San Ging is an individually designed, modern, detached self-catering holiday house situated in an elevated location on the edge or Keswick Town Centre. The location offers guests the very best opportunity to explore the Lake District countryside and has close proximity to the town centre facilities. With stunning views over Keswick, the nearby mountains and Bassenthwaite Lake in the distance, San Ging offers a 4 bedroom retreat with very special features. Spacious living areas allowing a family, or two families, or group of friends the benefits of being together with the opportunity of independent relaxation. The house is extremely well equipped to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. San Ging has been awarded a Visit England 4 star Gold standard award, and a Visit England Rose award for customer service.
Short breaks are usually available from Friday to Monday, or Monday to Friday outside school holidays, at approx. 70% of the weekly rate. Please request a quote.

Beautiful apartment

The apartment had everything a family needs. Access to the local Spa was most welcome. Helen left a goodie box for us and was available to help if required. We had a wonderful stay.

Home away from home, just better!

What an incredible stay. Helen was amazing in her comms and preparation. Property is spectacular and there isn't a single thing you'd be short of, if anything it was a better kitchen than we have at home and felt luxurious but with views that are literally etched in our memories. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic week!

Beautiful house, very well equipped and perfect for big groups / two families. Multiple living spaces meant kids could separate from grown ups! We plan on returning.

Amazing view

The house offered everything we needed and had plenty of room for 4 adults and 1 teenager. Every morning was a joy to look out at the views of Keswick Would recommend the house to family and friends. Location was great for touring around Cumbria and Keswick was nearby with plenty of restaurants and shops. Derwent lake offered so much for families.

Week with family and friends

Everyone loved San Ging. Everything you could ever need to enjoy a wonderful break. Great location with mountain views. Such a peaceful time for my friends and family. Beautiful house with space, light and comfort. Immaculate. Keswick has so many enjoyable activities for all ages. WonderfulCheck in and check out was so easy. I would return without question.

Great location and lovely property

We’be been staying at houses all over the Lakes for many years and this is by far the best well stocked home we’ve ever stayed in. Usually there is something missing like a bottle opener, sieve, not enough pans of varying sizes or even not enough loo roll but this place had everything! Nice touches like salt, pepper, lots of dishwasher tablests etc and welcome cake and biscuits. It is close to the town and in a quiet cul-de-sac. The beds are comfortable and the rooms fresh and airy, it's a real “home from home”. There is even an EV charger if you need one. If we stay in or near Keswick due to the felsw we plan on doing we will definitely stay here again. You won't regret staying here

Excellent holiday home

San Ging is a very comfortable and well equipped holiday home. The furnishings are of a high standard throughout. The views are fantastic from the lounge across the valley. Helen was very helpful and made the booking process easy. She kept us up to date with relevant information. We took advantage of the complimentary spa pass which the children particularly enjoyed. We would recommend a stay there.

The house was beautiful inside and very well equipped. The views are wonderful and the house has a very modern interior. It was lovely to have so much space for our two families to spread out. Great Accomodation, Great Location!

This is a great place to stay if visiting Keswick in the Lake District. Everything about the accomodation is premium and is complete with everything needed if staying in (the garden/patio is great). We visited for the Keswick Mountain Festival and the location was perfect, just a short walk to the town and nearby lakes. We had an amazing time and the owner was available throughout for any queries that we had. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Loved this house! Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean but still felt homely & welcoming. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. Fresh flowers, milk & bread were a nice touch. Description is accurate but doesn't do justice to the space or the fabulous views. Stayed here as 2 families including 4 teenagers and it suited everyone. Communication with owner was very good. Would definitely return!
