We chose this location because of its location, great reviews and it’s fit for our family and were not disappointed!Sedgeford is a lovely village and the property is well-maintained and located
This is truly the best cottage we have ever stayed in.Peace and tranquillityEverywhere you turn, there is nature. The cottage is wonderful..nothing to be negative about.A stones throw away from all amenities...We will be back for sure...Thank you..!!!
This is our second stay at this hidden gem. The cottage is situated in a gorgeous little village, the views from the upstairs window are stunning. The property is spotless and very well equipped. The garden is superb, so large and totally enclosed so ideal for our doggies. We love all the wildlife, we saw owls and deers most evenings in the paddock next to the property. Everything was perfect and we all had the most relaxing time. We hope to return again some time in the future.
Great little gem big back garden with patio decking plus big drive way location great local pub good wifi etc all good great location for travelling destination highly recommended Mel kept in touch with emails where to pick up key etc
Excellent location for exploring North Norfolk, Sandringham, Holkham Hall, Wells-next-the-Sea Holt, Sheringham and Cromer all within a short drive.
Lovely homely cottage perfect for a short break or week away.
A fantastic home with all you need for a great stay. The garden was enclosed and the children loved the trampoline! The location was ideal for exploring the local area and Mel was a great host.
A gorgeous cottage with huge garden and everything you need to feel comfortable as soon as your holiday starts, really did feel home from home! Thank you for helping us make such lovely family memories xxx
We stayed for a week as a family of 4 plus my mum, children aged 7 and 10 and our 3 year old dog Monty.
The property was a home from home, with everything needed to have a relaxing break.
The trampoline was an added bonus for the kids.
Location was perfect to explore the norfolk coast line.
Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful family holiday home
This is a lovely holiday home, with everything you could think of. A beautiful big garden which our two children and dog enjoyed playing in.
Loads of things to do in the area, for all age groups.
We had such a great holiday we have already booked for next year.
Everything was great. The house was well equipped, clean with a great garden space to relax in. The location was very accessible to lovely beaches and activities to do along the north Norfolk coast. Communication with the owners was very responsive. We would definitely come back!
The property was as described. The top point was the long garden which our dog enjoyed doing his retrieving, the decking area was a nice place to come back to and relax in the early evening. The village has a nice pub and good food. The property is excellently located for Hunstanton and the north Norfolk coast.
Excellent, served all our purposes, garden loved by dog!
Only downsides, would say that the garden furniture and decking needs some attention and the driveway was difficult to negotiate, but overall brilliant!
We spent a wonderful week at the cottage. The location was beautiful surrounded by fields of lavender and stunning views. The garden is fantastic and very secure for children. The cottage had everything you could need and Mel was extremely helpful. After a 5 hour drive the welcome package of tea and biscuits was a very thoughtful gesture. We would love to stay again and hopefully will in the future.
Some very good friends of mine went in my place as I had injured myself immediately prior to going. They informed us the property was just as advertised, they did comment that the upstairs shower was a bit smaller than they are used to but the downstairs shower was perfect. They very much enjoyed their stay and the surrounding areas
We spent a week here and were really impressed with the property. The location was great and the property really well equipped (including stair gate, plastic plates and cups for our 2 youngsters) Our kids enjoyed the garden - so much space to run about and a trampoline to use plus the horses in the field next door to talk to.
We had no issues when there and found the key access brilliant as my parents were able to go and explore where they wanted whilst we did trips with the kids and we didn't have to worry about who had the keys.
Lots to do and having a nice place to come back to at the end of the day made it more enjoyable

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings with great amenities
This was a lovely well equipped cottage in beautiful countryside. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the wildlife in the beautiful garden. Easy access to Hunstanton although preferred Heacham beach. Travelling distance to Cromer , Sherringham and the beautiful town of Holt with its lovely shops.
THE cottage was well equipped with everything there that you need. We stayed for 2 weeks. Mel the owner was really helpful when we had some issues with the shower and it was mended within 24 hours.
I would highly recommend staying here brilliant holiday intend on booking again soon
We have just returned from our stay at this lovely cottage. We had a great time, despite the weather being mixed to say the least! The cottage is fully equipped with everything a family could need. We were thankful for the array of books, dvds and games on the rainy days, but also the bbq was lit twice when the sun did come out. A large garden kept the kids occupied as did the trampoline. Just 2 mins away is a childrens playground too. The accomodation itself was as listed, very comfy beds and a great shower in the bathroom. Special mention for the owner Mel who was always available for tips and advice on the best family restaurants and things to do and was a joy to deal with. Thank you Mel, we will be back!

Beautiful location but shame about the cottage
Arrived to find the cottage hadn’t been cleaned, had to wait several hours before we could go into the Cottage and get settled (not fun after a long drive with 2 tired and hungry children)
We also had to leave our Sainsbury’s grocery delivery in the car while we waited for the cleaners to finish. The cottage desperately needs a deep clean. Sofa smelt stale, my son was covered in a rash after sitting on the rug! We left 2 days early as we couldn’t relax. Had to de flea my dogs on departure as they were itching.
Only positive point was the weather and the garden...

Sedgeford holiday
Firstly the drive up to the property was so uneven and massive holes, that any sportier car than ours would have taken the valance off. The property stated washing machine, tumble drier but mid week went we went to use we found out that neither were working. The 2 worst items were no toilet rolls supplied, 2 toilets and only half a roll left in one and none in the other and no bath mat.
We went shopping before arriving at the cottage on 14th September, then had to go again on the Sunday to buy toilet rolls. We could'nt believe how mean this was. Also there was a bowl with a bag of sugar, teabags and coffee and the sugar must have been there sometime as it was nearly solid. The garden was lovely and the beds were comfortable
I live in Oxford with my husband, two children and our nutty Border Terrier called Moose. We bought Meadow View in 2005 after completely falling in love with Norfolk (and all it has to offer) during a friends wedding the year previously. Since then it has transformed from being merely a holiday cottage to a much loved second home and has proved to be an idyllic retreat for both ourselves, our family and friends. We are now looking forward to sharing it with you . . .
