With 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and enough sleeping arrangements to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests throughout 4,300 square feet of beautifully appointed living space, this roomy home is an excellent size and layout for a family or group of friends traveling together. The moment you arrive, you'll be in awe of the properti's impressive surroundings - Pine trees and incredible views of massive rock formations create a truly picturesque backdrop for your stay. Additionally, the private backyard offers the best of outdoor living with beautiful patio furniture, sensational golf-course and foothills views and even some trails for exploring. The well-landscaped front yard offers an large grassy field for volleyball, soccer, horse-shoes or just a fun place for kids to run.
Inside, an array of windows on the middle level casts lots of natural light throughout the open floor plan, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. While dining areas are within a 15 minute drive, you will look forward to preparing delicious meals in the modern kitchen, which comes fully equipped with beautiful countertops, space enough for cooks and non-cooks, newer cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. Winter Vacation 2020

Our stay here was better than we had even imagined. Everything from the ping pong matches against our kids, the movie night, and s’mores and so much more.The added surprise when we got there sent the place to an over the top rating for us. With 6 teen kids, space is very important and there was more than enough space for everyone. The different views all throughout the house were amazing too. We absolutely loved this home and the accommodations prepared for our stay.

Snow days for spring break

The house was definitely architecturally interesting, and the kids absolutely loved playing in the snow in the small outside spaces. The house is definitely showing some age and could use some tlc. That being said our only real complaint is the mattress in the master bedroom. It is so soft that you end up trapped in the middle of the bed.

We had a great week at this wonderful home. We are a family of cooks and the kitchen was very well stocked with almost every utensil/pot/pan you could want. The pictures are not photoshopped....the view is spectacular and the house has outdoor spaces for all times of the day. The owners were responsive to anything we asked. Loved our time here.

Wonderful Weekend Snowed In

We had the most perfect weekend at this house. Everything was beautiful and as expected. Checking in was smooth and the owners were wonderful about communicating - especially when we were essentially snowed-in and required a late check out. They were helpful in tracking snowplows and when we forgot a charger, Melissa contacted us, got our info and mailed it to our home! Seriously a magical property - the views cannot be beat. We got a lot of use out of the kitchen, the pool table, and we even brough our Nintendo switch to play in the theater room. Seriously, a dream property. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

Spectacular Views but requires some updates

The house was beautiful and had spectacular views as seen im the pictures. All of the views in the house were actually pretty amazimg. We enjoyed the wildlife grazing thru the front yard!! Overall the house was able to accommodate most of our wants/needs, including the kitchen being well stocked for cookiny/grilling and cleaning. Just a few minor things, while we loved the fact that they allow dogs, the stairs, both inside and out, weren't very friendly for our fur babies. They might be for other dogs but we had a few separate incidents where our dogs slipped and fell. All of the front porches felt a little unsteady. Some of the tiles in the house were also a little loose and we had hot water issues. I am glad we stayed in October as not having AC could have made it a little unbearable but overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!! I also want to add that the owners were very responsive with any/all questions I had for them. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful home!

Awesome View, Lots of Space.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Haven House Retreat. The view from the Master bedroom cannot be beat! Waking up and seeing it, you may want to spend a few extra minutes in bed to enjoy it. House was perfect for entertain and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. All of our guests commented on the lovely views and openness of the house. Plenty of room to entertain. Communication was outstanding with the owners who met us upon arrival to give us a tour of all that the house had to offer. Even after we left, they were fantastic. We thought we had possibly dropped an ID at the house and they were kind enough to go through the house and look for it and responded back quickly. I would definitely recommend if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and have a relaxing, quite get away with an awesome view to stay at Haven House Retreat.

Gorgeous Location

I recently rented this property for 5 days for a family get together. The location and views are tremendous. The house has a very cool architecture and the floor plan is very unique. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay (linens, cookware, utensils, etc). Owner was great to work with and met us at the house upon check in and gave us tour of the property and provided us with all the necessary information about the property and such. The only negative thing about our visit was the fact that is was unseasonably warm the week we were there and the lack of AC made it a bit tough at times. I would definitely recommend to friends and family, just at different time of the year.

Location and home were beautiful and very convenient for the purpose of our stay. However the home lacked air conditioning and there were no window coverings in the master bedroom - we didn’t get the sleep we wanted or needed. The home owners were fantastic - very kind and helpful.

Perfect Colorado retreat.

We rented this beautiful home for a family vacation in Colorado and it could not have been a better experience. The views from this home are some of the best I’ve seen in Colorado...or anywhere for that matter. The home is spacious and allows for enough privacy for guests, but still has a huge amount of entertaining space where everyone can get together. Can’t say enough about this very special home.

Fantastic view

While the location and the house were amazing, we would not stay here again. We planned a family weekend and on Friday night, the oven locked closed with our lasagna dinner inside. When we called the owners for help they said the oven did that sometimes and you just had "give it some down time before using it again". Meanwhile, our dinner was locked inside. We had appetizers for dinner and managed without the oven for the weekend but it did affect all our meal plans. The owners were very helpful with getting the TV working but we guessed the oven was just a waiting game. No ones fault but it was terribly hot this weekend and there are very few Windows with screens. We had to choose between letting in some breeze or letting in the biting flies and wasps. We left a day early. Again the house and view were incredible and we aren't sorry we went but would not return.

Beautiful home with stunning views!

This is a beautiful home with stunning views all around. We had a group of 8 and we were all very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The patio was the perfect place for morning coffee and evening happy hour. The owners were quick to respond to all of our questions and provided great suggestions for local restaurants and hikes. We would definitely recommend this home!

Really Great Property with Amazing Views

We had an absolutely wonderful time in this house. The owners were very accommodating and the neighborhood is gorgeous. Between the breathtaking views, downstairs theater, ping pong table, and the trampoline out back, we really only left the house to go hike the trails. Also, the Mexican restaurant in town was absolutely amazing! I recommend this place as the perfect getaway to really take in the mountains.

Amazing property and amazing owners!

Staying at this property was simply amazing. It's right on the front range of the Rockies and there's a beautiful valley with a golf course. The view from the back porch is absolutely stunning. We sat out on the back porch for hours on end just drinking coffee and staring at the mountains. It is truly an amazing place. The house itself is beautiful and very modern. It's very large and is also very new, so everything is updated and beautiful. When we found out that the owner had actually built the house himself it made it even more impressive. We had a group of 6 who had come into Larkspur to help with a wedding and it was just perfect for our group. It could comfortably hold 8 people. The rooms were all very modern and updated. My wife and I stayed in the master suite. The master suite is very large and has a big bathroom with a very large tub, a shower with 3 different shower heads and his and hers separate closets with storage space. Right outside the back door of the master suite are huge red rock formations that are really beautiful to look at. The amenities were also on point here. The owners gave us their wifi password. There is a gas fireplace, several wine refrigerators, new appliances, and a ping pong table downstairs. Probably the coolest room of the house is the theater room downstairs. There is a large projector screen with recliners where you can watch whatever you want. Despite this being such a cool amenity, we barely used it because the views off the back porch were so stunning. Finally, the owners were so great to us. Anytime we had a question, the owner was happy to answer it or fix it for us immediately. Need tools for the grill? We had them within an hour. Need to know how to hike to a waterfall? He let us follow him to the nearest trail. Wanna know the best running routes in the neighborhood? He knows them and has probably run them several times himself. The owners were so gracious to us and our large group and were just so accommodating. I cannot recommend a property for your vacation higher than this one. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Our final design drawings were produced by an architect out of boulder that captured exactly who we are as a family. We love it and would not change a thing.
