We live in Vancouver, but we spend as much time as we can in this very special place that we love. We have vacationed in Whistler for many years and after several years of searching, bought our place here in 2008. Our kids love skiing and all the outdoor activities here. We know a myriad of details about the village and the mountains in both the winter and summer seasons; please ask!
We pride ourselves on great customer service. We will follow up your Email or phone inquiries within 24 hours. House was in a great location and really convenient with the village shuttle stop close by. Hot Tub was a real luxury and it is a really short walk to the slopes. For the price, I thought the property was a great value
Our family enjoyed our week stay over March break. The location was great, with easy access to the hill. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with everything that we needed. Peter’s communications were clear and timely. Would definitely return!
Fantastic place. Everything you could need for a ski vacation. Plenty of space over 3 floors and a short walk to the ski hill down to Blackcomb Gondola. We were able to ski almost back to the door via School Marm. The free shuttle bus down into the village works well (everyone seems to use it) although you can walk down the ski hill at night also. Amazing restaurants in Whistler village. Our favorites were Pizza Antico, Hunter Gather & Earls. Would definitely stay again. The place was very comfortable and well provisioned. Recommend!

Stephen - thanks for staying with us and great that you had such a nice time!
Hope to see you again at our place.
Best Regards Peter
Our family of 8 really loved staying at Peter's family property Blackcomb Benchlands. The place was clean, very cosy and well-equipped. Of course we all loved the hottub after our days on the mountain. Sadly we were unable to ski in/out as the snow was slow to arrive but would definitely return.
We had a great time at Peter’s property. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great ski home. The hot tub was perfect after long days on the mountain and the kitchen was stocked well with the essentials which made cooking easy for us. On a powder day you can ski right into the backyard! Thanks for having us Peter!
It is a nice quiet place, a 5 minute bus ride from the Village. Not really walking distance, but the bus makes it more convenient. Really low snow levels makes the ski in /ski out more challenging, but it was close enough. Good option for families or those who want a little separation from the noise of the village.
Place was fantastic for a large group of 6 people! Hottub after skiing was the perfect touch. Bus line is 2 minute walk at the end of the street. 3 minute walk to the slopes where ski in and out access is located.
Great location for ski in/ski out, and great for families with little ones. Hot tub was excellent and the place was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.
We had a great family day weekend in Whistler at Mountain Star #9. The access to the mountain and other Whistler amenities was easy with the mountain access via skis across the road and the free #5 bus running frequently from the end of the driveway. Everyone had their own bed so it was a comfortable stay for our party of 6. Thank you also to our hosts who welcomed us into their family vacation property.
Easy to get to lift. The bunk beds were a little uncomfortable for 2 men to sleep on.

Best Ever
The place was clean and well maintained. The Christmas were a very nice touch and very appreciated. The heated floors in the bathrooms and the kitchen were a welcome addition. We all enjoyed the hot tub, particularly after skiing all day
The location was excellent - it allowed us to ski /ski out and the shuttle bus to the Village was only 100 meters away. I would recommend it to any one, even for those that don't ski- one member of our group is not a skier and he found the bus very convenient

Wonderful vacation...loved the quality and convenience of the accommodations
Property was what we had hoped.....spacious enough yet cosy and intimate despite three floors. The unit is very nicely furnished and well equipped with everything we needed (beds were very comfortable and the linens and towels are high quality). At the same time it is uncluttered and does not have the feel of an over-rented investment property. The owners thoughtful touch in providing enough home comforts (select board and video games, movies and cooking tools and ingredients) was greatly appreciated. The location of the unit was perfect.....close enough to the base and village where we felt connected, but also removed enough where we could relax in a peaceful and attractive setting. The free shuttle service to the base ran frequently, though we had a car and found the convenience of the on-site garage and free parking in the Village to be preferable. Ski in/ski out aspect required a little of a walk, but it is easy and makes for a hassle free start and end of the day.
Overall, we were very pleased with the accommodations. We greatly appreciated the well-cared for feel and the way it was prepared for out stay.

Great Location
We had two families sharing this townhouse and it was wonderful. Fully-stocked kitchen and great mountain views (when it's clear)! The location is very convenient for skiing and catching the FREE bus into town. There are a lot of stairs, so may not be the best choice for the older or physically challenged. Garage parking was also very convenient, albeit tight! Overall, a great rental.

Very nice place. Had everything needed. Great support. Great resort.
Property was very nice. We thought the location was great. The ski in was great once we found the secret track at the rear of the property. Owner's were very helpful. Highly recommend it.

Solid condo for my family's ski vacation
Beyond the unit meeting expectations set on the VRBO site, the owner was personally helpful and accountable for our enjoyment of the property. He provided good instructions on some of the details, advised on how to ski in/out, etc. Will try to stay here again.

Cozy and great location
We had a fabulous stay at this townhouse right off of Blackcomb mountain. I would recommend highly for any family looking for a cozy and quiet home base. Close enough village to be convenient but away from the busy--which was just perfect for us. With a kitchen, hot tub, and apple TV, we were set up for the perfect week. We were able to be on the slopes in a about 5 mins with a short walk. Super easy.

Mountain Star - whistler upper village - good value
This unit worked great for our family. Functional kitchen. Layout - 2 bedrooms on first floor, kitchen & living room on second, and master bedroom on 3rd. Easy access to the ski slopes, and easy access to the bus. Parking garage for the unit and space for visitors. Easy & good communications with the owner, whom also called after we had arrived to make sure all was good. I would rent this unit again. oh - and the heated kitchen and bathroom floors were awesome. Hot tub was in good shape.
