Located on 17 peaceful acres just 7 miles outside of the West Glacier of Glacier National Park, and a short drive from the airport and larger cities like Columbia Falls and Kalispell, this is the perfect spot for your peaceful family retreat. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax after a long day hiking or rafting in Glacier Park, a fully stocked kitchen, beautiful surroundings, and just in case of a rainy day-- a huge DVD collection, and lots of games and an air hockey table!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, spacious, clean, and had all the amenities my family needed. We really enjoyed relaxing on the porch outside after our long days in the park. As a bonus we also had great access to the park and airport! Would definitely stay again!

Nicely stocked kitchen and home with everything you need. The house is comfortable and clean. We loved all the games available and fire wood. The laundry room was perfect. The host and manager were on top of it when needed and friendly. Will definitely stay there in the future.

The location was great for us as we went to Glacier National Park every day. It was only 5-10 minutes away.The cabin was very well stocked and it was a pleasant surprise to see it had two things of bear spray to borrow as well as box fans in bedrooms to use, which we used to drown out the noise of our kids who stay up later than us. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place for our group of 8 to stay! Lots of space inside, so much outdoor seating, and very close to Glacier National Park. Perfect spot to go to the park during the day and relaxroast marshmallows by the fire at night.

Lovely property!

The Bear’s Den is a lovely property! The clean, open space was very welcoming. The location just outside the west side of Glacier National Park was so convenient. We enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was clean, it was a lovely stay.Rooms were clean, porch was very nice. The firepit was amazing. Lots of fun was had there.The only concern i had which bothered me was the home has no curtains or shades over the windows which ends up feeling like a fishbowl, especially at night.

Although we did not utilize all the amenities of the home, the kitchen and everything was wonderful. This is an extremely clean home! We visited Glacier Nat'l Park every day and this location is PERFECT! We were less than 15 minutes from the West Entrance. and there are several great places to eat! BOOK this chalet!!

Great Location

We loved staying at the bear den. It is a great location for visiting Glacier! The house is large and comfortable and has all of the kitchen equipment you will need for making meals.

Excellent Vacation Home

The house is perfect for a family vacation. The home was well stocked, you had everything you needed. It is a beautiful home and had comfortable furniture. Outside was great for a fire and relaxing. Close to GNP and grocery store was close.We vacation using VRBO a lot and this was the best vacation home we have ever had. Definitely worth booking this rental for a GNP vacation.

My father and mother came to Montana when they were 21 years old. They loved Montana and purchased property nestled in the mountains. Living right outside of Glacier National Park was the best way to grow up. The beauty is unmeasured. Mom and Dad have both passed and now I manage the property. I am married with 9 children and live in Wisconsin.

Why they chose this property

Mountains, forest and the quiet. There is nothing like the crisp air of Montana. The house is just a few short miles from Glacier National Park to enjoy in the summer and 45 minutes from Whitefish Mountain Resort.
