This largely wood-paneled apartment takes you back to the winter of 70, but .... then with the comfort of today!
The friendly (55 m2) lies flat on the top floor of a large house with 4 apartments, located at the top of the mountain village Valtournenche authentic.
The small warm living room has a sofa, flat screen TV and a balcony with impressive views of the village and mountains. The completely renovated in 2017 fitted kitchen (eaves) has a dining table, and o a.: An induction stove, oven, coffee maker, dishwasher.
It has two bedrooms:
- one bedroom with one double bed or two single beds
- a bedroom under the roof, with 3 single beds or one double and one single bed.
The spacious bathroom was renovated in 2017 has a walk-in shower with rain shower, sink, bidet and WC.
The apartment has free WiFi.
The building has a ski room with boot dryer and a washing machine for common use.

For a group holiday this apartment can be combined with the apartment on the 1st floor and / or lower apartment of this small-scale apartment complex.

The ski of Valtournenche (3 minutes by the car) is connected to the ski areas of Cervinia (It) and Zermatt (CH). This snow-sure areas of the Matterhorn has 322 km of slopes, the longest run in the world (22 km) and the highest ski lifts in Europe up to 3800 m!

In the summer, beautiful walks can be made in the impressive mountain landscape with the Matterhorn. The area is also very suitable for mountain biking and mountaineering.
Chances are you will encounter a number of ibexes, mountain marmots and / or chamois during your trip! Val d'Aosta is also known for the great diversity of butterflies, including rare species. You can also ski on the glacier of the small Matterhorn!

Schöne Wohnung mit toller Aussicht

Wir sind sehr nett von den Vermietern begrüßt und bei Fragen gut unterstützt worden. Die Wohnung ist stilvoll eingerichtet. Im Garten stehen Sonnenstühle, auf denen herrlich entspannt werden kann. Gegenüber ist ein Hotel, in dem man gut essen kann, wenn man nicht selber kochen möchte. Das Haus ist etwas oberhalb vom Tal und von dort können direkt Wanderungen in die Umgebung gestartet werden. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Eine wunderschöne Ferienwohnung die keine Wünsche offen liess, außer, dass das Dachgeschoss nicht sehr hell ist, aber da kann man nichts machen. Alles war stimmig und wunderschön und es gab sogar einen Induktionsherd.

Abbiamo soggiornato nell'appartamento mansardato per una settimana nel mese di Agosto. I proprietari sono davvero ospitali, gentili e discreti. L'appartamento è molto bello, ben arredato e completo di tutto. I nostri bambini hanno adorato la loro camera da letto tutta rivestita in legno. Da sottolineare la pulizia perfetta che abbiamo trovato al nostro arrivo. Location molto comoda in quanto di fronte, anche se leggermente fuori rispetto al centro di Valtournenche, si trova la fermata della navetta. Siamo stati benissimo. Consigliatissimo!

Viviamo da sempre la settimana bianca non soltanto per sciare (ciò che pure amiamo), ma soprattutto come un momento di intimità familiare, con i nostri figli, lontano dalla concitazione della vita quotidiana. È dunque importante, trascorsa la giornata sulle piste, continuare a ridere e scherzare in un ambiente così accogliente. Siamo stati benissimo. Fabulous Apartment-Just Perfect

Apartment is 3min drive to ski lifts in Valtournence or 12min drive to Cervinia. As a family of 4, the place was perfect. Very clean & fresh, huge supply of towels so no need to fetch any. Warm & cosy & good WiFi. Supermarkets & pizza restaurants at bottom of the hill. Karin & husband were very friendly, they lived below. Overall we had a great week & would highly recommend the apartment to friends & family.

Our stay at Karin's apartment exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of space for us - 2 adults and 2 children (12y & 9y). The newly refurbished kitchen has high quality appliances. The bathroom is also high quality and very spacious. Really nice to have a separate lounge with sofa. It is a short drive (3 min) to the main road of Valtournenche and just over 10 min drive to Cervinia. The apartment was the perfect base for our skiing holiday. Thank you.

Alle gemakken in een authentiek dorpje

Karin en Tijmen hebben van dit bovenste appartement echt een plaatje gemaakt! Mooi ingericht, alles nieuw, smaakvol en schoon. Qua ligging op ruim 1.600 meter een mooi uitzicht op de bergen, zeker in de zon op het balkon met een glas wijn! Skiën in Italië en specifiek dit gebied is echt fantastisch. 3 minuten rijden naar de Salette gondel en je kan fantastische en niet al te moeilijke trips maken tot voorbij Zermatt, waarbij je tot 3.800 meter gaat. Last but not least, eten op de piste is echt onovertroffen! Nogmaals dank voor een top week en hopelijk tot snel.. Groet, Mark en Caroline
