the condition of the house, but my disappointments were not just a dirty microwave or stained sheets--my disappointment was the overall grubbiness of the house which could not be remedied with a quick run through by the cleaners. And frankly, I didn't want the negativity of such a conversation to set the tone for the week. We arrived at this house after two other week-long rentals in southern France, and one in Normandie. Those houses were each over 200 years old, yet were well taken care of, clean, and charming. This house needs some TLC--washing walls, replacing linoleum, maybe some screens and/or A/C units in downstairs rooms. Additionally the WiFi was not adequate for a day of video zoom calls, even when only one person was using it.

Sehr schöne Villa in einem hübschen Wohngebiet

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche mit 3 Generationen dort verbracht. Die Villa ist sehr schön aufgeteilt auf 2 Etagen (wobei 4 Schlafzimmer im Tiefparterre liegen, dafür direkter Zugang zum Poolbereich) und mit viel Liebe zum Detail sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Kinder hatten stundenlang viel Spaß im großen Pool. Die schöne, große Terrasse mit Schirmen direkt über dem Pool ist von der Küche aus begehbar und wir konnten dort alle Mahlzeiten an einer riesigen Tafel gemeinsam im Freien einnehmen. Die Küche ist großartig ausgestattet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Betreuung vor Ort war hervorragend! Die Lage der Villa ist toll in einem sehr hübschen Wohngebiet etwas außerhalb vom Stadtzentrum, aber kleine Lebensmittelläden, eine Bar und das Meer sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen.

Our property is family owned and is a much loved home from home. The children have enjoyed going over since being babies and now that they are older it has been great to also have their friends come over and spend time with us too. Over the years we have made some wonderful friends in the local area, and with so much to do, everyone is able to pursue their own interests. We have endeavoured to make our property a real haven, furnishing it with care and consideration, so that when we go over for a holiday we can totally relax in comfort and at ease. We are delighted that all the guests who have stayed, have also had this experience.

Why they chose this property

This lovely villa is a family owned property. There are five of us, one sister and four brothers!! We first discovered the area in 1974, when we stayed in the camp site at Le Dramont as young children with our parents. We returned to Boulouris and Le Dramont many times over the years until finally as adults we decided to buy a property in the area, when we came across this beautiful villa in 1999. We have enjoyed many wonderful holidays with our own individual families and friends, and with each other's families over the years. The combination of fantastic venue, stunning scenery and reliably good weather mean that we always have a really happy and relaxing holiday. We know that any guests staying in our villa will have the same marvellous experience. The photo above shows the children of two of the siblings, on a hike in the Alps Maritime. The cousins are all extremely close and that in part is due to the fact they spend quality time together on holiday.

What makes this property unique

The villa is situated in the very tranquil village of Boulouris-Sur-Mer, with excellent amenities: train station, church, post office, bank, bakery, butcher's, fishmonger, wine merchant, small supermarket, bar/cafe and weekly Monday morning market. The beach is within fifteen minutes walk, and that is walking with small children, not power walking!!! There are some extremely good restaurants on or near the seafront, so very pleasant to walk to, and back from, in the evening. You can catch a boat to St. Tropez from St. Raphaël (2km away), and be in the midst of your St. Tropezienne experience within an hour! There is just so much history and so much to do, from Jazz through to art and scuba diving and golf, that this is an area which really does have something for everyone.
