The Space:

Snow settles quietly on the trees above the village as evening light glows through floor-to-ceiling windows. After a day on the mountain, you return to the warmth of the fire and slip into the private hot tub, steam rising into crisp alpine air. Mornings begin slowly here - coffee in hand, mountain peaks framed beyond the glass, the hush of winter just outside.



Living space

Vaulted ceilings and an open layout create an inviting place to gather. Comfortable seating surrounds the indoor fireplace, making it easy to unwind after skiing or exploring the Valley Trail. Air conditioning and heating provide year-round comfort, while large windows draw the alpine landscape indoors. A dedicated workspace and high-speed wifi support remote work when needed, and a safe offers added peace of mind.



Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is equipped for home cooking with granite countertops, stainless appliances, and a full selection of kitchen essentials. Share meals at the six-seat dining table or enjoy casual bites at the bar seating overlooking the space. A BBQ is available on the deck for outdoor cooking.



Outdoor retreat

Step onto the patio or balcony to take in the mountain air. The private hot tub invites long soaks after time on the slopes, and outdoor furniture creates a comfortable setting when conditions allow. A private entrance provides added convenience.



Sleeping arrangements

Sleeps 6 | 3 bedrooms | 4 beds | 2.5 baths

The top-floor primary bedroom features a king bed, TV, Bluetooth speaker, clothing storage, and an ensuite with a glass-enclosed bathtub, overhead shower, and single vanity. On the lower level, one bedroom offers a queen bed, while the third bedroom includes a queen bed and a twin bed. A full bathroom with a bath/shower combo serves these rooms, and a powder room is located on the main level. In-unit washer and dryer add everyday ease.



Location and ski access

Northern Lights sits just above the Westin Resort & Spa in a peaceful enclave overlooking the village. Guests can reach Whistler Village and the gondolas in about two minutes by car or taxi, or walk approximately 12 minutes downhill.



Seasonal ski access is available via an intermediate trail off the Lower Olympic Run. The ski-in route does not lead directly into the neighbourhood - the trail ends at roughly 100 stairs that guests must descend to reach Northern Lights. Ski-out requires climbing the same stairs and reconnecting to the Lower Olympic Run via the trail. Ski access is seasonal, typically open late December through March, depending on snow conditions.



Parking includes a free parking garage on premises plus driveway space, with equipment storage and boot warmers for added convenience. Self check-in with smart lock, luggage dropoff allowed, and long term stays allowed complete a stay designed for comfort above the village.

Guest Access:

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. A private garage provides parking for one vehicle. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.

Northern Lights is perched just above Whistler Village, offering a quiet and scenic setting with sweeping views of the valley and surrounding peaks. Guests enjoy a short walk to the village and the Valley Trail, as well as access to an intermediate-level ski-in/ski-out trail from Whistler Mountain. The location blends alpine seclusion with unbeatable proximity to dining, shopping, and lifts, making it ideal for those seeking both tranquility and convenience.

• Quiet hours. Whistler municipal bylaw states that quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am

• No smoking on the premises. This includes patios, decks, and hot tubs

• Not pet-friendly. No pets are permitted in this home

Very clean, up to date, comfortable furniture and bedding/linens, and well-equipped kitchen. The townhouse is conveniently located very close to the Village. Although it is possible, it is a stretch to say it was a “ski in/ski out” for us. We would give this home a 10/10, compared to many ski places we have rented in the past. We were very comfortable and would love to come back in the future.

Perfect House for Our Group

We are a group of 3 couples who love to ski, shop eat and drink. The location was perfect for all our needs. We drove to the parking when the weather was raining and walked into the Village when the sun was shining. We all had ample space to relax, cook, play games and sleep. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet location, yet very close to everything. Hot tub could have been cleaner, had a weird color and smell to it. Otherwise everything was perfect and we absolutely loved our time there.

As always, Whistler Platinum delivered outstanding service and made our stay really enjoyable. The condo was as pictured and described and we really enjoyed it's cozy feel and location - close to the village, but yet quiet and private. Nice unit and not too terrible for ski in/ski out. Climbing stairs to ski out would be tough with kids. Easy walk to village. Only issue was the hot tub only worked for 1 of the 6 nights.

Location

The VRBO was very nice along with management extremely helpful . The only negative was there was no snow just rain so ski in ski out was a challenge. There is no Uber or Lyft in Whistler and getting a cab was difficult.
