Villa Sorfini is set in a stunning location below the historic Castle of St George. Situated in the valley of St Andreas, close to the ancient monastery in a scenic rural and peaceful location.

Perfectly located within a short drive of the Airport and capital of Argostoli this villa is secluded but not isolated.

Suitable for couples and groups of friends and families of up to 4 people.

The villa commands majestic views of the castle and the highest mountain range in the Ionian, Mount Aenos. The village of Peratata, a fifteen/twenty minute walk or few minutes drive from Villa Sorfini, has facilities including a mini market, pharmacy, internet cafe/bar, traditional souvlaki taverna, bakery and cake shop. There are many others facilities within a short drive, details can be found in the Villa.

The central location of Villa Sorfini and Peratata gives easy access to all the spectacular beaches, restaurants and many places of interest on the island. The capital Argostoli with its harbour, shops, pavement cafes and restaurants is within a fifteen minute drive.

There are numerous beaches (including Lassi which is a popular beach resort), St Thomas, Trapezaki, Lourdas, Avithos also within a ten to fifteen minute drive.

There are two restaurant/bars at the Castle which is a 5 minute drive away. Il Borgo and the The Olive Lounge (formerly in Lourdas) which overlooks the St Andreas Valley out to the sea and mountain, perfect for evening meals. There is also the quaint floral Kastro Cafe for breakfast/brunch/lunch/cake and coffee or early evening meal with the same spectacular views. It’s a great place to stop for refreshments after a walk around the castle. The cafe closes 5-6pm. There are many more restaurants within a short drive. Argostoli is a short drive with numerous shops, restaurants, cafe bars and desert and ice cream parlours located from the main square and along the Lithostroto which is the main shopping street. The harbour front is also lined with eateries and cafe bars.

Kefalonia is a beautiful island and there is something for everyone. Villa Sorfini provides a perfect base from which you can easily explore or simply rest, unwind and relax in beautiful surroundings. The choice is yours!

Vila Sorfini

We were a family of 4 staying June/July 2025. Both the villa and its location were perfect for us and the welcome pack was gratefully received. All we could need was provided, and the pool in particular was fantastic. This is our 2nd stay on Kefalonia I would highly recommend both this villa and the island in general.

Villa Sorfini is a beautiful villa. It is clean and first and has all amenities you need and more. The pool is clean and a great size and is cleaned twice a week. Bedding and towels changed half way through the stay as well. From booking to check out was well organised and stress free. The owners and property manager are helpful and friendly. The location is quiet and has plenty of restaurants and shops and is also close enough to everywhere for exploring, however a car is recommended for sure. My partner and I had a wonderful week here and would definitely visit again.

We have been going to Kefalonia for over 20 years and stayed at many villas, Villa Sorfini is definitely one of the best we have stayed in. Stunning views very quiet and peaceful and very clean. The welcome pack was excellent and very much appreciated. The communication between the owners prior and during the stay was also excellent. Overall we had an amazing on this beautiful island. Lovely relaxing holiday villa

Beautiful Villa

Highly recommend Villa Sorfini which is set in a lovely garden has a beautiful pool and amazing views of the Castle and mountains. The villa was spotlessly clean and had everything required for a peaceful relaxing holiday in the sun. Correspondence with the owners was first class.

We have been travelling to Greece for the last 25 years and have stayed in many apartments and villa's, Villa Sorfini is our favourite so far, it is in an ideal location for travelling around the island but is also ideal for a relaxing pool holiday, set in an elevated position the views are outstanding both day and night with the castle being lit up when night falls. There are supermarkets within ten minutes by car and plenty of good restaraunts. The villa is spotlessly clean tastefully decorated and very well equipped, I would highly recommend this villa for a very special holiday.

Wonderful Family Holiday

Wow - what a lovely villa on a beautiful island. Clean, good location and a great pool to use should you want to stay at the villa. Car is a must if you want to venture away from the villa and visit all the beaches around the island as we did. The location was great, only 15 mins from airport and ideally located for numerous beaches and the capital, Argostoli. Jed, the owner was brilliant, sent me loads of ideas about what to do on the island, very responsive and genuinely nice bloke. Villa was cleaned 3 times, pool cleaned twice, everything was just easy and I recommend this villa.

Amazing Villa in a superb location

We had a great 2 week stay here. The villa had amazing Mountain View’s and was in a great location to explore Kefalonia. The villa was like a home from home, super clean and provided us with all the amenities you’d need for a long stay. We arrived late in the evening and on arrival we were welcomed with tea, coffe, bread, croissants, milk and so much more, it was a great touch and much appreciated. The hosts provided so much information about the surrounding area from shopping, restaurants, beaches, local amenities etc their knowledge about the island was invaluable. Great hosts who responded with any enquiries straight away. I’d definitely recommend this villa to family and friends we loved the peaceful location.

A Lovely Villa

A really lovely villa in a great location (car essential as nothing is easily walkable, especially in the heat). Location feels slightly random when you first arrive, but is actually the perfect spot to reach everything on the island. The pool and gardens are beautiful with the best views ever. You’d never get tired of looking out over those mountains! The interior of the villa is all fine, bed is extremely comfortable and the air con is a Godsend! But we were a little disappointed on arriving late evening that absolutely nothing is there for you - no welcome pack or even a single bottle of drinking water. There are also a few basics missing - torches but no batteries, a notice about using Calgon in the washing machine but no tablets - which felt a little unwelcoming compared to previous rentals. The main shower room is tiny and plumbing def not luxurious (although blocked shower issues in first week were swiftly rectified by the delightful property manager, William, who was really great at communicating throughout). Sheet and towel change was super efficient and much appreciated. We were also unlucky to be plagued by wasps outside, think there must be a nest around the villa? Was a shame as couldn’t eat outside at all and using the BBQ was risky! But all that being said, it’s a wonderful base for a Kefalonian holiday - the island is as stunning as ever. Recommendations from Jed & Tracey were fab - thank you!

Villa Sofinia was a beautiful villa for a beautiful island. Jed and Tracy are welcoming and provide a wealth of knowledge about Kefalonia which enhanced our stay on the island. The tranquil setting was idyllic and a relaxing dip in the pool was the perfect end to the day. The local restaurants are amongst the best on the island and the central location of the villa meant that no where on the island was more than an hour and a half by car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend both the villa and the island to couples and families alike. A truly wonderful holiday.

Lovely villa on peaceful spot, fab views!

This is our fifth visit to the beautiful island of Kefalonia and the best accommodation we have stayed in. A very welcoming villa, very comfortable and the lay out works really well, sooooo much outside space and the views absolutely fantastic. The villa was very well equipped and felt at home right away. All very clean. We know the surrounding area quite well and love it. Found the fort cafe this time and had many lunches up there, Ab Fab!! Coming back to the villa after a day out and about was very relaxing. Sitting out on the patio at 10.30pm in the evening listening to the chickadas and just taking it all in was magical. We will be back!!!!

WOW, the villa is just excellent

Well, what can I say? WOW, the villa is just excellent, remarkably clean and well equipped with everything you could ask for. This is our second stay at Villa Sorfini, and Both times we have all loved it. The location is great, lovely and peaceful with excellent views of the castle and Mount Ainos. Simply Amazing

We stayed at Villa Sorfini in Peratara and it was 'simply amazing'. The villa was clean and very comfortable. We received a welcome pack on arrival with all the essentials - this was a lovely touch which meant we didn't have to do that mad dash to the supermarket and we could just kick back and enjoy. The villa is really luxurious and modern with all the mod cons, and the outside space is spacious with seating area for dining and area around the pool for the sun loungers. I can't begin to describe how beautiful and stunning the views are from the villa. Whether you are sitting enjoying your morning coffee or later in the evening with your glass of wine, they are absolutely breathtaking and so tranquil. In the villa is a welcome book with useful tips on where to go for day trips and local restaurants which was extremely helpful as we hadn't visited the island before. The villa is located near St Georges Castle and we enjoyed many lazy afternoons at the Kastro cafe, simply gorgeous food. The villa is located near some exceptional tavernas where you can enjoy authentic greek food at its best. If you are looking for relaxation and complete comfort then this is the villa for you!

Outstanding villa

We have visited this villa two-years running and cannot recommend it highly enough. The location is quiet but within easy driving distance of shops, restaurants and the capital, Argostoli. The views are just spectacular and worth the money alone. The villa is very nicely furnished and appointed with everything you might need and beautifully kept. The owners are very helpful and there is a lot of information in the villa about places to visit. We will definitely go back.

Villa Sorfini provides a high class standard of accommodation within private, peaceful surroundings and is fully equipped to ensure you have everything needed to enjoy your holiday. The villa is set in spacious gardens with spectacular sweeping views from whichever part of the patio/garden you choose to be. At night the Castle of St George lights up above the village of Peratata to provide a further fabulous view point. In addition to sleeping accommodation for four, a travel cot can be provided upon request free of charge. A private chef can be hired to come to the villa to cook for you at a comparable rate to restaurants, suitable for evenings where you may wish to have a romantic meal alfresco, celebrate a special occasion or for evenings where you simply wish to stay and enjoy your surroundings but don't want to cook, the washing up is all taken care of too!

Outside:
There is a private patio and extensive gardens with fruit and olive trees, large private pool and amazing views of Mount Aenos, the pool is in the sun all day long. Four sun loungers, al fresco dining table for four. Out door seating. Large barbecue. Situated on a private lane easily reached from the road in Peratata, there is a gated drive with parking for two cars.
