Stunning location, private with direct access to the beach from the large front garden. Could have done with some cupboard space to store food we'd bought for the week in the kitchen buts pretty minor. Humans and dogs loved it, looking forward to booking another week next year!!
Great day as always had family of 11 in the area so six of us stayed at the house. Great communication and very helpful, quick replies.. fridge freezer broke down but within one hour, we were up and running with a new one. Thank you very much Sue
The cottage is cosy and has everything you need but it is its location that makes it perfect - walk across the garden and out the little gate straight on the beach. The bench at the end makes a perfect sealife or people watching spot. - a real place to recharge your batteries and escape the ratrace - there are lots of lovely places nearby to visit or to eat at - but honestly you really dont need to leave the house Dog and Human paradise
We had an amazing stay, the cottage is comfy, clean and just right. Set in the perfect location. Cannot wait until we return in September. Willow, my chocolate Labrador was in heaven !!!!
Amazing week in a great house- everything you need for a comfortable stay in the best location. Ideal with our small children. The pictures on website don’t do it justice - the sea views, the big garden, and straight onto the beach! We’ve already booked for next year. Thank you :)
Minor initial hiccup as have never stayed anywhere with no bath towels provided! Quickly remedied with a 6 ml trip to Pembroke, where large supermarket could supply anything forgotten in packing process. Everything else in cottage perfect, comfortable and welcoming. The garden exceeded all expectations for being dog friendly - secure and grassed. Able to relax on the perfectly positioned garden bench overlooking beach knowing dogs were safe and happy.Proximity to, and views of, the beach fantastic.Area great for exploring with several other beaches within walking/car distance along coast path. Thank you.oerfect comfy
The cottage was beautiful.
The pictures you see on the Vrbo Does not do it Justice, it is gorgeous.
Booked the cottage for a week for a birthday. And it made the birthday. I would highly recommend this cottage. Listening to the waves at night. Can't wait to be back in september 2024
We had a lovely time. Location of property is good, but you definitely need a car to get about. Jack's pub/eatery is a 2 minute walk away and we were made to feel most welcome there; can thoroughly recommend.
Suggest you stock up on provisions before you go - otherwise Tenby, 10 miles away is lovely - with great independent shops. Pembroke is closer, but has a different vibe.
Re-cycling at the property is all consuming - with so many containers; not used to this at home;.
The property was very good. Better than advertised. A large garden with a gate to the beach.
We just found the "in and out" times confusing. (Allowed into the property on arrival and exit on departure.) Could it be in at 5pm out at 9am or in at 4pm out by 10am or even in at 3pm and out at 10am. As this was our only problem not much to complain about!
This was our third visit to Sunniside at Freshwater East- we knew we couldn't find any where better to fit our wants and enjoyment of fishing and dog walking. Sue Lomas, property manager, couldn't be nicer and easy to contact.
Love the cottage. Everything looked fresh and updated since previous visit. It had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Love sitting on the garden bench with cuppa/wine gazing at the beach. perfect.
