I feel honored to have stayed at this lovely home. The home is decorated impeccably but also comfortably. We spent most of our time in the well-equipped kitchen area with adjacent sitting/television room when local family came to visit. Every convenience was provided for; I didn't miss a thing from home! Staying at any hotel in the future will definitely feel like slumming. Thank you!
This was my fifth stay at Bonnie's lovely home. Oxford is such a beautiful village, wonderfully walkable with some lovely restaurants and a marvelous farmers market on Saturdays. I always look forward to my stays.
This was my fifth or sixth time staying at Bonnie's lovely house. It is beautiful and she is a wonderful host. In the center of gorgeous, historical Oxford, NY, the house is very comfortable and well laid-out.
This house was fabulous! They were great to communicate. It was like stepping back in time. Wish we would have been able to stay longer. Highly recomend.
The property is truly breathtaking and great for a short stay. Bonnie is incredibly accommodating and really goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable.
As always, we loved staying at Bonnie and Tom's Victorian oasis in Oxford. We hosted our family reunion there this year...plenty of room and a wonderful back yard for games.
Thank you Bonnie and Tom! We look forward to the next time we can visit :)
This home is absolutely lovely. Our group of 6 friends reuniting 45 years after graduating high school. Perfect and intriguing home. We hope to stay again!!
Beautiful home. The attention to detail is amazing. Every time you turn around you notice another object or detail of the house that you hadn't noticed before. I hope to be able to visit the area and stay there again. Bonnie is a super host.
Staying at this home is like stepping into a museum from the Victorian age. The amenities are modern and the bed was very comfortable. The outside property included ample outside areas for sitting, or grilling for a group. Bonnie is a wonderful host dedicated to the 100% satisfaction of her guests.
Great spacious and very clean property located in a peaceful village. Bonnie is a great host and made sure that we had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again.
Beautiful property, house was spacious and immaculate, very quiet neighborhood, host was very gracious and helpful if we had any questions. Will stay there again when we are in the area.
Very cozy from the moment I walked in Bonnie assured me to make it home. Will definitely stay again next time I plan a trip back to the area and will refer all of my family that frequent the area after moving away.
This was a perfect getaway for fall 2020 - lots of space indoors and great outdoor socializing areas. The house was both beautiful & fun, and we would definitely visit again!
Just a beautiful home that held all of us. Close to many attractions. It was great to be able to hang out with family in one place. Bonnie is just the nicest sweetest person. Highly recommend this home.
We were lucky enough to find Bonnie and Tom's home available to rent for our trip "home" to Oxford for a family reunion. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Oxford if I didn't have to! Thank you Bonnie for your hospitality, generosity and kindness...hope to be back soon :)
Bonnie’s house is charming and unique! We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood to dinner and to the farmer’s market. The house was big enough to host a family reunion when we were rained out of the state park. Bonnie was extremely helpful and welcoming! Great stay!!
This house is spacious, very clean and just beautiful with lots of room to spread out. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. And the amenities and extras are impressive. The yard is lovely and the host was very welcoming and gracious.
The stay was lovely. Home was beautiful. Bonnie was very gracious and welcoming. She even invited us to her home on the lake for a swim. I would recommend here to anyone.

About the host
Hosted by Bonnie S. Emerson
My husband and I grew up in Oxford and never wanted to live anywhere else. Our families and our memories were created here and this is where we chose to raise our family. This location has given us the opportunity to enjoy so much that is around us and yet has allowed us to remain in a small town, peaceful atmosphere! This is the first home that we bought and it was an apartment at the time so the rent check paid the mortgage! We have raised 4 children in this home. They are all married. One daughter lives across the driveway with her husband and three children. Our son lives across the river-- about 3 minutes away, with his wife and two children. Another daughter lives in the country about 10 minutes away with her husband and four children. Our third daughter lives an hour away with her husband and dog! Pretty much every Sunday, they all come here, sit around the "big" table and have a meal together! The children enjoy the basement area and the back yard/woods area. We have a home on Guilford Lake-10 minutes away- and want the house to be used while we are at the lake! We or some member of our family will be available to help you with anything that you might want or need.
What makes this property unique
This home is in a quiet neighborhood and is a step back in time once you open it's door! Period antiques, both passed on from family members and purchased, fill the house. It is warm, comfortable and welcoming. It is suitable for families, as well as groups of friends and relatives.
