We do not have umbrellas because clients have left them up in the winds and they break- there are a number of shady spots for guests to be away from the sun. A fabulous holiday

We were 6 adults and 1 infant. The villa is in a good location, and is well equipped. The outside space is excellent with a clean good sized pool, which was sufficiently warm. The gas BBQ works well. The local beach is clean and sheltered.

Very nice house with a wonderful pool, garden and terrasse. Kitchen was perfectly equipped. Everything was very clean. Communication with the landlords was nice and without any problems. During our stay, heating was necessary but not very convenient.

Stunning villa in a lovely area

This is a beautiful villa in a lovely part of France. We spent two weeks here in September, relaxing by the pool and exploring the local area. The villa is well equipped, spacious inside and out, and is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood. Nice private garden and pool area with plenty of seating to enjoy the sunshine all day long. Only a ten minute walk/two minute drive to the nearest supermarket and another couple of minutes to Cavalaire-sur-mere, where there is a large variety of restaurants. All in all one of the best villas we've stayed at and would definitely recommend a stay here.

Ideal!

Easily located and in a quiet area of the town.The photographs do the villa justice with all the holiday amenities that you could ever need. Warm pool with sea views. Ideal for outdoor living.The villa was clean with comfortable beds,no shortage of kitchen equipment,plentiful seating and a lovely shaded area when the heat was too much.A short walk to the local Carrefore and another ten minutes into town where the marina, Wednesday market and restaurants are a joy.Great communication with the owners.Go there and have a great holiday,our extended family hope to!!!

We chose the location as it was quiet but still an easy walk for both ourselves and our teenage children to go into the town in the evening for a bit of independence. Perfect

We have stayed at Villa Carole twice now and we will again. Such a beautiful location, stunning views and very quiet but only five minutes by car into town. It's perfect for children, very safe. We loved the way the main living room and kitchen opens up straight onto the pool, which meant the children could take themselves in and out safely. Also when staying with my parents in their 80s the downstairs can be accessed by a side path so no need for stairs and since there is a bedroom and bathroom downstairs this was perfect for my parents. The owners are really responsive and helpful and made the stay enjoyable with peace of mind. The villa is beautiful and the surrounding area also. From the beaches to the beautiful villages around Highly recommended

Fantastic holiday with a smashing view.

We stayed in Villa Carole the last fourteen days of June. The villa has everything that you could ask for, it is fully equipped, it is very spacious and what a view you have!! The indoor space allows you the hang out together or to find yourself a quiet place where you can read. The outdoor space, where you like to be when you are in the south of France, is really amazing and remarkably quiet. You can sit in the sun around the large swimming pool but you can also hide in the shade and still be in touch with the others. There are plenty of nice spots outside where you can relax, have a drink or talk to your friends or family. Cavalaire is a nice little town with that typical French Riviera twist. We adored it and very much appreciated the whole area. In fact we would gladly return to this little paradise. Phil and Miranda have an efficient system of checking in. They also provide you with lots of information about the house and the environment. A great thanks to them. Oh, and.....did we mention the view ?

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt, tolle Terrasse und großer Pool. Leider riecht es in einigen Zimmer recht feucht/schimmlig und die Küche/Geschirr war nicht sauber. Man kann in ca. 10 min zu einem schönen Strand laufen. In die Stadt zu Fuß ca. 20 min.

Wir hatten noch nie eine ähnliche Beschwerde. Ich entschuldige mich, falls die Küche nicht sauber war, was nicht akzeptabel ist, und ich werde dies mit der Haushälterin besprechen.

es waren 2 sehr schöne Wochen in der Villa sie ist geräumig super gelegen mit einem tollen Blick und klasse Pool - Ja so einiges kommt in die Jahre und bedarf einer kleineren Sanierung - auch der Pool verliert Waser, soll aber gemacht werden Der Weg zum Strand ist tatsächlich-10 min allerdings nicht mit Kinderwagen etc. sonder eher einTrail und rauf bei 32 C dauert es ein wenig länger - 2Sonnenschirme wären gut unser einziger Kritikpunkt im August zu wenig Schattenplätze - ist, dass

Wir haben einen Sonnenschirm gekauft und planen, über dem Unterdeck einen großen schattigen Bereich einzurichten, der hoffentlich Ihre Bedenken ausräumen wird. Superbe séjour

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable et en garderons de très bons souvenirs. La maison correspond au descriptif. La chambre et la salle de bain au rez-de-chaussée sont très appréciables pour des personnes un peu âgés. La maison et le jardin offrent de nombreux endroits où s’asseoir en toute tranquillité et de manière confortable. La maison reste fraîche même en période de fortes chaleurs. La maison est très bien située, dans un environnement calme et à 10min à pied d’une jolie plage et 20 min à pied du centre de Cavalaire qui a de nombreux restaurants et magasins. La vue de la piscine est memorable et très dégagée. Le propriétaire Phil est très réactif dans sa communication et est très sympathique. Nous recommandons vivement !

Superbe vue

Tres grande maison tres agreable. Belle piscine avec vue sur la mer. Bon equipement. Les plages et centre ville accessible à pied. Proprietaire tres reactif en cas de souci. Dommage que la TV satelitte ne fonctionne pas correctement. Je recommande vraiment et j y retournerai.

Le charme à l’ancienne

Belle propriété avec piscine et terrain de pétanque. La maison est un peu vieillissante mais avec plusieurs pièces rénovées... Il n’y a pas de climatisation mais des ventilateurs... Donc prévoir nuits chaudes et moustiques 😉👍 Extérieur très appréciable. Plage à 1,2 km à pied ou à vélo.

Toller Urlaub

Wir haben uns in Villa Carole sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus und das schöne Gartengrundstück strahlen eine wunderbaren Atmosphäre aus. Das Haus bietet alles, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt braucht, die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage am Ortsrand von Cavalaire-sur-Mer ist ruhig mit schönem Blick über die Natur. Zu Fuß ist man schnell in einer kleinen, angrenzenden Bucht mit Blick auf eine angrenzende Insel. Per Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten in einem großen Supermarkt. Wir haben viele Ausflüge zu den Stränden der Halbinsel von St. Trapez und zu den Dörfern im Landesinneren unternommen. Besonders genossen haben wir den dortigen Küstenwanderweg. Ingsgesamt ein toller Urlaub mit vielen schönen Eindrücken. Danke an Phil, mit dem die Kommunikation jederzeit perfekt war und der alles zuverlässig beschrieben hat.

We were 2 families so the upstairs/downstairs quarters worked perfectly. The villa is in a prime location for discovering the local area and beaches, very clean and well equipped. The pool and outdoor seating area/space was fantastic as were the views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others. Tolle Villa um die Ferien in vollen Zügen zu geniessen. Das Haus ist grosszügig, hat genügend Platz um sich auch zurückzuziehen und ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Der Aussenbereich ist perfekt um sich mit Sonne und Meerluft vollzutanken. Schöner Pool und mehrere Möglichkeiten um Frühstück, Mittagessen, Aperitif und Abendessen an schattigen und ruhigen Orten zu genießen. Vom Haus und vom Aussenbereich sieht man wunderschön aufs Meer und ins Grüne. Sehr ruhig, keine laute Strasse in der Umgebung. Trotzdem ist man zentral gelegen und man kommt sehr gut zu Fuss sowohl ans Meer (nicht mehr als 10 Minuten) wie auch ins Stadt-Zentrum (etwa 15 Minuten). Einzige Nachteile: Fernsehempfang war nicht toll, nur zwei englische Sänder und auch diese gingen nicht immer (was für uns während der WM und mit einem Teenager Fussballfan im Haus nicht ideal war); Eine Dusche im Garten wäre ideal, um sich vom Sand des Strandes zu befreien.

A great villa in a superb location

We had an excellent stay at Villa Carole. We were a party of 4 adults and one 3 year old which worked out perfectly with the extra 2 adults downstairs with their own bathroom facilities. Phil and Miranda were so helpful throughout all of our correspondence and answered all our questions on the suitability and safety of the villa/garden for our daughter. They even arranged a stair gate for the villa in advance of our arrival. It's a great setting and the views from the garden are lovely. We didn't visit the closest beach due to access difficulties with a 3 year old but there are plenty of other great beaches to choose from. For us the villa was a bit too far to walk into Cavalaire town but parking wasn't a problem. Phil and Miranda left some excellent suggestions of places to visit and also insider tips about how to avoid traffic when visiting some of the busier areas which was especially helpful when visiting St Tropez. The kitchen/diner/living space downstairs that opens on to the garden and pool is a great space and the newest part. The upstairs has more of a traditional feel with some aspects in slight need of an update. Overall though the rooms are lovely and 3 out of 4 bedrooms all open out to the pool view and beautiful surrounding greenery. We didn't use the 2nd living room space upstairs at all, but see how it might be useful for larger parties perhaps with older children who need their own space. In summary, it was exactly the holiday we were looking for. We would definitely at Villa Carole again.

Great villa - lovely outlook

Very comfortable villa. Downstairs kitchen/living area is particularly nice and modern and the adjoining pool area is great with plenty of shade and sunbeds etc. Lovely outlook across the wooded hills and views of the sea. The British owners Phil and Miranda are particularly helpful and a local English speaking housekeeper is handy if you happen to need it, although we didn't. Lots of good value places to eat in Cavalaire. It's not far to walk into town but it's not a short stroll either so we used the car which was fine. The local beach is nice and close to walk to. The booking process and pre-holiday communication was excellent. I would recommend the villa.

Nice villa near beaches in Cavalaire sur Mer

We stayed with our family in this beautiful villa for oner week and enjoyed the villa and the environment very much. The villa is comfortable,well-maintained and clean. Sitting outside at the terrace with a nice swimming pool in front and a beautiful view on the sea and the mountains makes a stay here an excellent experience. We certainly recommend this villa and hope to come back again.
