Featured in the national media and reached by a private lane, the only sound is the splash of trout in the river. Ideal for family and friends, children can explore freely whilst you relax on the squashy sofas in the spacious living room by the huge open fire. There are much loved antiques, books galore and pale wooden floors with brightly covered kilims. Seagrass carpets lead up to the bedrooms which are all individual, full of light and have views across the surrounding fells. No fighting for the views as all the rooms have them! The gardens have extensive lawned areas for kicking a ball around. Private Fishing can be booked in advance at a daily rate. We can organise cooking either in-house or to be delivered.
