About the host
Hosted by Amanda Friman

Amanda and family live in Bedford and we never fail to be in awe of the Scottish scenery. We love a range of outdoor activities so Scotland is ideal for our own holidays. We have been providing high quality holiday accommodation in Scotland for over 30 years!
As well as the spectacular natural scenery, Scotland has a wealth of architectural interest, combining robust and sturdy with ornate and beautiful. No other part of the UK is similarly speckled with such architectural gems; from tiny lodge houses to tower houses, castles and mansions. Having said that, the majority of the buildings from the second half of the 20th century leave much to be desired. Fortunately, the stunning mountain views are what memories are made of!
