"National Geographic, one of the most respected and prestigious publications in the world, has once again set its sights on a beach in the Canary Islands in search of the most beautiful in the world. The popular beaches of Corralejo, in the north of Fuerteventura, are in the top 20 for its beautiful white sand and crystal clear waters.
Belonging to the Natural Park of the Dunes of Corralejo, it is not new for this beach to be chosen among the best-known in the world in travel publications, in fact, it quite regularly features in them, which is why the National Geographic believes it deserves a place among the best in the world and ranked it at number 17.
Its crystal clear waters and kilometres of white sand are more synonymous with the Caribbean not an island in the Atlantic, but it offers authentic moments of peace and intimacy which are some of the key factors the National Geographic highlight about the beach, adding “it is one of the most seductive areas with the greatest ecological value in the Canary Islands".
