Lovely villa on a quiet urbanisation, perfect for families wanting a villa and pool based holiday. A car is essential to get around. Walkable into the local town of Turre with some bars and restaurants but worth going further afield to Mojacar for a bit more life.

This villa is in great location with very easy access to Mojácar and Garrucha where there are great restaurants and bars. We were a family of 5 adults and it was fantastic to have own bathrooms. Great, well maintained, clean pool with plenty of space around, although would have benefited from a little more shade by way of another parasol. Villa owner was excellent with flexible check in/out timings and responded quickly to messages. Kitchen was adequately equipped and great to have both dishwasher and washing machine. In summary a really lovely holiday at a spacious villa.

We had an amazing week in the villa and can’t recommend it highly enough. It was a good size, everything was very clean and the pool area was really nice. Communication with the owner was really good and the check in and check out process was easy.

Property could do with some updating and overall general maintenance. Not enough outside seating and would benefit from some additional shade around the pool. Kitchen was very basically equipped and would benefit greatly with the addition of a coffee maker. Towels and shower mats could do with renewing.

The Villa was perfect for our group of 4 adults .it was spacious , clean and very well equipped . The pool area was fab - we spent a lot of time there ! The air conditioning was great. We enjoyed trips to Mojacar Playa and Pueblo - both easily reached by taxi . Communication with the Villa owners was excellent . We had a lovely week in the sunshine .

2 week stay to visit family

From the beginning there were issues with our stay, the main positive was my in laws who live locally were given early access to enable them to decorate the property to make it special for Christmas, on their arrival the door was not functional, the gate stuck and the overall cleanliness of the property was not up to standard - balcony covered in bird poo, kitchen surfaces needed a clean, towels bleach stained which my in laws rectified. The doors were sorted by the property manager but he was aware that the only way to fix the issue was to have a new door fitted. On our arrival we became aware of further issues, Internet not working, no English TV as advertised, heating in the downstairs bedroom not working, fridge cracked and not in good condition, bathroom upstairs unusable due to sewerage smell being so strong, floors were so dirty that my children's baby gros were filthy after crawling inside. These issues were put to the owners and whilst the floors were cleaned and beds changed, the remaining issues were for us to sort or to live with eg turning electrics on and off to fix heater (didn't work) running the taps in bathroom for half an hour to sort the sewerage smell (also only made a difference for 48 hours before the smell was even worse). The general upkeep of the property is not ideal, skirting tiles loose, debris outside and animal poo all around the pool area. The positives are the rooms are a good size and quiet location. I would however not recommend due

We had a very nice stay in this spacious home in Turre. The rooms are good and clean - all with A/C. The kitchen is well equipped and large. and the pool is big and well suited for fun and games. Communication with the owners was without problems and they are very friendly. A super stay in a super house.

June Vacation

The property was very close to where we had a property previously, so we knew the area, which always helps. It was very clean inside, and the pool was excellent. We had a few issues to begin with, but the owner was very quick to return messages, and got it sorted very quickly. Look forward to staying there again, when its not so hot.

Great villa, for a nice break.

The location of the villa is great, we hired a car, and Mojácar and Garrucha, are both just a short drive. Turre has quite a few places to eat too. The villa was clean and spacious, with everything you could need for your stay. Christopher was a great host, quick to reply and very helpful. I would most definitely book here again.

Preciosa piscina en una gran casa

Casa limpia con baño, aire acondicionado y ventilador de techo en cada habitación. La cocina tiene todo lo necesario y todos los electrodomésticos. La piscina con tumbonas es una maravilla. El coche es imprescindible. El contacto con el propietario ha sido prácticamente inexistente. Nos envió la aceptación de la reserva sin un simple saludo y no contestó al mensaje que le enviamos para informarle de los desperfectos que detectamos en las primeras 24h. de estancia. Durante la estancia un intermediario local (muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar) entrega las llaves, responde a las dudas y hace de intermediario con el propietario.

Great Villa with great facilities

The villa was a perfect family friendly property with all of the amenities needed for a family stay. The children (9 and 7 years) absolutely loved the pool and spent most of the day immersed in water. The kitchen was well equipped as was the rest of the villa and the air conditioning made for a comfortable stay in very hot weather. The town of Turre was about a 15 or 20 minute walk downhill or a 2 minute drive and had a range of restaurants and bars to cater for all tastes. Mojácar was about a 20 minute drive away with even more restaurants and entertainment venues. The ladies in our party absolutely loved the range of local markets in the surrounding towns and found somewhere to go every day. In summary, the villa was a great base and catered for every eventuality. The children unfortunately had a mishap with the pool water jets which had to be replaced at our expense, but that's what damage deposits are for so no axe to grind on our part. Thanks for letting us have the use of your Villa and hopefully we might return.

Why they chose this property

There are so many reasons for us buying in this location. Our Villa is on a privately owned development of detached villas with pools that are over the bridge from Turre. It is a peaceful location with views of the ancient white washed town of Mojacar and surrounding mountains, yet within walking distance (10 mins) of the local town with its many restaurants, tapas bars, supermarkets, shops, bakery, butcher, bank, post office, chemist, hairdresser. It has a good Friday morning local market. Don't miss the spit roast chicken then from two stalls with fresh bread from the bakery-delicious! At the entrance to Agua Nueva there are tennis courts, boules, and a fitness park. Many excellent golf courses and beaches are within easy reach by car.

What makes this property unique

The Villa has its own private use 4 x 8 m pool with steps into 1 m depth sloping down to 2 m depth with underwater lighting option.(light switch in pool cabin). There is ample room for sun loungers around the pool and other areas. A portable gas barbecue for alfresco dining is available by request for an extra fee of 25 Euros to cover its after use cleaning and gas.
Roofed patio overlooking the pool provides protection from direct sunlight. Two other patios on the opposite side of the Villa to chase (or avoid) the sun. A rooftop solarium with relaxing views of ancient Mojacar and Cabrera mountains. It is a quiet location but close to all amenities. Minutes away by car to beaches at Majorca playa, Vera playa, Garrucha, Villaricos etc. Golf at Valle del Este, Desert Springs, Marina golf, cortijo grande and much more.
