Great location and property along with beutiful grounds. Useful amentities on site and great interaction with the hosts. Very much enjoyed our stay at Bramble Lodge
Beautiful spacious property next to the river with views from every window in the house! Jane was incredibly helpful and caring throughout. We would love to stay again!
My wife and I were very satisfied with the rental of bramble lodge and enjoyed every aspect of the facilities and scenery surrounding the home. It was exactly what we wanted and have our family the comforts privacy and security to which we strived to achieve during our festive holiday break in Scotland. Owners Bill and Jane were so friendly and hospitable to us all, which was very much appreciated. We hope to be back again soon.
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely quiet house close to the Spey. Everything was very smooth from booking to arrival and the house was in excellent order with everything we could have wanted. It's a spacious, clean, well stocked house which was very comfortable indeed for our family.
The location is great for a quiet Highland break with lovely walks from the door and is also well placed to explore further by car. I very much hope to stay again in the future.
Very good size for 6 adults, more than enough space in the kitchen, dining and living room. We where a running group so the fact Bramble lodge was on the trail for the dramathon 1/2 marathon was a real
bonus
Should anyone be looking for a property to rent as a holiday home look no further This is an amazing property. The Kitchen , Dining Room and Sitting room are large and airy with views overlooking the Spey and The Speyside Way passes the door. The bedrooms have en suite facilities and the whole property was immaculate on arrival. The owners are a lovely couple and could not have done anymore for us before and during our stay.
Plenty to do in the surrounding area with many distilleries to visit and sample. Would thoroughly recommend this property for a holiday break.
We had the most marvellous stay - the house is so well designed with plenty of space, and very comfortable. To be able to see and hear the river from the house was a wonder in itself.
We loved our stay and hope to be able to go again in the future.
Lovely house, rural environment. Great views of the River Spey. Close to Aberlour, which has some nice shops and pubs. About 25 min from Grantown and 45-50 min from Aviemore.
Very well equipped, clean and comfortable.
Very happy with the booking!
Not only a great location the owner Jane and Bill are an excellent duo who went over and above with our request. The property was ful of surprise in terms of cleanliness, amenities and utensils. There is an availability of so many activities for all age on hand from studying literature to playing games.
We stayed at the property for 4 nights & it was one of the best accommodations we had ever been. Our flight was delayed by few hrs & reached the property around midnight but Jane was very friendly & went extra mile to accommodate us & walked us through the process without a fuss.I would highly recommend the property to anybody looking for a beautiful location & relaxing holiday.

Beautiful House
We are just back after a lovely week at Bramble Lodge. Our party was 4 adults and 4 kids and the house had big rooms with plenty space for the kids to play. They loved hide and seek !
The house is immaculate and has everything you need. All rooms are very comfortable and cosy. The fire is a great asset to the house. Lovely views, especially when we could see the deer in the fields next to us. Lovely walks which the kids enjoyed. It was snowing when we were there so kids went sledging on the hill opposite the house.
We enjoyed a wee day out in Elgin which is around 15miles away.
Best day out was sledging at the lecht (free) both kids and adults had a ball, well worth a visit in the winter months. Around 25miles.
The nearest town is Aberlour which is 4 miles away.
The owner was there to meet us and show us around the house. Leaving us a lovely gift also which was a very lovely gesture.
Would love to return to this lovely house in the future.

Nice house and nice owners.
We spent 1 week in Bramble Lodge. The house is fantastic, really spacious and brand new, with lovely views over the Speyside. It's equipped with everything you may need. Even our kid had a lot of toys to play with. It's not a house for renting, it's a house for living that is rented.
Jane and William were really helpful and available for anything we would need during our stay. We highly recommend it.

About the host
Hosted by Jane Cattanach
Bramble Lodge is family owned and operated by Jane Cattanach who takes a personal interest to ensure the property is presented to a very high standard for each party of guests. The house is located on the family farm and benefits from long private walks along the riverbank down through grassy fields This is her second self catering property, the first having been established in 2000. Over the years a regular repeat client base has been established which is testament to the quality of service provided.
Why they chose this property
Bramble lodge was constructed on a prime site overlooking the river Spey on the family farm. Individually designed by a local architect. It has a wow factor both from the outside and especially when you get inside. Cattle in the fields adjacent to the property gives your holiday a real country feel, yet it is by no means isolated but the large enclosed site offers privacy for a relaxing break.
What makes this property unique
Being recently constructed Bramble Lodge has all the modern facilities and touches you would expect from a property of this calibre including wi-fi and a large westwards facing patio area which captures the evening sun while looking down to the river.
