We stayed here for October half term, it was a lovely place with everything you would need, the views from the property were amazing and the hot tub was a lovely bonus, we even booked and stayed an extra night, we would definitely stay again, it was close to lots of lovely places to visit too whilst having great amenities close to hand In Pwllheli too
Thank you Mark and Sheila you are great hosts
Excellent property, better than the listing suggests
This property is roomy and cosy and very well equipped, we had an excellent stay, the hot tub and roof terrace was a bonus, with lovely views from the roof. Very easy walking distance to the town and shops. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and always responded promptly with any advice or recommendations on local activities worth visiting. Had a fantastic few days, very dog friendly and will definitely be back if visiting this area again.
We had a wonderful stay. Marina Terrace was perfectly located with fantastic views. Very well equipped with a very comfy bed (we slept like logs) Overall very clean except for the fact there was a dirty grater/zester in the draw and an extremely dirty tray in the cupboard where the saucepans are kept that was full of burnt on food, quite disgusting to be honest, I left it where I found it. Other than that we had a wonderful weekend. Thank you!! Barbara, Kelvin and Connie the Cockapoo
Perfect accommodation for us while hubby was taking part in a sailing competition at Plas Heli. It was easy enough to walk down to the sailing centre and we had space to relax at the house in the evening.
We were reasonably lucky with the weather so spent some time sitting outside.
Some great walks nearby including along the coastal path to Abersoch .
It is a well equipped house and it’s nice to have a tumble dryer for all that soggy sailing stuff.
We loved our little mini break. Our plan was to relax as we always explore wherever we go. This time we did nothing but relax and this was a lovely place to do just that. We loved the hot tub and the views were amazing. Would love to see the views in summer.
Easy check in and good communication. Good location with views. Well equipped kitchen. Overall very pleasant experience.
Could use more towels space in bathroom. Surfaces not on common view could be kept cleaner (etc, under sofa and higher surfaces inside wardrobe)
We had a lovely stay at marina terrace. The photos of this place really don’t do it justice, the view is amazing, great location and fabulous facilities. The outside area is beautiful, so private and secure which was appreciated for our dog. Bed is remarkably comfortable and the house is cosy. Will definitely return. Thank you Sheila and Mark.
Ideal location, well maintained and a hot tub as well!

Great property!
Great property to stay in, it had all the facilities needed with a very comfortable bed, nice bathroom facilities and with the addition of a hot tub to enjoy in the evenings, an added bonus were the beautiful views set over the coast! The property owners were very pleasant and cooperative in any communication. Highly recommend staying here for those who wish to have a quick get away.

Great Weekend Away
We booked this property as a bit of R&R after spending 9 months building our own home, we were not disappointed.
The owners had clearly put a lot of thought and effort (and money) into making the accommodation so homely. It had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. It was clean and tidy, the underfloor heating made it warm and cosy (at the end of November) and the shower was huge.
There are nice walks around the local area but we just wanted to chill so apart from going into town once (there’s not much there) we stayed in reading, listening to music, watching TV and making use of the lovely hot tub.
Would highly recommend.

Great Apartment
The apartment was great for me to attend a sailing championship at Plas Heli just a few minutes cycle away. My wife and children had a great time visiting local beaches and castles and with the centre of town only a couple of minutes walk provisioning is easy.
The apartment is clean, tidy, well equipped and has fantastic seaviews both from inside and from the multiple terraces!
Thoroughly recommended.

About the host
Hosted by Mark Pattison
We bought The Old School in Pwllheli many years ago and my husband built 'Marina Terrace' on the playground. We spent many years there for our summer holidays when the children were young. Now we spend less time there it is nice to share it with others.
Why they chose this property
My husband Mark is into Kitesurfing and the peninsula has a beach for every wind direction. When we visited Pwllheli for the first time as a family we were stunned by its beauty which reminded us a little of the way Cornwall used to be... beautiful and less commercialised.
What makes this property unique
If you are looking for peace and quiet in a well-equipped modern villa that's close to all amenities.... ..a wind trap for sunbathing (in February!)... by the best beaches in europe... Come and see for yourself.
